The skill of his kill
Preserved head of a dead
And wormeaten body
Formaldehyde face
Eyes chilled black
Lips lifeless and knowing their place.

You don’t need a taciturn taxiderm treasure
Pokerface saddled 
On a laquered wooden plaque.
You have the byproduct 
Of your singular skill,
And each night and day
Slowly,
You gnaw off her head....

A small patch of green,
I knead on ice
of firm orbs.
This sterile landscape starts a fire.

to enter the inconceivable.

The particles sleep in metaphors
of a baked sky,
where the stars bleed every night.

The fear looms large.
I sit in the crevices of hurts
to reduce the dimensions of time.

old man cross a
bright,  busy street.

Taciturn, somber
he never asked
for help or anything,

cars whizzing by, 
office zombies and
children shuffling by.

Only some force of
inexplicable familiarity 
laced our heels together,

braving traffic together
nondescript,  inseparable 
chums from curb to curb,

til we turned a dark corner
and just like that he was
gone....

The lady of the ocean extended her hand —
the wings of a seashell soared.

God heard boldness tempered with timidity —
cherry redness ingratiated on warm cheeks.
A taciturn excitement parted her lips —
the Lord eager to give her all that she seeks.

One shell hailed from the uncovered sand.
Only one whispered the words:    All is well....
