Oh Woe Is Me
Mighty wind blowing
Bringing with him tragedy!
Lines down trees on ground!
Mighty snow falling.
Digging out is hard to do!
Jared shovel that snow!!!!!!!!!...

Oh Woe Is Me
Fell out of bed dis morning
Got up on da right side
Felt something bend
worried I hurt my pride

struggled through the night
and watched da lights go dim
that's when a man's friend
has got to stand up for him...

Oh woe, oh joy
A delicious pain
Pulsates within
Opposites converge
Balanced, dancing
Orbiting our heart
What’s there to seek
Or to negate, repel
There’s no one here
Save pristine presence
Imbibing life’s offering

Crow In Boots With Upturned Collar
My feet are killing me
     In case nobody knows
          The chill is real
                 But all I feal
Is the pinching of my toes
                           Oh woe Oh

Unhappy Hour
You get a ghost inside the house
And all they do is groan
They terrify your kids and spouse
Complain a lot and moan
“Oh woe is me” their mournful cry
From dusk until the dawn
If they could give my life a try
They’d wish they’d not been born

The Ides of March
The Ides of March, oh woe betide
Twas on this day that Caesar died
Stabbed by his double-dealing men
Remorselessly, time and again.
Twenty-three times the knives were thrust;
Take care therefore in whom ye trust.

When I Was Young
When I was young and pretty
The men would pay me court
But now I'm old and wrinkled
They don't want my sort

When I was young and blonde
My figure was very neat
But now I'm so overweight
I can hardly see my feet

When I was young and gabby
I could dance the night away
But now I'm old and flabby
And lucky to walk each day

Oh, woe is me!!...

Waiting In a Lyft
I haven’t a clue
What I will write
‘Tis not morning
Nor is it night

I’m at a junk yard
Waiting on a Lyft
Heading up north
To turn that, to this

Lyft got cancelled
Oh woe is me
What will I do
What will it be

Alas...

My ride
Is Mr. Jeffrey
I haven’t met him
Nor he, me

It won’t be till 5
But that is alright
I’m heading up north
To make things all right...

A Thousand Kisses
Lips are meant to be kissed
but yours also must smile,
and when they part wide,
I will kiss you for awhile.

My lips drink on your lips,
my thirsty still didn’t end.
I trace with my fingertips
a treasure map to send:

more kisses before you ask
and tell me with a bow:
“Sir, this is your prime task:
start fulfilling it right now!”

Oh, woe betide! I will obey,
A thousand kisses, today....

Oh Woe Is Meeeeee
~Oh Woe is Meeeeeee

Oh the WOE......
Oh Oh Ooooohhhh the woe...

My woe is the worst woe
that ever there could beeeeee

This woe ...you know

is so much worse a woe
than any other you will ever seeee

My woe...is the great unbearable woe
a mighty horrifying woe indeed!

and from hearing of my woe
            you must know
you will never ever be freed...

Intellect Begets Despair
As a mind of oversized ears
keenly listening for connection
struck by the looming fears,
and the consistent results
before my eyes, manifested into presentation

The overarching realization
of said bodily disproportion
worthy of being a skit
to drown in a laughing fit

Oh woe, it's spread too far
tall enough to reach a star
imbalanced enough to eventually fall

Stretched beyond repair
just myself, without a pair...

Pet-Sit Panics
The cat flew out the doggy door
The puppy pooed all over the floor
Well scratch my head and rattle my brain
I'm trying to think how I'll explain
That puppies need a diet of shoes
And cats don't really care for booze
Parakeets need freedom to fly
Tweety looked pretty up in the sky
Oh woe is me to be entrusted
With parts of the family-I think I'm busted
Supposed to sit their kids real soon
Yeah that will happen-on a cold day in June!...

No Dessert With a Broken Wrist
I can’t believe today that I broke my wrist!
And I can’t push the button for the cream that’s whipped
How am I to eat an ice cream sundae?
Without that white topping that brings it thunder
And what am I to do when I want some jello?
Cause on top of that dessert whip cream is stellar
Oh woe is me now that I broke my wrist!
I can’t get the cap off since it needs a twist
Maybe I can borrow you for this?
Then together we can dream of ice cream bliss...
