The House of My Dreams

My dreamed house
was made with inspiration ...
 I changed clay bricks,
i used verses...
In place of cement,
poetry...
The doors were
borrowed from sonnets,
the windows made of prose...
 Wishes gave birth to light...
The floor of precious stones
found
in a ballad ...
The exquisite painting ...
the rainbow gave me
as a gift
gesture of love
and partnership ...!

I was young once
Yet I have the same mindset and body parts of adults
Can I sarinade sing you a ballad
Bring tears to your eyes, I love you
Love once
I love you first and love wants what love wants
Once loved, once love
Love wants, what love wants
Once and for always, love wants
Once and for always I want what love wants

Wants and for always I love and loved once!!!

Sing To Me a Love Song

Sing to me a love song
A ballad that is true
One that’s about loving
One about me and you

Sing to me a love song
That comes from your heart
Filled with all our memories
From our very start

Sing to me a love song
One you wrote for me
Filled with passion and longing
From the feelings that I see

Sing to me a love song
About how much you care
About now much you miss me
Whenever I’m not there

Sing to me a love song

"without Music"

Come to me baby, walk across the floor...
Take my hand my love and just close the door..
Move towards me as I start to dim the light..
Pressed against each other we will slow dance the night..
Chest to chest our hearts play a song that only we can hear..
The beat so soothing , a ballad we hold so dear..
The music will play like a love story that never ends..
Till our eyes close and we slip away, as the music continues to blend..

Open Door

love left an open door
to let the breeze blow through
after days of rain and darkest nights
my dreams are coming true
I find what I am looking for
what once I thought was gone
all I see reflected
what I hear in your song
sing to me a ballad
of all it is that you feel
dance with me a long slow dance
so I know it is real
what grows in my heart
after days of endless storms
this love that I now feel
when I wake in your arms

Unchanged the Ballad of Wanting

In spite of me
He makes her his
And responds to
My leggings
To cause me pain
Might I speak her
As mine
Might I speak her
As mine
Opened to
Suggestions
That it pains me
To think of those
Moments together
And I am indestructible
Am I served
To a new concern
In my confidence
Am I a fool
To speak to the level
Of this intensity
And who finds audience
In my suffering
To undermine me
And have me feeble
Who wishes me
To lose the momentum
I have gained

Ballad of the Lakota Nation

We people long before born here,
hunting lands for our eat.
our heavens above shed us tears,
and life began to beat.

Heavens gave to them purest birth,
above they warm my skin.
calling to me as mother earth,
I beat their heart within.

Nourished by the mother we live,
grateful for all we own.
we live on to all that she gives,
her body is our home.

All my children work day to day,
to keep our ways alive.
carrying with them much of pay,
from burden of a strive

Whale Song

WHALE SONG

Here's a ballad of the Whale Song,
Translate and we'll all sing along,
Whales in the deep blue sea,
Fish tales for eternity.

Here's an enormous whale,
Swimming the sea for his grail,
Whales in the deep blue sea,
Fish tales for eternity.

There blows the great whale,
Harpoons we hope shall fail,
Whales in the deep blue sea,
Fish tales for eternity.

That's our ballad of the whale,
Singing their aeons of tales,
Whales in the deep blue sea,
Fish tales for eternity.

Mourning Colors

Mourning Colors

my hope is blue like sunlit skies
before the raging storm
as beautiful as the crimson rose
before I touched its thorn

my passion blacker than the night
it used to keep me warm
cold now like white winter ice
my tears mixed with your scorn

my shame the color of my eyes
a sad song they perform
the ballad of the times we had
a dream that left me torn

but the colors that you see
are painting my reform
for everything you took from me
I shall no longer mourn

The Emperor of Reflections

lost in the war
searching for
flowers and pollen
across from hell
with a pen and a pad

i hope life is
as sweet to you
as your mirror is

playing piano after the war
a melody sewn with scars
in the mist of our journey
we became who we are

from stories of elders
keys are like feathers
something to sooth your tears
when they become drops of leather

i hope life is
as sweet to you
as your mirror is

when time is awake
how do you wait
my ballad of war
for all those
who have wronged me

"i don't need your hell"

Strange Marriage

On my wedding day
I exaggerated...
in place of waltz
a l played Rock music
in place of greeting
I gave in my rival
an "uppercut" ...
Rather than
come softly
I came from "approach",
in place of one
ballad, I attacked of Rilke,
rather than verse,
I grabbed a Goethe ...

Rather than
light whisper, i
came from Barry White,
in lieu of apple juice
I served a "blood Mary"

In place of taking her
to the church,
I left her... I went to
a night out ..!
after all what
 happened...? only God knows...!

Shockwaves

There was no stillness in the air that night,
a summer night filled with young love
fueled with passion and ruled by intensity,
eyes locked on each other
and hot breath releasing fire from within,
two bodies crashing endlessly in the darkness
finding our own rhythm
lusting over our own song -
a young love ballad for the ages
but forgotten all too soon,
older eyes and older mind
still remember that time,
still sing that dusty song,
still lust for more...
but still is always the night.

