A man knows how to live life in fun !
So, let's not demand, but thank them,
For being around us, whenever they can.

"Letting Him Go"
There's a boy I know
Who, everyday, crushes my soul.
His silence is deafening,
a reminder of my past mistakes.
His ghost all around me,
anchoring me to his memory.
I loved this boy;
I still do.
Not as a wife loves her husband,
but as a mother loves her son.
He lives in my dreams,
he exists in my tears.
I wake with him on my mind;
I lie awake, his words echoing in my ears.
The hope that he will one day call will not die,
no matter how hard I may try.
I no longer need him,
I've learned to survive alone.
But I want him here so dearly
that I'd do anything for just one more hug.
I miss his voice;
his laugh even more.
But I'll keep my distance
because he wishes it so.
And isn't that what love is?
Loving enough to let him go.

My first child and my only child
Truly, the most wonderful gift I have ever received
A beautiful boy who made my life worth living
and whose smile will forever remain etched in my memory
A boy who grew into a man
and left this world a better place
Tears of memory slowly roll down my face
as I remember your engaging sense of humor
and how you loved to make others laugh
Never did I imagine
after twenty-four short years
that your life would be so quickly taken from you
My heart and mind are still not able to grasp it
The pain that I felt on that day
continues to tear at the depths of my soul
and although time does have a way of healing
it also leaves one with an unmanageable, unending longing
I will carry you with me
deep in my heart
until the time comes for you
to fill my waiting arms once more

To "Spud" my special little hamster
"Spud" - my little hamster in late April popped his clogs
Now buried in a grave in the garden underneath the sod
With some of his hamster food that I did not want to waste
I threw it in the garden to give the birds something to taste
Now my garden is filled up with huge golden sunflowers galore
And with it now my beautiful little "Spud" lives on forever more
I will tend to these sunflowers until their time with me is spent
Remembering all the times of "Spud" my hamster heaven sent

A mother proudly raising her 3 beautiful children.
A son that will soon go fight for our country
A daughter that will be blessed with four children
An other Daughter that will be gifted in the arts.
That will always be there for them
To make a joke
Or heal a wound.
A Wife to a solder of the old red white and blue
For 34 years of being married on July 19th.
Always being there for him when he needs her most
And happy care for him in sickness and health.
A grandmother to four young girls
An artist and a poet
A rock-star at heart
A soon to be teacher
And a little princess
Has cared for and looked after
Was there to talk to when no one else would listen
Would love to hear or see their talents
Always had a blasted watching their favorite tv shows or movies.
That's what I think an awesome grandma is.
I go to her resting place and with a smile tears rolling down my face i say
"I love and miss you Grandma"
