The Wreck
Her face tore off,
layer after layer.
The flesh peeled away from the onslaught of the road.
"This message is important,"
she remembered him saying not a moment before.
She's second-thinking a lot of choices now.

I live in a world all of my own
they all seem to know me there
but yes your honour
it was an accident
the knife slipped sixty seven times
and please dont piss me off
im running out of burial sites
just ask me again when i am me
or leave a message at the

The message in the bottle was not what I expected to see
The glass so clear, vodka fetid within, the label beckoned to the buyer
The cap torn off, insides drained, the droplets stained like weak bleak tea
The promised dreams were nightmares, the vendor a stinking liar.

Off To Jail Send
What we did intend to do was defend,
While other side opposing did offend;
Wiggled and squirmed;
Then guilty confirmed,
And off to jail jury did decide to send.
Jim Horn
Results of listening to daily news.
Also another moving message decided to send;
Did declare Trump to be two tweets to the wind.

I stand and stare as my children tick
their message gifting time
The safe door open, movements alive
their beats sound off in rhyme
All hands revolve to point the way
and celebrate new life
While one calls out to adorn my wrist
—and in my heart delights

Beautiful golden statues of laughing Buddha
Always catching one’s eye as one walks by
Sitting in gardens around the world laughing
A powerful message from just one look
Laugh my friend laugh out loud and be proud
Hahahahahahaha have a lovely weekend and
Laugh your head off

Well, the Hornet Queen who knows who she is, or if
she if, tells, creation that the lines off commutication
is broken at times and the message is wrong, and
they mean no harm if they could just be justice in the
war of the thrones and in the end he well see that they
are well golden and his delight. Its the invention not

The lesion was
spreading. From
inside, I hear the wails.
Past and present
of time, plows
the furrows, in future.
Seeds remain
unplanted. I seek
justice from the earth.
Turn off the lights
I want to see-
the moon in its full glory.
Someone has left
the message for us.
Go out to face the wolves.

A chickadee flew up to me
And chirped out a request -
Please fill the backyard feeder
‘Fore I head back to my nest.
I had indeed put out some feed
But clearly not enough,
So other birds had polished off
The nuts and fruits and stuff.
I would have bet I’d never get
A message that’s been tweeted,
But I complied, for even birds
Get angry feeling cheated.

Good morning happy Saturday
A time to rest a time to play
Jam to tunes, binge some shows
Let the good times start to flow
Eat some yummies, have a drink
Turn off your mind, don't even think
Take a nap, get some rest
Message a friend who's the best
Take a walk in the spring air
Enjoy the nature everywhere
No worries will be found
Just happiness all around

SAD SEA TALE
There was once an old man of the ocean
For a mermaid he had a devotion
But instead of two pins
She’d a tail and some fins
Which precluded their harmonic motion
But in spite of her disparate corpus
They maintained their romance polymorphous
‘Til a herring one day
Brought a message to say
That she’d gone off to live with a porpoise

Too old to forget the last falling snow,
-ever to surrender what you can’t remember ,I wish it not to come back,
From out of the fragmented past,to admit the truth finds freedom,Keeping your eyes off the ground.
Above us is pure, the sun will shine and the moon will glow,Carry the message of hope.to those of unfortunate

Pardon me I have a message
You may think that it's a joke
But the bank has sent this letter
To inform you that you're broke
I can tell by your expression
None of this is very funny
But your wife and her lawyer
Just ran off with all your money
I know this comes as quite a shock
But Mister Man I'm begging you
Please don't shoot the messenger
I've got another job to do

I wonder sometimes
When will my heart
Be set free from the crimes
I ponder in thought
Waiting for a key
Hoping not to regret what I wrought
As a cup falling off
It shatters like glass
Of this I have had enough
Like glass pieces scatter
Like glass my heart does shatter
Like glass it cansend
I facial message to comprehend
But like glass I can't come together again

Miles away
Facing east with my eyes closed
From miles away I smell salty air,
I can hear the crashing waves
My soul is wishing to be there.
The sunrise sparkles off the horizon
Beauty beholds this perfect day,
I opened my eyes praying for sand
And found myself still miles away.
My soul had left me a message
The note said he had to run
Your day dreaming miles away
While I am at the beach having fun.

Stop buzzing round my head bee
I am not a flower
Message understood
I'll go and have a shower
I know I 'm smelling sweaty
This I must agree
Working in the garden
Has made a smelly me.
Buzz off and feed now
flowers over there
Go and fill on pollen
I'm a gardener that cares
Sing to my old man's a dustman

Panoramic collision with stories poppin
Off like rounds from a .90(cal.) machine gun.
Demented shrapnel shooting out in every
direction:
Wiping out all that scoff.
Luxuriant antipathy of all things
Intrudes at times.
Crashing every lousy star melted sings!
Summer begins its end & fall starts
Its chimes.
Carving into stone, the message once
Muses belted.
What lonely streets, veins become
As if her touch felt like a spent gun.

God’s Heart
I sat outside feeling terribly low
until, a heart-shaped patch went by,
amidst a blanket of cloudy calico.
I pondered what this message meant,
winds threw limbs off trees
as a heavenly cloud mass leaves.
White against cerulean sky
a love heart shape appears again
this time chalky, alone – a Friend.
Whether cloudy, or clear, His love is here,
remember God’s sign from above,
when he sent an olive branch by dove.

Grace was an acquaintance
and sat off to the side.
Like many she would chatter
and me; my heart subside.
The others moving with her.
The stars throughout the sky.
My place of comfort with them.
In time a place to die.
With humming in between us.
The message we are here.
The planets passing by us
despite my lonely fear.
While waiting for an ending
another fool is born.
As one who would be foolish
finds friends who would be torn.

Sometimes there between the lines
A hidden message lurks.
Sharp-eyed readers understand
That’s often how it works.
Simple correspondences
May seemingly reveal
Communiques at odds with how
The sender might just feel.
Perception isn’t always right
And instinct could be off,
But truth may fool a shallow soul
While “deeper” folk may scoff.
What we say and mean
May twist and tangle up like vines;
The trick in the deciphering
Is there between the lines.

Spontaneous I formulated it
Knowing full well it is tangible
Little did I anticipate
That it will patronize the audience
Wow, surprise !
Such revelation it left
Keen for a portal
Transmitting the message
Navigating the sequence of events
Yeah, it came together!
The fixation of the eyes
Tearless I smiled
I pulled it off
Left them speechless
Intrigue was the word written

A woman sat down on a bench;
Her dog sat at her feet,
A rather giant canine,
But to make his look complete…
Around his neck his collar said,
“F**k off” in neon green.
It was a collar unlike any
I had ever seen.
The dog, though huge, looked gentle
So the warning didn’t seem
Like it came from him, but rather
From the human on his team.
The message, though, was blaring;
Even canines stayed away.
There’s nothing like a “F**k off” sign
To keep the world at bay.

Jesus came and he visited me
He wanted to see my Christmas tree
But it was only Spring
The doorbell didn't ring
Though I did give him a smile with glee
He had jiggled the door handle
'told him he'd have to remove his sandles
He walked in the room
Where I hastily broomed
I offered him tea as a gamble
This limerick makes no gosh-darn sense
Did Jesus come for me to pay rent
I found my fake green tree
Then hurried off to pee
What message did the blessed lord sent
