Pleasure Clauses

We are the only bonds of pleasure
We drink a cup of wine at night
A slave in the illusion, in the illusion of our pleasure
Don't think otherwise, don't have a heart

Alone in the night of the rush of dreams
Steps slowly in the dark
Bring your imagination with us
We are the only chains of pleasure in illusion and calamity

Another Poem To Her

You are my sun that shines
Bright in my blue skies,
The beautiful moonlight in my night sky,
The bright star that keeps my hopes alive.

To see you smile there is no impossibility
That I wouldn't dare face.
I love you indefinitely more than what
The farthest corners of your imagination can reach.

If my feelings could speak for themselves,
Then it would be, immortal words,
More beautiful than any poem or song
Ever written.

I Only Want You

Love me sweetheart, ever be
The first thing that my eyes will see
Every morning, every day
You and I together stay

Doing things, two as one
Up until the setting sun
Then take a break to watch it go
At night it's different, as we know

There's other things at night to do
And I can tell you, I want to
Imagination planting seeds
Intensifying as it needs

Tell me things you have in mind
I'll respond to them in kind
There's nothing that would be a no
I'll comply to make things flow

Night Crush

sitting across the room
room fill to capacity
music blazing my mood
soul smiling to the beat

glance at your aura
spirit felt bubbly
your smile kissed my eyes
our psyches cuddle in harmony

exchange passion comfortably
teeth was pearl fine
skin glow through dim lights
brown eyes vexed my imagination

mind wonders any attachments
no rings flexed
cell phone faced up
no interruptions

am I in luck going for the kill
our aroma entice chemistry
your nudge stir desire
thrilled our emotions spark bond

To Die

And at that moment I died.
Greeted by a single smile.
With any and everything.
Two seconds past departure.
I have given all that I have to give.
Usually there is some sort of warning.
One where imagination takes hold.
Of all the things I could give.
I find that now I have given my every and all.
Greeted by one generous smile.
Accompanied by lips that wait to pinch a heart in wait.
I died right there on the spot.
Now there's no need to wonder if tomorrow will shine as bright.
Knowing the reason I smile
No longer afraid of what dreams might bring

Fantasy Land

Would such of a fantasy be within a land made for fantasies?
Fanatics would be lined up around the corner of Candi Land
Right across Fantasy Lane
Next door to Candi Land
Would be the Candi Store
Where you could purchase such fantasies desirable
Fantasy Land would be where to go
To purchase fantasy outfits for whatever occasion
Fantasy land is where your dreams come true
If only for a night or a day
If you dream, fantasized about or visualize your imagination
Your imagination could take you to Fantasy Land
Welcome to Fantasy Land
Where your fantasies
Could come true

Where Have You Gone

You have read her words . . .

              Laughed at her lyrics

Listen to the sweet melody of her words

      But now . . .

          Now

              SILENCE

No words to fill our imagination

              Where have you gone ? ? ?

                       Come back . . .

                                                  wind-tears smote the ground

                                      grief hangs from trees

                            she is hurt

            heart-wounded

The Girl of My Dreams

Your face,
A majestic visualization of perfection,
right in front of me.
I feel like I am loosing you,
losing you to the dark unknown ,
and I do not know how to respond.
Should I be sad,
or should I feel honored to have been in your presence for so long.
We talked the day away,
it made us numb to all the faults in the world.
The cold weather reminds me of you.
It reminds me of the times that you and I were together
Now you are just a memory,
a distant figment of my imagination that I hold so very close to my heart.
I have been drinking every night,
not enough to get me intoxicated,
but enough to numb the pain of being deprived of you.
You fled,
like a criminal,
away from me just as we became inseparable.

Her Color's Colours Will Infinitely Float

all colors coat
they emit a warmth that will never fade
your memory consumes me like a misunderstood wintertime with a secret
if my imagination was an artist that could do magic, i would recreate her fully
i would not change a thing with the exception of her occasional smoking habit
i would make the greenish brown monster dissolve and dissipate
i would put wellness and the sweet, gentle lips of the inspiring vaccine on a pedistal
then i would coat all colors again and play that old country song by that lady with the potential new boyfriend
the memory would finally live forever by the end of the song and the answer to my prayer
it's a crying shame, in directly bold plaid, that tomorrow is another day....of trying to move on
yet and still....Her Color's Colours Will Infinitely Float....

