Baskin-Robbins makes great ice cream,
To taste each flavor, a wild dream.
One teaspoon of each,
Would rob me of speech,
As I'd soon be busting my seam....

All I Want
All I want is
A teaspoon of light
A dropper of delight
To cease seeing the world in shades of grey
To hold a hand that is not my own
To speak to the universe
To tell my story to the sky
It's all I want...

Premium Member Just a Cloud
I know,it's just a cloud
specks of chemicals
embryonic water droplets
in a teaspoon of time...
but for a moment
it looked like a face
wispy and very wise,
drifting over my journey
stride for stride for stride
then it was gone
I know, it's just a cloud....

She
Preposterous, I am not a junk-food addict!
The recipe was good;
The presentation was great;
The final dish, however, was disappointing.
It could have used a teaspoon full of warmth
And maybe a dash of humor.
A crowd pleaser, at first, to be sure,
But not worth the effort....

A Teaspoon Smile
I am drinking a cup of coffee,
                          without Sugar
I am happy i am having coffee,
 but it's still too bitter..
A teaspoon of your smile
 can save my hot cup...
So that's why i love it
 when you smile...
Because it pours the sweetness
 to my bitter coffee life.........

Is There a Good Man?
Is there a man, that can be my lover

Just as well my friend

A man that is honest, and faithful

and that loves, just me

That gives, a whole mouth full, and

not just a teaspoon of love

That understands, that I

could only be me

That gives me everything,

I need

And do what he can, to be a good man...

Do you not see the extraordinary depth there granted you?

Moonlight, mist, and a heart revealed for youthful romances,

A teaspoon of hazy afternoons giv'n to wildflower meadows,

Gossamer tapestries of memory and emotion and prospect ...

Placed at the end of your pen, waiting for a vivid imagination!...

Rip Me Apart
Rip me apart. Tear away this screaming skin. Find the yearning, hungry soul within my heart. Feed it with your virtue and sin. It wants to taste even a teaspoon of humanity. Wishing to cradle and swallow its bitter sweetness. It craves to comprehend the meaning of morality. It wishes for one word, completeness. ~ August 12th, 2021

Premium Member Iced Tea
Open a tea bag,
Put it in a glass of hot water,
Use the teaspoon to stir
Until the water becomes unicolor.
Get another empty glass
Fill with the iced cubes
Then pour the hot tea
Into the iced glass:
It will be an iced tea,
A cool mixed drink,
A combine of hot and cold!

To fulfill some goals in our life
Man should learn how to combine
The strength and the weakness,
The courage and the cowardliness!...

Its the Little Things
Making the world
using it all in a
transforming dance of life.

First to appear
in the primeval soup
they grew to

fungus connectors,
glue sticking us all
in a criculating web.

Microbes that chop up remains
then bear new things again.
I am a wheatfield becoming.

Regenerating burned forests
and the flood plains
or feeding the ocean

five thousand species in a
single teaspoon of soil ...
enable my breath....

Stuff of Life
After mother
died,
our grandmother
moved in
to take
care of us.

She'd bake bread
early in the morning
and I'd have it
for breakfast,
still hot,
steaming,
slathered
with butter,
and
I'd
      dip
the bread
into my coffee,
hot, too,
with a heaping teaspoon of sugar,
and I'd make it tan
with the sweet,
canned milk.

When she
got cancer,
grandmother
moved
away,
so her daughter
could
care for her,
while
she
died....

Premium Member A Spoonful
My clothes today provide a license
I have an air of mystery
That's exactly on the right side of quirky
My hair can be slightly tangled and look pretty
The way the light is twilight all day positions me into belonging
Of course I ate a whole teaspoon of mustard and 5 cornichons so you can trust nothing I say, I've somatically danced to Creep by Radiohead and am in the "hair blown by the wind" phase of feel good
I offer this prescription to anyone feeling out of sorts
You're welcome...
