Tranquil Hideaway

Tranquil hideaway_ halcyon water
A peaceful place for adopted daughter
His special child, who loves the glistening
On leaves, blooms; thanks accepter

Mountain trail; Spirit accompanying
Pastoral scene my Father listening
His loving hands are so very gentle
Words so loving come, none are abashing

Being at this place not accidental
Total faith in Him; no abandoning
Thanks for harmonious soothing corner
Gentle hands, voice, His Spirit abiding

The Burial of His Father

The cold damp day seemed so awry
as rain was falling from the sky;
the thoughts within his mind distraught
with memories of times gone by.

His hopeful dreams were filled with fraught
as reasons deep within he sought
to understand the meaning of
the lessons that his dad had taught.

But now no lessons preached thereof
the meanings of this life and love
for somewhere deep within the mist
his father watched him from above.

Alone with no one to assist
begin the struggles to exist
he now must face within his spheres,
and all his inner strength enlist.

He’s hidden all his deepest fears
as raindrops mixed with salty tears
cascading down his pallid cheek
while mourning all those long-lost years.

So Called Dangerous Minds

They gives a us a voice, but don't want us to speak.
The president's black I bet he doesn't write his own speech.
Words that he speaks come the people that keep in unequal,
D.C. is evil the future is bleak.

Unless among us is a Malcolm X
All for one and together we're stronger than the rest.
My mother strong ,God is our Father
Jesus Piece lays on my chest.

Moment of truth what's left to be said,
word is bond
nothing is worth more than respect.
Which needs to be earned
shots fired so I'm hitting the deck.

Deep in the street cracks is where secrets are kept,
Nikes on the feet of the ones who keep running for checks.
Turnt cheek to the causalities take a deep....
Breath after breath, war between us, love lost in between deaths.

Mother

“On earth, mother is face of God ~
Urging us to give love our nod”
            ~ quote by poet

Transcendence which is non-dual,
light eternal where holds God’s rule,
is wherefrom our soul self-aware,
to grow in love, comes to earth school.

Polarised, love with love does pair,
Divine Mother providing care,
whilst God or Father, is vast space,
the plain truth, as scriptures declare.

Our Mother holds us in embrace,
bestowing upon us God’s grace,
so that we learn to stand erect,
heart purified, of sin no trace.

That we may choose pathways correct,
love divine makes head-heart connect,
whereupon wakes up, dormant soul
and God’s light, begins to reflect.

Mother’s touch alone, makes us whole,
guiding our soul, in its life role.
The Mother is Holy Spirit,
light most exalted, monks extol.

The Virtue of Hope

We supplicate her when we mourn She is the rose and we the thorn to those who sorrowfully grieve alone, bewildered and forlorn She offers sinners a reprieve and comforts sad hearts that aggrieve Lifts us up when we're feeling down In her we must deeply believe She can remove a worried frown Rescue us when we start to drown Grant us the courage to endure A saving grace without a crown Humbly, do we pray to ensure our faith is virtuous and pure This Christian virtue we should seek For hope we pray. God, we adjure He blesses the modest and meek who are weary, fragile and weak But with hope as a dividend our lives will no longer look bleak On our Lord's love we can depend Hope He provides as a godsend to ease fears and anxieties God is our Father and our Friend

Gratefulness Glow

Grateful to God for blessings' flow My heart radiates praises glow Exalting Him with worship zest Joyfully vanquishing guilt-blow. Thanking* the Lord with goodness' best My soul abides in His love, blest To trek on contentment terrain Ascending toward service-crest. Conquering grievous dearth-filled strain My faith seeks for provisions rain The Creator grants by grace might To abound midst thanksgiving-reign. Triumphant by Saviour's light My spirit basks in grateful sprite Reaching-out, sharing wondrous hope Assured with love, peace, truth and right. Fulfilling roles midst prayer slope My life cleaves to gratitude rope Around vibrant partnership bliss Warm inside Christ's compassion scope.

Heartbroken Forever

Have known many kinds of love and deep grief, love has drifted away a withered leaf; and my sad tears could fill the oceans blue, death has come many times as a life thief. My love buried by an angel statue, his black tombstone is covered with mildew; the deaths just keep coming with no relief, I buried baby with a teddy new. When I lost my mother I was shattered, my heart broken in pieces and tattered; for my mother was my anchor and glue, and life became meaningless words scattered. Each day I wear a mask of joy and glee, so no one will know the sadness of me; too many friends and family adieu, father and grandma also souls set free. So many pet cats I loved gone above, each flew to heaven on wings of a dove; when I think of them I become sad too, the feelings for pets is a special love. ______________________ February 24, 2022 Poetry/Rubaiyat/Heartbroken Forever Copyright Protected, ID 02-1433-460-24 All Rights Reserved, 2022, Constance La France Written for the Standard contest, Some Broken Hearts Never Heal sponsor, Faraz Ajmal, Judged 03/21/2022 First Place

My Father Your Father Our Father-Prayer

My Father Your Father Our Father-Prayer

My guardian and protector, from the evils of deception

I thrive in your presence, by learning from your correction

The past present and future, you are the connection

My life has purpose, when others see your reflection

I lift my hands, to the “Ancient of days.”

