In Concert

She had a voice of her own. She didn’t always sound melodious; but was always true to the ear. Her tone was always in tune to her heart’s calling and her mind’s pursuit.
She held not a fairy’s wand, but her own life’s baton.

She was the music. She was the maestro.

She Seems Fine

Little voice not feeling well
She just goes on, no one can tell
I wish that I could comfort her
I'd make her tea, I would transfer
Her ills to me so she'd be well
I love this voice, can't you tell?
I'd play her music, count her sheep
Until she fell fast asleep

Merry Christmas

When the wind blows through the trees
I see you waving through the leaves
When the wind blows through the chimes
I hear your name in tonal rhymes
When the music starts to play
I dream about the dream someday
When the sun sets in the west
I think that's when I love you best

Hurry Someday

Desire lives inside me
Of that I cannot lie
But I choose to await you
And settle to apply
Feelings into poems
Unspoken interludes
Heartfelt words and music
Of love and gratitude
You're my true companion
I've everything to hide
To whom it may concern
I choose you as my prize

Songs

SONGS
The music that I played to sing
Made no felicity to the brains that entered
But the true life it gospels,
Is a handful to make the day of a Bigwig.

Ferry the song to your songs
Make the aroma arouse inmates of life abbey
Every song is a bicker
That biffs every ingredient of normality

Dancing To Nothing At All

My love for you hides
in our first dance,
our second, our
dances in the hall
with no music and no rhythm.
It lives in the drum beat
of our hearts
where it is safe from the noise.

My love, it waits, it hopes
for our next dance,
the one after that
our last.

I want to be
the music in your life,
as you are mine.

N'ville

I want to go with you to N'ville
Get lost among the crowd
Go into the hottest clubs
Where they play the music loud
Check into a nice hotel
Stay inside a suite
Make our own sweet music there
Love to our own beat
Talk 'til late, I'll learn about
The things that make you you
And in between I'll sneak them in
A baby kiss or two

Oh Maiden Fair

OH MAIDEN FAIR

Oh Maiden Fair
On the yard in the moonlit night
Ah! Fair maiden, playing the ladle
Crossing lefts while going right
Canvas curtain covers while your bathen
Oh Maiden Fair
Under light
In the night
Beautiful maiden music you're playing
You have princes and kings falling

Not Said With Words

Heart all aflutter when she looks in my eyes
Thoughts deep inside me of claiming the prize
An intimate lesson, I teach her guitar
My arms are around her, she's forming the bar
My hand covers her hand and together we push
Til the notes resound cleanly and efforts produce
An elegant love song played effortlessly
Conveying through music that in which we agree

Background Music

Though I will play with others
They're never my first choice
With only one I want to play
My bluebird with her voice
So beautiful and warming
Like a soul enwrapping hug
I'll always dream about her
And two bugs in a rug
And even though I may play with
It's only her that I play for
I'll wait for her 'til someday
Here strumming at my door

Spa Day

Rose petals for your bed
Down pillow for your head
Silk and satin for your sheets
Soft wool slippers for your feet
Sleep in peaceful, silent bliss
May your dreams be of a kiss
From a fairy or a prince so fine
Watching o'er your dreaming mind
And sprinkling notes of music fair
Into your ears where they will flare
Up into songs of deepest love
That never fade or know thereof

Woman In My Dream

Stay and dance for awhile
in my head as I play the unheard
music you dance to upon your heel
looking like the woman in red

a far memory, woman in my dream
who eludes me each night
I kiss her lips of cream
She… fades amid the dark light

then calls out from the deep,
it’s written in stars _ upon your heart
encryption only read in my sleep
all you desire to say to me in Egyptian art.

The Change

Turn out the light
Be at peace
Allow romance's air to warm you
Commit all that resides of body and soul
Rejoice in the music of unification
Allow fear not to deny you of pleasure
This precious gift bestowed upon many
Yet, each encounter beholds its own story
Let not darkness overcast the light within you
Cherish the moment after lying in wait
Never look back with regret
Be proud to be a woman

First Rose of Summer

Sitting at my thinking spot
Sun is going down
Thoughts of you abounding
No one else around
Birds are singing happily
Joyously in flight
Maybe one of them is you
Who's come to say goodnight

Kiss me so that I can dream
Dreamy dreams of you
Come and land inside my heart
Until my days are through
Then spend part of eternity
A hundred zillion years
Singing for me, that would be
Music to my ears

Love Spell Caster

Do you hear that quiet melody?
It is my heart.
It skips a beat every time I peer into your diamond eyes.
Pitter patter calculations
Illustrious is your smile to me
The music of your laughter, I enjoy
My melodious LOVE CASTER
Yes you put a spell on me
Every bit of your exhalation is my
Inhalation my very best inspiration
I'm spell bound
Easy does it slow and steady
Tenderness tenderly you please exceptionally.

