SUMMER BREEZE

Lively dreams become a promise When time radiant calls, awaits, The warmth of air, memories last As new summer breeze skates On fields and garden vast. Chorus: Oh summer breeze stirs all roses Oh summer breeze, toes are bare Across shores, woodland, and long drives... To croon for joy, a pleasant flair While romance thrills… moonglow arrives. And misty eves rise longer, Skies above, a brighter blue Grasses turn jade, trailing away With fireflies blazing... hours are new. Chorus: Oh summer breeze stirs all roses Oh summer breeze, toes are bare Across shores, woodland, and long drives... To croon for joy, a pleasant flair While romance thrills… moonglow arrives. Let’s sip lemon tea in the park A kiss or two behind oak trees-- Enthralling stars, now wide awake Dreams aflare oh through summer breeze. Until our hands evening would take. 8/10/2018 John Hamilton’s Contest: Summer Breeze
