Roses are red
Sometimes they blue
Hearts break
Time passes
Someone laughs
Someone cries
I surrender to love
My heart breaks
Like a blue rose

You professed your love....
Sweet, like a rose in a
blossoming spring,
Warm, like your chestnut eyes
as you smile,
Entangled with promises,
...but not to me.

You thought I was the only rose in the garden,
But what you didn't realize,
Was that I was the only rotted one,
With insects crawling and burrowing into my roots.

Radio’s playing jazz.
Red wine is poured in flutes,
Ribeye steak; in oven,
Rose petals are scattered.
Rediscovering us.
Romance is in the air,
Ready set go, my love.

A love had suddenly bloomed;
In the summer
It had come to soon
Made from the reddest petals;
It had its beauty
But was something typical
How time grew the thorns;
What exists
Must be ended, love forlorn
The Rose had then wilted;
Love carried by the wind
As summer had finally ended

It was to last forever.
But the Bloom fell off the Rose.
It started great, however, the Bloom fell off the Rose.
It shouldn't have started, but it did
And the Bloom fell off the Rose.
Now she is brokenhearted
for the Bloom fell off the Rose
He too has since departed
while the Bloom falls off the Rose.

A love so sweet,
It’s like you’re given a red rose.
The nice scent,
bringing you calmness.
The lovely red color,
bringing you joy.
The beautiful sight the flower gives,
bringing you happiness.
You are my red rose.
You bring me peace,
you bring me joy,
you bring me happiness,
and you make me love you even more,
than I did the day before.

Life was running perfect on its rails,
Smooth and steady apace,
Till there was an unforeseen turn,
Every rose has its thorn.
The kindest person I ever met,
Added fragrance to my life,
His absence pricks so sharp ,
But every Rose has its thorn .
Dreams so bright near fulfil,
Mesmerised my heart and soul,
Till some awakened me to reality,
Every Rose has its thorn !

A yellow dawn two years now gone
A yellow rose to mark the day
The day when you were taken son
For even now I wonder why through endless tears I cry
My darling son ~ my only one ~ taken far too soon
I had no chance to hold your hand or even say goodbye...

Every time you speak,
all that comes from your mouth is venom.
Degrading and humiliating to all who share themselves to you.
All that’s left is a ghost that has replaced the old you.
You.
You are a wicked rose, beautiful until you get pricked by your thorns.
Every time you speak to me I feel the room swallowing me whole.
Gasping for air.
Gasping to grasp words to fire back at you like a war.
You took your aim and shot me for the last time.

Waking up and shaking up
Running up for the daily dose
Drying up is every rose
Dying up is every rose
Drugs and thugs ruining lives
Selling smiles and all knives
It's not to give you joy
It's mere a deathful toy
Waiting out with their ploy
Getting in trap every girl and boy
People selling drugs in convoy
Police Sirens all over the town
The thugs free with no mask or gown
Killing humans without a frown
Police Sirens all over the town

The love I feel for you is the reason I breathe
It is the smile on my face;
it is the love poem written on my heart
that nothing can erase
it is the strength that I find when I need it the most
it is the perfect pedal on the most beautiful rose
it is my direction when I am lost and alone
wherever we are...our love makes it home
it is my stepping stone guiding my way
it is the reason I am truly okay
it is the reason we will always be
it is the love that never leaves

Their is beauty in the beast,
Their is beast in the beauty.
They compliment each other beautifully.
A well inter twined love story.
Magic that goes beyond an enchanted rose,
And a mirror.
He makes me see clearer, that what he wants from me is forever.
Maybe he's my saviour.
I'm scared though, I don't think he really knows.
I don't want to be hurt and left in the dirt.
I've been played to many times, I don't want this to be the same old rhyme.

Beautiful notes revolve precisely like time
second per second
minute per minute
hour by hour
Pianists in the background readily yet to
Notes come to spill as love evolves
I hear then the pianist compose as supposed
Those oppose as I fade like a rose racing against
time not to fade
Distance remains in time to unwind , for till duration
awaits as is , will be, could be relevant due to whose
time
Time is a ticking
Until then Diminish distance in time

You can listen with your heart.
You can see with more than sight.
You can stand taller than your height when you let your dreams take flight.
You can feel the beats of sound
You can stop and hold all time
Capture a nation with a smile
Inspire so, so many minds
Your grace is of the butterfly
Brought tears to many grown mens eyes.
You humble heart shines like any star in any sky.
A Rose blooming under winter skies in these days of darker times.
You have made magic come alive.
Rose and Giovanni.