Paid In Kisses

Ask me why, go right ahead
I'll tell you why I do
Lots and lots of reasons
Why I so love you
Not centered on just beauty
Though that you've plenty of
But looks, although important
Are not the base of love

The main one, we're like-minded
Birds of a feather one would say
We share the same desires
We love to sing and play
We'd make some real fine music
In many different ways
Loving on each other
With passionate displays

As Long As I Can See You

When the lights are all off and a candle is lit
I choose the right pieces for this mood to fit
My silhouette moves to the tempos I play
I'm thinking of you in ways I can't say
From the dark of the room I whisper your name
Desire consumes me, inside me a flame
Is growing, is glowing, it wants to come out
I record this moment and silently shout
Through the music, I want you! as I continue my quest
To get it on tape for proof manifest

The First of Someday

Soft music on the radio
Slow dancing, hold you close
Bodies move in rhythm
My dear do you suppose
That right now I can kiss you?
I'm caught up in the sway
Would you receive my lips on yours
And not push me away?

I've waited for this moment
It's finally here...someday
Near you I'm rendered speechless
I have no words to say
But words no more require
Our living poem, love
Now we can build that fire
We 've both been dreaming of

Ode To Sydney's Piano

I wait here for her return silently sat
With a lonely and quiet sigh
Standing there with a lamp that
Is perched on top of my head high;

My keys ache to be
Played by her
Soft, small hands to see
Notes ringing out to stop the burr;

Different songs at played each
Time she sits down
Whether to let emotions out, to tell a speech
Or just to practice the sound;

Soft music played for her peers
Or loud music will
Echo in my ears
Until all is still...

Wind Chimes

Wind is blowing through the trees
Bluebird, are you in the breeze?
Have you come to comfort me?
To soothe my lonely heart? To see
Me smile because it's you?
I think I hear your wingbeat through
The bending of the leaves and branch
In everything you have carte blanche
I've made a nest for us to live
You relax now, let me give
You what I have, on bended knee
The music and the poetry
It's who I am, it's what I do
It's you I want to give it to

A Few Things

Hold the door open
Pull out your chair
Give you my jacket
Comb your brown hair
Cook you a banquet
Play you a song
Listen when speaking
Offer my arm

Wrap you in afghan
Slippers on feet
Make you fresh coffee
Talk to you sweet
Write you a poem
Hug you when sad
Warm up your car
Set up iPad

Help you choose music
Edit your docs
Crosswords together
Aran wool socks
Let you control
Think the world of
Respect your decisions
Quietly love

Tomorrow Today

I'd say I do tomorrow
Should the stars align
And if you wanted I'd be yours
I'd want you to be mine

I wish tomorrow were today
I crave your love so much
A tender moment waiting
Commencing with your touch

A little spark, a puff of smoke
A single dancing flame
Fed by fuel of passion
Explosions self contained

I think together we could make
Some music beautifully
You're country, folk, you're rock and roll
Yeah, you're the one for me!

Sleepless

"You put a smile on my face & i thought, how appropriate... Good friends think of you EVEN WHEN they have no idea! :)"

Music playing in the background
Mind entertaining some beautiful fantasies
Counting down the hours and smiling
Warm jovial feelings flowing within

The dawn of today will be worry-free
Birds chatting in the background
If only I could understand the exciting news they were sharing
All I want to do is wear my dancing shoes and move

But Not For Me

As the night blooms into starlight
I feel you fold into a ball behind me.
The darkness falls into shadows
Reflecting on the white sheets.
And I feel your silent tears.
They fall like raindrops
If it was sunlight you would
arc a rainbow with their flow.
But it would not be for me.
The music playing in your heart
Is orchestrated for him not me.
I feel the palpable sadness of you
And I know in quiet resignation
That I must leave you for
I can never be him.