Ballad of the Dolphin

THE DOLPHIN'S LAUGH

Here's a ballad to the dolphin's laugh,
Thinking the sea's a bubbly bath,
Always laughing, always smiling,
Through the deep sea gliding.

Fishing the dolphin does love,
Smiling at the sun above,
Always laughing, always smiling,
Through the deep sea gliding.

Schools of dolphins smiling,
Leaping, splashing and sliding,
Always laughing, always smiling,
Through the deep sea gliding.

That's the ballad of the dolphin's smile,
Laugh and gently beguile,
Always laughing, always smiling,
Through the deep sea gliding.

The Ballad of A Frail Mind

“Are you afraid of being left behind?”
“No, it’s just temporary, I’m not lonely.”
But abandonment issues aren't easy.
Perhaps it’s called a frail state of mind.
A tragedy befallen upon mankind,
Rehearsing while watching the phone ring,
Blind trust or do you question everything?
Lots of space, but you’re still confined.

“What is the reason for your misery?”
“It’s not only that but also agony”.
Much like a forgotten time in history,
Nothing special about this ceremony.
Sometimes you’re calm but extremely jittery.
Once again, all alone on your balcony.

Adjective Dream New Bloodcontest

A dandelion sun floats in a
Ty-D-Bowl sky, and
dewy young girls with hair
like shining copper pennies
and unsalted butter
bathe beneath it.

With faith born of MTV,
they worship Ocean---
her heavy metal fury,
her power ballad calm.

But Eros interrupts,
sending her own virile priests
with Bowflex bodies and
Energizer loins
to defile the idolators.

Ocean rebels
and paves the lazy sky
in asphalt clouds.
Sharp quills of rain sting
both priests and congregants
as they run for cover.

Eros laughs.
Ocean waits for another day. -5/16/2015

I Want To Write You a Poem

I want to write you a poem

The pen spoke through my hands
I hear not , you hear for me

I want to write you a poem
About us
A two stanza ballad for our undying love .

I want to write you a poem
A poem for trust
Me and you, bricks and blocks
Till death .

I want you to write you a poem
for your smile ??
As beautiful as the sun
Perfect with the moon

I want to write you poem
But I fear you won’t like me pouring my heart on the page of a leaflet

I want to write you a poem
A rhyme that guilds us
A poem with a fairytale end.

When Guilt Surrounds

of grief the dread
here you are dead

the guilt I have I can’t forget
I carry the cross all day long
my heart and mind they’re not so strong
it left me lonely and upset.

I carry the cross all day long
the love I had forced me to act
all my wrongdoings I retract
my heart and mind they’re not so strong

of grief the dread
I carry the cross all day long
life with heartache awfully packed
my heart and mind they’re not so strong
here you are dead

of grief the dread
here you are dead

Your Place

You asked me over to dine,
And there we sat and drank some wine.

 The atmosphere was pleasant
As I watched you cook our pheasant.

 I helped cutting the tomatoes
While you stood and mashed potatoes.

 When we finished the salad,
You sat and sang me a ballad.

 Then you finished cooking,
And I didn't even bother looking.

Then we sat down to eat,
And I could barely stand the meat.

The gravy was one big lump,
And I thought I saw something in the potatoes jump.

 I know you tried,
But the biscuits were kind of fried.

Next time you want to dine,
My place will be just fine.

A Warning of Impermanence

Sing me a song of significance
One in need of skill to vocalize
A ballad commanding reverence
And draws a tear to the eye
Tell me a tale of relevance
Like an epic seldom heard
Be sure to mind your eloquence
Make me believe in every word
Recite a poem with elegance
One of your very own design
Just speak it without hesitance
And it needn't be in rhyme
Paint me a scene of opulence
One surely of master's hand
Without a hint of ambivalence
Of a shipwreck in the sand
Just live a life of rememberance
Make wise use of fleeting time
I warn of life's impermanence
Do more with yours than I with mine

Starvin' Artist

I got the blues
Cause Katrina soaking up My shoes
Got me a cold, due to my wet feet
Yet, i got the urge to visit Grant Street
Although, i wish on a four leaf clover
For this day to do all over
Where everything is in tip-top shape
But, for that, i need a Miracle in a cape
A heroic being to drop from the sky
To bring back all my people who did die
So, we could be a family, again
And, i could taste some good din-din
Eat me some fried chicken and potato salad
As i snap my fingers to an old jazz ballad
While getting my groove on like Marvin Gaye
If i could have back my life would i sing: Oh Happy Day!!!

Remember the Day

Remember the day when conversation strikes
Between the two of us for the very first time
Back then, I had no inkling of your likes
The way you know not of my love for lime

Remember the day when you first called me
I picked up the phone at the very first ring
We chatted freely from the trees to the sea
And together this ballad we start to sing

Remember the day when I'm asked to be your girl
I was blushing and grinning from ear to ear
Till now, you are still as precious as the pearl
Just like the first day we dated last year

Remember this special day of the many few
When I tell you just how much I Love You!