Allow me to walk, in the counsel of your ways.

Accept my offering, as I give you praise.

Let my tongue be honourable, in every phrase.

I have strayed from the path, that you gave

Without you, I’m destined for the grave

To my desires, I’ve been a slave

Transform my weakness, please make me brave.

I am unworthy, I know it is true

Nothing in this world, compares to you

Seeing through your eyes, the world is new

You are perfection, in all that you do.

Some seek to find you, through the words of the Koran

Others choose the Bible to learn of your plan

My understanding is finite for I am just a man

Help me to be humble, please reveal all you can

Fulfill my desire, exchange bitter for sweet

At the waters of baptism, we shall meet

My direction each step, please guide my feet

You give me breath, you make my heart beat.

It is another beautiful poem in collaboration with Dear Richard.
Thanks for his nice efforts in shaping this beautiful pray.

Her Fairy Tale Came True

Fairy Hills are gone, with his curse, ruined.
Can this hero be greater than her sin?
Did Father, forgive? He was her desire -
Oh Tam Lin, of stories, you beguile again!

Woods are now suburbs, we are far from home.
Slip into their minds, creep behind their roam.
Past’s visions will be life’s reality.
Legend leads us where fool's hearts cleave and comb.

Climb into their world, leave behind your woes.
Hide ‘neath trembling leaves from past pains and foes.
Search their soulful tale, embrace ecstasy.
Taste the nectar sweet where flowers did grow.

Open light forbids you and I to share
intimacy of our skin warm and bare.
Like those lover's torn, l hold your heart and hands,
softened by light eyes under dark brown hair.

Oh just like Tam Lin, I’d save you again,
far from city's eyes, we’ll live in the glen.
A woman and a girl, I'm with child of yours,
standing brave with you, our love, I’ll defend!

Our lovechild kicking strong beneath my heart
is condemned by those who want us apart.
She connects our love, forbidden by two worlds
as we plan our lives making a new start.

Fairy Hills are gone, with our curse, ruined.
Are we two heroes now greater than our sin?
I forgive myself; in our joy, I’m free -
With tolerance and love, doors will be opened!

Impatient yearnings trigger panic sighs making my blood pressure notably rise as emotions swell against fear attack hence, the Saviour I call for wise advice. For stable health that sighs well-being, blest my body enjoys Christ’s strengthening zest inhaling and exhaling properly exercising upon stamina-test. Achievements expel sighs of fulfillments my faith aspires in reaching-out moments serving the Master by His love and might conscious of limitations’ impairments. Bondings with special child release sigh bliss while witnessing his milestones I can’t miss marked by self-control, combatting seizures surely the Father above does notice. Sighs of sweet trust conclude my everyday fellowshipping with best Friend all the way expressing gratitude, worship, and praise for answered prayers --- whether yea or nay.
*Lamentations 1:11 All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile. The Way of Bright Honour

o seeker read these words and weep
for thy soul so still asleep
as yet unawakened to
this world of love divine and deep

o seeker hear these words and sigh
thy soul and god are ever nigh
divided by the doors of mu
unopened 'til the day we die

unless by dint of effort one
may bring the doors of mu undone
enjoying thus enlightenment
ye lama, sufi, saint or nun

what is the point of seeking this
when life is won by kill or kiss
and pleasure reaps its own reward
why bother with eternal bliss?

yet the mystic path endures
the sacred flame divine allures
the love of truth and wisdom high
even though all love injures

o seeker fill thy heart with joy
all pain dissolves if thou employ
the wisdom of which masters speak
to each and every girl and boy

o seeker fill thy mind with wonder
if ye hear the sound of thunder
understand the lightning strikes
to split the living tree asunder

for if the living tree survive
rent to the heart exposed alive
what might it say to bears about
the bee, the honey and the hive?

so can thy soul be struck by love
from below or from above
when the bolt is from the hand
invisible without the glove

ember in the hearth of home
star of truth high in the dome
hand of divine destiny
pearly shell become the comb

mother earth and father sky
long ago created i
living songline living still
o seeker dost thou wonder why?

o seeker pray and meditate
live and love and contemplate
render naught to worthy not
raise thy children true and straight

o seeker sing a soft refrain
perceptive be and still remain
turn the blade of vagary
with harmony for love to reign

is life through which we fleeting pass
a grain of sand inside the glass
or the eye that sees it fall
compassionate despite the farce?

how great the beauty so sublime
of poesy replete with rhyme
harmonic of the simple truth
transcending bonds of mortal time

i heard thee calling from afar
ahura mazda avatar
keeper of the sacred flame
sent through the doors of time ajar

thy silent voice so sentient
spake words of wisdom and lament
once heard in kingdoms of the rose
still written in the roses scent

simple message yearning for
one open heart from evermore
light on water musical
perfumed garden, divine law
