the Strawberry Moon
native Algonquian tribes
call full moon of June
strawberry milk moon
dipped in dark chocolate sky
shooting star flies by
Say hello to June, come greet each floral scent that fills your hearts and noses
it is time to put away your winter garbs & lose yourselves in leaves and roses
June, a month of gentle starts as the days get longer filled with golden light
we oft renew our garden vows, planting seeds of joy wherever we go
"Oh! Flowery Month of June, sing to us a song of hope & gentle care,
as you lead us through the garden path of life with truth and dare...
With each rising bran new day comes the promise of a new tomorrow
help us embrace the moments that come to us without deep sorrow
Goodbye May Hello June, like those lovely strawberries I see grow in June,
I am longing for serene enchanting nights, beneath your strawberry moon.
in june it rises
the moon of growth
and harvest,
of letting go
and reconciling,
of forgiveness
and transforming,
of celebrating love
and spiritual integrity

I’m going to turn a new green leaf
No more Ms follow the rules
I’m going to be a woman so naughty
That lights the eyes of guys like red jewels
Maybe I’ll be a bit of a tease
Until I chose my next violet victim
He will feel nice so cool like a king
As I caress him so lovingly kiss him
Then I will pick a fight
And invite him to my room
We can make up all night
By the light of a strawberry moon
I’m not married so it’s a sin
One I’m ready to explore
For waiting on a specific gentleman
Has become quite a blue bore
Could my sudden bought of acid reflux
Be the cause of doubt in so called love
Hmmm I asked the monk if I am distracted
From finding enlightenment she reacted
Seems we all have karma in life
We can’t escape it but we can try
What if I was this really blind soul
In a future past life
What should I do now
The moon is full of my strawberry questions
I suppose I am a bit self centered
In reflection how can I grow if I am not
If I am lacking how then can I be taught
I read and sometimes words are a kite
That float away from me on nights sky
The stars seem to sing dance and wink
While I stare and try to write pearly poetry
My guess is that maybe I’m here right now
To find a way to be lost in the spiritual realm
To be more than I understand
To be a blessing to others a helping hand
Inspired by the Strawberry Moon.
May all your dreams come true.
Stay blessed and enjoy your weekend.

Behold our Strawberry Moon
She is big and bold and bright
Reminding us to be the same
To bring our energy into alignment
For we are not mere passengers
Souls stuck in mortal shells
We are here to create magic
Like the stars in the Universe dwell
Wrap your cloak of magic around you
Inhabit your senses and wild ways
Know that you are made to explore
Your creative expression of God's Grace
We are not meant to live in one place
Our Souls are here to learn and love and grow
For we embody so much Light and Hope
More than the Moon could ever glow
So look up at that Strawberry Moon
Feel strong and happy and free
Follow your desire to travel to the unknown
Through this World and beyond Life's mysteries

In another life, my dear,
I'd have kissed you tonight
beneath the strawberry moon.
I'd have made you laugh
and blush at your beauty,
and you'd have teased me with coy smiles.
But we would both know
our fates were bound together-
so why not our bodies as well?
And we'd have forgotten everything
except each other
beneath the strawberry moon.
But that's another life, my dear,
where I was stronger, wiser, and purer,
and got to you sooner.
Perhaps another man found you...
and my destiny is to be alone.
Perhaps it is so.
But there will be a heart-splitting beauty
in the melancholy of my solitude
beneath the strawberry moon.

(June Full Moon – Algonquian, Ojibwe, Dakota, and Lakota)
Hoisting passions fervid, probing celestial height,
Hypnotized we stood, enthralled in smile of June,
Caressing dreams flirtatious of a romantic night,
Reaffirming love, beneath the strawberry moon.
Pulsing beats heavenly, fantasies esoteric chased,
Thrilling realm of love, resonating deep in your heart,
Content in your embrace, as memories intimate traced,
Echoes of promises eternal, forever vows impart.
Seeing you rejoiced, snuggled in my loving arms,
Nary a cloud dared to encumber cerulean skies,
As you navigated sight through opaline sea of stars
Tantalizing flame of passion, sparkling doting eyes,
Having been wooed by mystical glimpse of Luna,
Proffering blush of aura, tantalizing romance,
Bedecking tints orange upon luminous rosy awe
Seducing stance-entranced of enamored glance,
Gazing with throbbing hearts, where desires croon,
Hypnotized we stood, enthralled in smile of June,
Humming melodies, in sync with the celestial tune,
Reaffirming love, beneath the strawberry moon.
Big fruit in the sky
Beautifully hanging high
Harvest drawing nigh
Deep passions coming alive
Reaping all the benefits
You don’t look much like a strawberry, moon
But you do look like a shortcake in June
Round and gold and waiting for that sweet mess
Of strawberries and syrupy sugar, oh yes
I can sort of see it now, like a summer dream
Of beaches and carnivals, heaped with whipped cream
Now you’re gleaming white and clean as an empty plate
Right in front of whom I sit hungrily and wait.
when all is ghostly quiet
in the starry sky
a whisper of your name
is all that’s needed
the green light
for a midnight summer breeze
stirring warm and dulcet
to rise meandering about
ever so gently caress my skin
and on my lips land the most
delightful kiss

June’s Strawberry Moon
A pink strawberry super moon so bright
proclaiming summer solstice with her charms,
announces that the time in June is right
to hold your baby in your loving arms
beneath her pink strawberry beams tonight.

blossoming in June
a strawberry supermoon
rises in the night
blushing like a summer bride
caught in a lingering kiss