Angel

All I ever wanted was to be part of your heart
for us to be together and never be apart
My fondness for you constantly deepens
because every time I hear you, my heart starts to weaken

You came to me like a pure white dove
sent directly from the heavens above
Your beauty extend into the heavens,
it goes on forever and never lessens

Your beauty seems to increase with every breath
it tests the limits my imagination can stretch
In your eyes I see our present, our future, and our past
by the way you look at me, I know we will last

I hope someday you'll come to realize
how perfect you are seen through my eyes
If I had a chance, I would choose this girl over air
for air can't compare to a girl not found elsewhere

Lethargic Gallery

"Lethargic Gallery"
by David Lustrup 2017

Amid this desolation
My blood has stopped, there is no pressure
The last sweet drop of light, is gone with you
Extinguished angels look at me, telling me goodbye
I fall from heaven’s grace
Into an endless night

Fantastic threads of light and shade
From stars that kiss the nights embrace
A thousand tears fall on the seas
In this lethargic gallery

It hurts to say that death arrives
It hurts me to the end.
Transfusion for this bone dry heart,
To fill my life again…

Swimming in hallucinations
The moonlight shines upon you now
A tragic tale of imagination
When all the stars are falling down

How will I find your light to guide me
I reach my hand from this frozen grave
I feel the wind upon my fingers
I reach for you but there’s just snow……

Ode To Being Homebound

What lovely lies,
What harsh goodbyes,
You owe nothing,
But yet they beg for just one something,
Faced with despair,
Let faith prosper,
Failure is not an option,
In two days you may be homebound
But it's been fourteen since silence and no sound,
In the mind you may be tired,
We have been up fired,
There is no expectations,
And all we have left is imagination,
Thoughts and creations,
Hoarding relations,
It is cruel,
But what to do when there really are no rules,
Lier, lier, hold no power,
To you it means nothing,
To others it's meant to be understanding,
That no words can compare to the actions you are condoning,
Just say it out, the silence,
feels like it's turning to violence,
Hatred is beginning,
As love is diminishing,
But they still hold on,
They try to stay strong,
Ode to being home bound.

Just My Imagination

Are you more than just my imagination?
Is your call only my inner, silent plea to
be released from this lonely desperation,
this hollow, unfulfilling need?

I see you walking in the fields at night
and I feel you touch me in dawn's early light.
I smell your English lavender the same as
when you were here. Is it you, really my
Dear?

Is it you who ripples the water when I am
at our favorite creek and is it you that kisses
the tears from my cheek? It can't be just my
imagination for I feel you are here, who else
would have followed me throughout all these years.

Is it you my Love or just my Imagination?

                                                                               Sharon Gulley

Social Anxiety

I think love is a lot like us.
In truth, it's hard.
At least for me. To reach into my heart and pull each thought
Like some sort of note, to resort to the most simplistic of notion.
It all seems so simple.
To walk up towards the one we love and tell them how we truly feel.
At least for me.
To be honest I don't think it's entirely the thought of being rejected.
But the actual declaration and the realization that everything that you hope and dream
stares back at you and it's not reciprocated where imagination meets reality.
At least for me.
Reaching back into my heart and scrambling around for another note.
The small things in an ocean of thought that could go wrong.
The sudden rush of thoughts that prevent such circumvention.
The first step of telling you that I love you.
At least for me.
Seeing your face again, makes it so much easier.
Knowing that you would never let me drown

Could It Be?

sometimes i wonder if she knows
what she's asking or what she shows
i look at her and my imagination runs wild
mostly when she looks at me and ask
to talk a while

a precious delicate flower
waiting for her chance to bloom
and i a worthy less pretender looking
for more than i'll ever ask for

as each day passes
i think of her more and more
and wonder if she thinks of me
as a man or as a bore

she doesn't know that i appreciate
the way she is
nor does she see me watching her
(when ever i get the chance)

wishing to be a part of her life
that part that lives
that part that gives
that part that she can claim as
undeniably hers
with love for her too much for words

( this goes way back ; long before poetrysoup ever existed. the old fashin way, on paper, to
old girl friends, or girls i had an enfactuation on at the time. as you can see i haven't
changed a bit. john)

Promise Not

Last night I stayed up counting every time that I've wished for you.
Then I came to my senses that there wasn't a need to wish anymore.
Then I came to the realization that I inhale you with each thought.
That I've come to trust the hours I spend talking to you about any and everything.
Finding your smile in perfect company.
Allowing myself to be the circumstance that makes your cheeks rise the most.
In vivid imagination. Seeing you before I close my eyes.
Truth is last night I stayed up making countless wishes to reassure that what I wished for the most stayed in the countless hours that we spend talking to each other.
The adventures we take traveling through each other's mind.
Finding it much easier to breathe with each mile we hike.
Even if I have to hold my breath until my face turns blue.
Thank you for giving me the breath of you, I appreciate each and every moment that you do.
And I promise not to exhale until the next breath is presented

Thinking of His Lady

My lover and my friend,
My lady and my queen,
The forefront is where you live
You're not an afterthought to me.

I love you like a sister,
I see you as my equal,
I love to show you off
And let you shine in front of people

You're everything I like,
A dream is what I see,
My imagination, manifested,
And standing in front of me.

You're more than just a toy
And much more than just a body,
What we have is something deep,
It's not just a hobby.

This is not just what I do
To entertain me when I'm bored,
I respect you as a person,
It's not just my needs anymore

I care what you think
And I consider how you feel,
I value your opinion,
Because what you say is always real.

You're a real person, not a prop
And I'm so glad I found you,
I'll always keep you at the top,
Protected, with my love all around you.

My lover and my friend,
My number one priority.
The forefront is where you live,
Because that's the way that it should be.

