Told You So
While we all share in humanity,
Our hopes & beliefs may differ in kind.
Such that one may vary in uniqueness,
To the point where fear & solitude unwind.
This isolation may leave one as a castaway,
Wondering if anyone else could feel the same.
Leading to searching for some compatibility,
Where another could join & share in the blame.
As our civilized nature has become more social,
Our communication is truly global and widespread.
Yet I wonder if the messages are truly varied,
Or does some editing form an incomplete letterhead ?
So while the data runs along the info highway,
Much of it is compressed & passed on by vocal speech.
And while the shortened message is delivered, I'm
Left to wonder if the complete truth is out of reach.
