Faith has all but
Left this heart
This ravished soul
That's been torn apart
A tortured mind
That's all but lost
How to deal
With heavy cost...

Darkness
Oblivion in the newness of nothingness
tormenting, depressing yet peaceful
       Hello Darkness my new friend
Ravished by it’s black aura, I want to be
             Alone in this Darkness...

Premium Member Vagabond
Like a ravished maiden
pale, forlorn and ashen
the birch lay in the still pond.
Dreams of Ophelia evoke nostalgia,
as golden tresses move on,
splay upon the water
feast upon our daughter
a beautiful vagabond....

ODE TO NORA

Never been encountered,

desire so much desired

On the verge of being so wanted,

attractiveness becomes attraction

Ravished at natures’ skills,

compatibility made so compatible

Acclaimed with the right appeal,

lust turns to love!...

RAVISHED

Ravished with joy, delight,
refreshes my being.
Releases my tensions,
relaxes my senses,
resulting in pure bliss.
Rapturously feeling
radiant and glowing.

Predator
A cry for help
a barren breeze
a body ravished
lifeless
in a womb of desolate brush
Stacy was six years old
she loved rainbow sherbet
the color purple
her mother’s voice
But Stacy is dead
as are her hopes and dreams
forever vanquished
by the bloody hand of iniquity...

Our thoughts connect
They're interlocked
You're words fill each empty spot

Brain cells are ravished
With your great words
Hungry emotions that were submerged

Come to surface
And are generously filled
This is the greatest thrill

(This came to mind as I connected with so many Soupers on so many different levels. SK)...

A Breath of Ecstacy
You never could
tame my spirit
you ravished my mind
trailing lips of Neruda
peeling my clothes off
your teeth slowly
found your way
and gripped the edge
of nirvana

slide my passion
to the floor
feel the air pulse
with fevered fingers

and as your
inhibitions release
onto a plateau of being,

take one breath to Ecstasy...

Soul Food
The taste of passion drips down a paintbrush,
Stroke after stroke with emotion in each drop.
A story told without words,
Is one to be ravished.
Can you feel it?
The change of heart within each pigment.
Fighting between love and hate,
Deciphering the symbols against a stigma.
Do not question creativity.
Question what makes you creative,
Then chase it....

Akira
Over the sun, the robed angel,
She sat on her giant throne,
Turning the days with her soft hand,
Her ring would reflect onto the eyes.
Of her followers as they watched her,
She sat many milleniums turning,
The day to night, but the cruelty of man,
Left the blonde seraphim ravished.
She fell off her high throne,
She plunged into the ocean,
And left a rainbow in her wake....

Two piglets out together, walking side by side,
Pressing snuggly wuggly, in wonder big eyed,
On the first stroll, brother and sister sunshine,
As blue birds prance and sing, in green pines.

Senses soon ravished, by the tales of the new,
Like a thrill of thick grass, under skies so blue,
Wandering in wonder, a time made for playing,
When orange sun's vivid, and is always staying....

Now I Am
there was the cynosure on your sky
you, the convergent point of poetry
I forgot to learn your all inner eye
and failed there to make Buddha tree

here, now, I’m to the hackneyed dark
a bearded holocaust bawl,
I’m to me- a fresh skeleton,
A barren bone of ravished love,
grey yard of withered diction,
the hemlock in dull speech,
caged phantom of prose

Premium Member A Drop In The Ocean
A single solitary ovaline droplet tear of crimson
Eliminated from a ravished
A tortured heavy broken heart
Descends downward into a vast
Deep endless temperamental ocean
Diluted and dissipated vanishes into nothingness
And oblivion as it was ever there at all
Buried as overpowering consuming waves
Gather and fold
Further drops follow only to be washed away
Forever.

Raven eyed the moon glowered
in an anthracite sky
bleeding onto an India-ink stage
where Valkyrie’s pluck
dead heroes to Valhalla.

Wolf winds howl the ravished sight.
Rent storm with fang and claw.
Purge the all too monochrome plight
with the Bloody born.

Harken the twisted neck of owl
observer of raven eyed moon.
Mourn the passing of the faint of heart
for they've met their foreshadowed doom....

War and Peace
All wars scourged bodies and souls--
Torn spirits and dredged feet of the fowls

Ravished by rabid gargoyles of prey
Scuppered dreams of the reapers of hay

Wars circled the world of May
'tis emblem are ruins and remnants of flay

Wars for peace can be penned on paper
Words and spikes of chivalry of the bleeder

Ink flowing out are veins of the fighter
Scrawled blood purged from the might of the writer...

Have Scent of Your Own
Just tell me,
How can I feel
Your inebriating scent;
Strews round the ambiance,
Communicates feelings of touch;
Arouses senses,
Oft I wish to feel;
But sadly you conceal,
In heart shaped safe;
Oh dear! you don't seem you,
Without the scent of you;
Even rose, Jasmine and apple,
Reveal by scent what they are,
Excellence they have;
Your senses ravished,
Virtues lies in your scent;

Premium Member The Futile Quest To Reach Her Planet
In an unreachable galaxy light years away
within a cluster of sparkiing diamonds
in dazzling array
She idly harbours her ravished bleeding heart away.

Many men have tried to reach her planet
board her shore
carried her colours to battle
for the Venus they adore
Swearing undying love
at her tender feet for ever more
With no hope in store
She's lost and so far away.

Her Hair Blonde
When I gazed into those chocolate-brown eyes

   and saw something newly wonderful

   in her energy;

(such roar!) in her voluptuous volcano

   a brewing tenderness ----

her Man would be ravished in her love,

   faint to find anything else;

But pearl-doves and soft things

   in the hardest of him,

   faint to back away, empty

   but to hold her!

Drifting, in chocolate-brown eyes.......

"Ravished"

Soft soliloquays
whispered to an
undressed screen
the romance of it all
fever ridden
sent zipped
and unzipped
sensually
feather light
precocious tongues
in cheek checked
tickling ryhmes
let your fingers
do the walking
like long legs
wrapped around
hearts saddled
like hors d’oevres
devils on horseback
sauced, sent,
ravished

Whisper Something Sweet
In the darkness of despair
A night lonely and haunting
Whisper something sweet in my ear
Feed my heart’s longing

Who else but you
With your breath’s magic
Can my anguish undo?
With words un-strategic

In the world burning with apathy
I seek a drop of dew
For soul exceedingly thirsty
My eye’s raindrops are few

Let calm and serenity prevail
On desolate ravished soul
In body’s mobile jail
On journey to my goal...
