The abstracts of Pablo Picasso
I think his paintings are a fiasco.
For every one I see
They're always upside down to me....

Imagine a vacuum devoid of any sound, where vibrating waves don't exist, and naught can be heard. Sunbeams like shadows share this trait. Surreal abstracts, they're as inaudible as the turn of a thought.

The Resonance
In blue,
starry night.
Who was ephemeral ?
The shifting sand ?

*

The evil,
in turbulent waters,
outlives-
the flames.

*

Charred,
earthscape.
It was becoming an art.
You have countless abstracts.

Originality
to define the soul
is beyond comprehension
determining the dimension
on a level you can't understand
why do we surround
ourselves with animosity
we contempt the equilibrium
in attempt to be individuals
the equivocation
of our nature
abstracts the communication
overrides the originality...

Painted ponies across the plains; splashes of color against an azure sky; an equine convention in the clouds. Stratospheric abstracts meet with colors to produce ecstatic paintings. Nature’s canvas is everywhere and She paints life with vigorous enthusiasm.

It is to Van Gogh that I owe
artistically,all,I now know,
His bridge at Arles, yellow on blue

Premium Member Literal Poetry Or Metaphoric Hmmm
Literal poetry is my go to gal
Metaphorical poetry is impossible for me.

Metaphors do not come naturally
They are not only difficult
to understand but impossible
to write.

Literal poetry is concrete to me,
Metaphors are abstract.

The only abstracts I want
are in my artwork,
not in my poetry.

For they are not easy.
They are difficult
And I am all about easy....

Yes?
Question?
Please go on.
What's subjective?
When one applies one.
For my part. For myself?
Correct. You apply yourself.
Is that an abstract, or is not?
Well, for it is not an absolute?
Why it cannot be an absolute?
Abstracts are only you alone.
Absolutes encompass more?
Therefore I'm an abstract?
Wholesomely, you are.
Changeling effects?
I'm matchless?
Quite so!
Yes....

Pictures In My Mind
I see my thoughts as pictures,
yet try to explain them in words,
limited by a set of rules,
bound and strangled by nouns, adjectives
and verbs.

I feel emotions as intense waves
bombarding my psyche,
and weights upon my soul,
yet try to express them with symbolic
patterns on paper.

I live in a world of abstracts;
feelings; sensations; moods;
unable to say what is in my thoughts
and being,
as words alone are not enough....

In a Coffee-House
Music measures four dimensions
and speaks to one who has
quietly relieved his tensions
appreciating jazz.

The heroes who abandoned thrones
search for rhythms in the dark
and, lost among the undertones,
beauty is a wandering spark.

Moaning from her rigid lips
to get what she deserves,
monotonous, the drummer grips
the trigger in her nerves.

With acoustics seeking shelter,
she's seen too much too soon,
and a melody could melt her
but jazz abstracts the tune....
