Speaking In Rhymes
As long as you read them, I will still write them
I've discovered the best way for me
To tell you the things I can't tell you
Is through lines of sweet poetry
Although if I could tell you in person
I'd tell you while holding your hand
How much I have come to adore you
And how that will forever stand
You may think it might change in the future
But I'd beg to differ with you
It's not just a passing fancy
My love for you truly is true
Here's something for you to ponder
You don't need to put it in word
But I sometimes I too like to hear it
Even if in just the form of a bird
