Rich and Famous
Any total ignoramus
Can end up rich and famous,
But riches and celebrity
Often lead to misery.
Contented I have grown
Being poor and little known....

The Rich, the Famous
Talk me down from the edge of fame
Give me a name they'll all remember
Manufacture my talent in a capsule
Sell it by the bottle
Let me be the spokesman
Let me be the model
Wanting to shine like the stars I see
Wanting to live like the rich & famous
Do I have what it takes to be a star?
Do I have what it takes to be remembered?...

The Shining
Yo Steve-0
?Que paso?

You are rich and famous
I am a pauper

People love your words.
They abhor mine.

You will never want to
sit down for a second
and talk with me.

Because your better man. Like Eddie Vedder, man.
and I would guess that you know it.

I never read your books.
They make me sick from
the compulsion you show....

The Name Game
I’d never have guessed the fuss behind names To the rich and famous, their claim to fame To some a status of great importance Some changed by deed poll, classed as a hindrance Mr, a title and blend of Master Mrs, feminine can one go faster Such fuss over names, fill me with laughter They’ll always be here, before and after.

The Less Than Rich, Or Famous
Taking a bit in his season to spin about their coast this coast
Around her globe the same old song as dance, headlines; wrenching
Stomachs wretched poisons turning your ever present of prevailings truths
Kept be a bitter bottle her babylon; forever and a day it seems this purity oils lamp
Subjugated unto darkened spools his spawned weaving children; fallon's prince their air....

Name Dropper Inspired By Contest
Two limericks

There is a truth I must tell and it is a whopper
I don't come from much, but married a Hopper
I'm not playing games
When I make it rain
Though unintentional, I have became a name dropper

I have seven missed calls from Justin Bieber
My stacks of fan mail just keep getting steeper
I hate to be vain
But can't entertain
Every filthy rich and famous creeper...

Growing Older
I use to be pretty, now I'm porky
I use to be thin, now I' m thick
I use to be anxious to fall in love
sometime love can make you sick.
I use to have teeth, now I"m toothless
I use to be young, now I"m old.
I use to dream of being rich and famous
I'am still searching for that pot of gold.
I use to think I could get over the things
I"m used to but,
the only thing that has really changed
is my age and time....

Brecon Beacons for pony-treks,
Cumbrian fells and bubbling becks;
Lake District views beloved of bards
Stone-bridged hamlets in the
Dales with enclosed leas along its vales.
Snowdonia ,one thousand yards high
reached by slow trains up to the sky.
Pembroke with its distant trail so
long,
heritages for us to protect and prolong.

National treasures to preserve and
enjoy by rich,...the famous ...and hoi poloi....

Colors' and Black
Make a change to
eliminate the big spills
colors' Black
the responsibility is yours
to stop the chills
In life's span
you must take your own chance
On earth among others
Don't lean to much on your brothers
With envy, ignorance and neglect
We learn to be a nuisance
Because the telos
of and in your life
Is hard to complete
without the proper
guidance and training
It seems to always be raining
Usually found among the rich and famous
Blacks...

Porn Star
If I could lick my genitals Just like my neighbours pet I’d film it with my camera And I’d put it on the net I’d soon be rich and famous Like a real life porno star I’d buy a great big mansion And a big expensive car A swimming pool, Jacuzzi Naked women by the score A wall hung with old masters Persian rugs upon the floor But that’s really just a dream And I’d be happy I suppose If I could lose my belly And could see my bloody toes

Premium Member Charm
She was a lady of charm and grace
whose attire was chantilly lace
with the rich and famous she mingled
a matchmaker was she, but single

At her mansion they held a dance
where she was hoping to find romance
the fellow she met was quite charming
but his character was abrupt and alarming

She dismissed him thus, and had him thrown out
her prince charming she hoped, was somewhere about
and as she despaired her chance for romance
a charming prince asked her to dance...

JUST A DREAM.

I dream't I was a movie star
my name in sequined lights.
Bright shining glitter everywhere
at all the local sites.
I sang and danced and played a role
that made me look so glam.
Then I woke up to mothers shouts
of breakfast, bread and jam
and would I like a coffee or a cup
of Yorkshire tea?
That's all that was on offer
for my mum and me.
But one day I'll chase my dreams
and make them all come true.
Then when I'm rich and famous
I'll share them all with you....
