I Am So Tired

Beat and bruised

By hands that were supposed to love me

Yelled and cursed 

By a mouth that was supposed to kiss me

Kiss me with love, not hate

Punched and slapped

By hands that were supposed to hold me

Hands that were supposed to give me warmth

Not pain

Tears and tears

Sadness

Pain

Hate

Hate hate hate

I hate you so much

For beating me down

Till I became someone I couldn’t even recognize anymore
