when we be equal
to both highs and lows
likening life to a lucid dream
joyous at all times in equipoise
what then remains to be done here...

eyes look to dice
rolling, rolling
breath is bated
hearts fluttering
it is in a way
a eureka moment
although stuporous

eyes look to dice
rolling, rolling
witness in equipoise
allows heart’s delight
to frolic in playfulness
immersed in the role
in vibrant nonchalance

What Is a Sonnet
confusing tensions
psychopathic maladjustments
forbidden love
in sequestrated caves

imminent war of thoughts
methodically organised
what is a sonnet
true discrimination of
shocking truths
mental equipoise
singing birds under the
carpet of a bleeding heart
pastures of inhibited love
meadows of unfilled longings
religion is philosophy
of action...

High-Wire Walk
The tight-rope of salvation
Is a straining, wire-taut strand
You inch along on foot-chafed trepidation
Defying Satan’s law of gravitation,
God’s balance-pole inside your hand.

Below, the audience is cheering,
Your equipoise of faith precludes all fearing—
Your toes assert their knowing, nimble grasp.
The platform, once so far, now’s nearing.
Step upon it! Crowd gives out a gasp—
Satan curses with a hoarse and rueful rasp....

Thought spirals Eating us alive Remorselessly Gnawing our soul We lift our hand As a stop signal The bubbles burst Noiselessly In staid silence Tranquil equipoise Flow of time ends Melding with the void Awareness self-aware Porous and receptive Invites bliss currents To suffuse our heart Dance of polarities Rotates with each breath Essence of presence Celebrates divine union 01-February-2022

What We Need
How many times should I need to lose you,
before I learn the rules of your equipoise - I wonder.
And how many times should you need to cast me out,
before you learn to bear my unmasked sight - You may not know.
I have already figured out this discoloration,
and, darling - it is going to kill us soon.
What we need now is to have those blades of ours again,
what we need now is to be delivered by our own Caesarean -
from this womb of pretense-fate
and see the light of our true day....
