To Question God

On one early morning came a knock upon my door
I thought it was my daughter with grandkids I adore
But there stood my sister, grief as plain as day
She said her son had died in the war yesterday.
Now she wonders why God just sits above
He's supposed to be all powerful and so full of Love
He surely could prevent our death, disease, and war
Yet they happen still, and everyday brings more.
Then to top it off, He makes a Lake of Fire
That doesn’t sound like Love, it sounds like He’s a liar.

After many tears, I took her by the hand
And said, “There are some things you don’t understand.
When God created life and all the world we see,
It was perfect then, like we’d like it to be.
But Adam chose to sin, and ever since that day
Death awaited man, the debt of sin to pay.
God could have killed us all and started over again
Instead He made a way to save us from our sin.
Yes, God so full of power, who lives in Heaven on high
Loved the world so much, He sent His Son to die.
His Son hung on a cross, then in a tomb He lay
But death lost all it's sting when He rose the third day!

Since God is perfect there, in His Home above
Sin is not allowed, only Peace and Love.
So God created Hell for Satan and for sin
And on the Judgment day, He will throw them in.
When Jesus died that day, His Blood flowed to forgive
To wash man's sin away, so man with God can live.
And all we have to do is believe that it is true,
Repent of sin, so He, can cleanse us through and through.
Now the curse of sin remains, so all men surely die
Believers wake in Heaven, Eternal Home on High.
But those who don't believe, still carry all their sin
And God will have no choice, He can't let them in.
Sin will be destroyed, along with the Devil in Hell
Those that die in sin, will be sent there as well."

My sister listened close, tears still flowing free
Then she bowed her head, and there she prayed with me.
"Jesus I confess my sin, I know that it was wrong.
I know now that You cared for me, and Loved me all along.
I invite You in my heart, please, take control of me
Live Your life through me, so others plainly see."
I hugged my sister tight, and I just had to grin,
with greatest joy I told her that she'd see her son again.
Before he left for war, I'd had a chance to share
He's waiting now with Angels, to greet her over there.

I Think of Your Loss

~~ I THINK OF YOUR LOSS ~~~

WHEN MY LIFE BEFORE ME CRUMBLES
AND I THINK I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE
WHEN MY HEARTACHE OVERWHELMS ME
LIKE SO MANY TIMES BEFORE..

ITS THEN I THINK OF MY YOU MY FRIEND
AND ALL THAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH,
AS YOU TRY TO FIND THE ANSWERS.
WHY LIFE HAS TO BE SO CRUEL.

YOU HAD TO LOSE YOUR ONLY SON BRO
I KNOW YOU HEART IS SO TORN,
I DONT HAVE ANY ANSWERS FOR YOU
I JUST CAN HELP YOU MOURN.

LIFE CAN BE VERY BAD SOMETIMES
AND IT TEARS OUR SPIRITS DOWN
BUT I PROMISE YOU FROM MY HEART
THE ANSWERS WILL BE FOUND.

I NEVER WALKED YET IN YOUR SHOES
BUT I FEEL YOUR PAIN,THE SAME,
AND I KNOW THAT GOD WILL COMFORT
WHEN YOU TRUST IN HIM AGAIN.

SOMEDAY SOON WE ARE GOING HOME
A PLACE WHERE THERE WILL BE NO PAIN
THAT WHEN YOU WILL SEE YOUR SON AGAIN
AND NO MORE WILL THERE BE BLAME.

YOU MUST TRY TO LIVE BY THE PROMISE
THAT WITH JESUS HE LIVES TODAY BRO,
AND LIVE AND DO THE BEST WE CAN
DOWN HERE ON EARTH BELOW.

Memorial Day

Memo.. time

My Son asked,
Mom.. Why is there a Memorial Day?
When Everybody can visit the graves Anytime?
What's so Important about it?
Do People Forget, Loved Ones?
And have to be Reminded Every Year?
Is that Why.. There’s a Holiday..
Called Memorial Day?

Then I began, Son Memorial Day
Is For all Our Loved Ones.. Everyone to Honor
Those Who had Fallen Lost their Lives
In WWI and WWII and Other Wars You See
They did this for Us to be Free

My Son Replied, Wow..
Mom It's Like You said
About Jesus
Jesus died and Risen,
For Us all to be Saved
Paid the Price..
Gave His Life.. For Us to be Free

Yes.. Son, God made a way for All of Us
To Be Born-again
Holy Spirit to Live With-in
As God Planned
For US to be FREE!
God Loves Us All

That Through His Only begotten Son,
We All can Receive
Eternal Life..
Blessing.. Promises.. Everything, With Christ
Always Thank God.. And Keep Fellowship with Jesus

Come to Jesus

Example Thought #15

“God (love) is All Things”

Agape(God),
God is love.
God is everything,
He is Love the source.
He is great, the mind cosmic,
Creator , the mighty counselor.
One only begotten Son example.
All of life is love in action.
-Fortunately-
Action in love is life of all.
Example Son begotten, only one.
Counselor mighty, the creator,
Cosmic mind the great is He.
Source the love is He
Everything is God,
 Love is God,
Agape.

Jared this poem is written in the frame of mind, that is of the notion, that God is all things
both physical and paranormal. Ps. I don’t have means of centering this poem, as I think it
would look better.
Honorable Mention

Son of the Morning

"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!"

A. W. Nutter

Angel Lucifer, son of the morning
Devious thoughts he began forming
Against the master and all of creation
Destroy the king, acquire his habitation

Lucifer gathered his army, time to wage war
With God and his faithful on heavens shore
Paradise divided by this beautiful creature
As angels defected for this sinful venture

Archangel Michael, the Prince of Light
Doing battle against the Prince of Night
Defeating Satan along with his minions
Restoring order to God's dominion

Satan is busy gathering mens souls
Placing multitudes under his control
Preparing for war he will not abandon
A final confrontation at Armageddon

Mommy, who am I that I have a whole month?
You are descendants of kings,
and the heart of many creations.
Born unto the words let freedom ring,
as you spawn a culture among all nations.
Where have I come from?
You came from heart surgeons and peanut butter makers,
Scientist and world record breakers.
Your women embodies the strength on which this world is built on.
And your men shows what dreams may spawn.
As prophetic dreams and willful words spout from their mouth.
So mommy does that make me better than any other?
No my son just equal. Because God knows no race nor color.
So son no matter what struggles we have went through just know that God loves you.

Walk With Me

Walk With Me

I said, "Look at the mess I've made."
He said, "Take my hand and don't be afraid."
I said, "But I feel so ashamed."
He said, "I love you son and you're the reason I came."

I said, "What about those dark days ahead?"
He said, "My love will be nourishment and keep you well fed."
I said, "I'm not brave tell me what to do."
He said, "Believe in me and I'll carry you through."

I said, "Okay Father, teach me to be a man."
He said, "I love you my son now take my hand."
I said, "My soul is Yours for eternity."
He said, "I'm proud of you my son, now walk with me."