“He glides into my parlour with his shades a tad too low
Saying can you clip my moustache, I like whisk ‘n’ show.
So I take out my old blade and nip and oops I think I missed
Now he’s suing me for having nicked his upper lip, he’s pissed.”
“She says I tried to kiss her in the most sensual way
Full of Scotch whisky drunk just because I wouldn’t pay.
I saw the old blade heading for my throat thinking a joke
But this old queen pissed her off because I thought her a bloke.”

I love my little Buddha husband
sometimes I watch him as he naps
his face assuming the soft delicate
lines of a child or an angel
asleep on God's bosom
I observe him in the garden
through the glass patio door
reflective light of the noonday sun
splashing gold over his bent form
Gently he snips fragrant rose blossoms
arranging a charming feng shui bouquet
for our kitchen counter
Cuddling close and cozy on our
chocolate brown love sofa
as evening casts a starry
love spell
I Thank God for such a
blessed and sacred life and especially
for my little Buddha's delight

Am I your rose,
Or your roach?
You assure me i’m the rose,
But how can I tell for myself,
I wished I could see inside your pretty skull,
See the flowers of thoughts growing there,
Some made from seeds of envy and hate,
Some from seeds of the most delicate love and tenderness,
I wished I could watch them bloom and blossom,
I wish I knew if you meant everything,
Every word you've said,
How can I tell?
Your face is permanently embedded in my head,
With fine details,
As sharp as the line of your jaw,
And along with the face comes the threat of your potential lies,
Still fresh.

My eyes and heart are falling alike so
The stars tonight may even fall like leaves
Sprinkles of raindrops are falling
The sunset fell and darkness falls
A waterfall falls so sparkling t'was clear
Petals off a rose bush dramatically fall
Feathers fall from a bird ready to fly
The sun watches the moon fall and rise
That butterfly looks as if its falling
Once again my dreams fall and fall
Even as much but falling from where
A teardrop falls from eyes gently so
A strand of hair escapes to fall and escape
Time stands still to fall back in place
My eyes and heart are falling alike so

I wear this smile just for you,
It's fake and hurts for me to do.
All the times she did it too,
Wore that smile while black and blue.
The way I act as if nothings been,
Makeup I wear, it protects him.
The tears washed away what I hid,
Those pretty blues above my eyelid.
My lip it swells like a blooming rose,
The blood has dried inside my nose.
How can you look at me and not say,
You're sorry for making me look this way.
It hurts me knowing It'll all fade away,
Except for the smile that forever stays.
His ego got bruised just like my face,
When I decided to walk away.

There is someone who's placed a rose,
The rose inside my heart,
My love for him blossoms and grows,
For he's so sweet and smart,
Each day he tries out antics new
To gain our attention,
With him around, one can't be blue,
His love's no pretension,
This rose within my heart's for him,
Blooming brighter each day,
He makes me laugh when I am grim,
And troubles melt away,
He was little, but now grown tall,
Never knew how time flew,
For him, this poem rose, I scrawl,
For my loving nephew.

Just A Single Red Rose
Just a single red rose
Centered in a clear vase
Symbolizes your love for me
Keeping my heart beating in a perfect pace
Darkness is no longer a lonely place
Just a single red rose
Surrounded by babies breath would symbolize
Your passion and tenderness I feel with every kiss
The warmth of your hands touching my face
As you hold me in your arms, feeling your embrace
A single red rose...
The vividness of color expressed of a TRUE love
Baby, I thank my lucky stars and to God above
For giving me a chance at finding my wonderful man
So passionate
So gentle
So funny
So kind...
Because darling, you are TRULY one of a kind!

Faded Flowers
Each flower dried and faded, sitting in their bowl
Still a slight aroma, never eluded from their goal
Pondering on their lifetime of giving us some joy
Un-watered, have now lost their ability to be coy
Yet each petal is still with me, held within its own
With a faded parchment rose as it glory capstone
Dust upon the window sill, the curtains still closed
Never a thought given to the flowers left exposed
In a hope that memories like the flowers, will fade
Until all the emotions within me, have been played
Of that day you left me never to return any more
The faded flowers remain, that I’ve forever sworn

Here I stand, full of expectation;
With a rose-tinted perception of love;
Trawling life for a small slice of heaven;
For my sweetest seraph, sent from above.
Will I find her waiting; bathed in moonlight?
Or kissed by the tender rays of the sun?
Blatantly standing on a street corner?
Or hiding in darkness until I come?
Does she yearn for me as I yearn for her?
Envisage me in her soft, blissful sleep;
Stealing her away from all life's heartaches;
And taking her hand and her heart, to keep?
For now I can only ponder answers;
Let my heart spell her name in my writing;
Beg the gods to throw her into my path
and that day she hits my heart; lightening.