Onge-Body-Justice

See I’m trapped in that Onge-Body-Justice
My imagination changes her body images
And simply creates my ultimate Onge-Body-Fantasies
I can literally see my skin tattooed to yours
And feel my blood pressure pause
Your eyes captivating mines
I’m weakened by the curves of your thighs
My tongue indulging the pair north of your hips
Up to your divine, secretive yet seductive lips
Lost in the waves of your body flawless in nature
The touch of your hands screaming ecstasy
The density of this chemistry so heavenly
In-between pauses gasping for air - breathlessly
See I’m captured in that Onge-Magic
Thoughts too dramatic, yet so ecstatic, I’m an Onge-Fanatic
I’m talking experience of mystic self-transcendence
See I’m intrigued by that Onge-Sex-Appeal
A glance of unique, exquisite, prestige beauty
In the face of reality
I find myself in the presence of a beautiful soul
Complimented by her Onge-Body-Justice
Onge-Body-justice
So refreshingly Onge-Fantastic.

Whispers In the Willows

Close your eyes my love
and let your imagination run wild;
for hear me whisper such beauty
in your ear,
hear the whispers in the willow trees,
as they sway from side to side;
as the rolling, green hill faces
smile at us,
as I kiss you upon the cheek,
as we hold hands my sweet,
as I pick a thousand roses for you
and we go to the willow tree
and rest awhile,
listening to the whispering wind,
sing a sound with the willow trees.

Here the chimes tanging
and listen close to "I love you,"
catch it fast and hold on to it,
close to your heart,
and hear it beat to the sound of a drum
deep in your breast.

Hear me my love,
smell those roses I pick for you,
it shall surpass that my love is true,
listen to the whispers of my heart,
that I direct toward you,
My sweet rose,
my lovely babe,
my darling daisy,
my violet,
my lilac,
my willow tree, which sings a song of love
with the whispers of the wind,
and the soft whispers of my heart.

The Magnificent Reality

Dollar bills tucked inside her back pocket
She scans the list for her favorite flavor chocolate
Vanilla, strawberry, lime and lust
None for you, says the black panther in disgust

Imagination, alcoholic mind
He’s not real, not so unkind
Harbored anger, elegance and class
Tools of manipulation that can not last

Sophisticated lady wearing her sex like a crutch
Stomping her cross as her diseased mind instructs
A poised, refined and dying flower
A box of secrets where she dips for power

Care - fullll whispers the winking cat
Money is against God - you surely know that
And inside this insane dream
You can’t even get your favorite ice cream

Poland, Africa, Egypt and Greece
She searches and seeks for her Golden Fleece
Dreams from a barstool wrapped up in smoke
But what will I do? She finally chokes

Breathe - look inside - be humble - and true
There is love and grace waiting for you
Sweep up your defects, turn them inside out
Hold them - watch them - it’s ok to doubt

Step one, step two, step three and four
Hopscotch your way up, there’s plenty more
Your not alone but you need to show
Just how far you’re willing to go

Distinctly

Distinctly it was all the way from here to there and over near
(Far from the naked eyes illusions)
more than it seems or less as,
(Illusions may differ from all)
sounds igniting more than,
(Illusions interact with sounds, is it so or just in the mind)
noises bouncing from there to here,
(Sound ultimately bounce from wavelengths but from where)
lights surrounding more than,
(Imagination run wild as allowed to)
headlights here and there,
(Are they headlights or are they suppose to appear as inclined)
Flashlights glaring off eyeglasses,
(from the form of ones primitive mind to actuality may be indescribable yet )
Vibration of movements livid
(Livid as movement are, makes one
under analysis very distinctive to another yet illusions of the naked eye dare not take a walk in the mind of said so subjective)
Distinctly times of the day
( differ for anyone of nature for as humans one may be considered distinctly distinctive, but from who, or whom, or from what)
Distinctly it was all the way from here, there and yonder to try another different approach yet what will tomorrow bring and after next day and continuing to the next, then what is next, distinctly?

Perfect Intuition

Your eyes is an invitation.
To a beautiful attraction,
To a mysterious connection,
And to the feeling of passion

At first, it's not an intention
That eyes had their intersection;
But due to it's repetition
It all revealed our intention

Eye contact is our expression!
That shows our deepest emotion,
With the words we cannot mention
Do you feel the same affection?

Every time our eyes had friction,
It stops every certain action,
Including the worlds rotation,
And even the time and motion

Its my perfect intuition
Its not an imagination
Even without interaction
I know we have a connection

Wordless signs are confirmation
That we both felt an affection
We are in the same direction
A beautiful correlation

Shyness is an implication
Of the love we want to mention
Through oral communication
We will get all the solution

I want to break the diversion
Like our cold awkward connection
Cause I want a close relation
Not just classmates in this section

Converse with determination
In a span of short duration
I move without hesitation
Between us is aspiration

Your yes serves as my creation
Your no serves as my destruction
Regardless of your decision,
Loving you is my completion

How Do You Have Time To Be So Charming

Oh Romeo ' where out thou is the first of all thoughts
how do you have the time to enchant ones soul
your words of sheer beauty come so easily for you

There must be Juliet at home in her heart only for you does her passion grow
Yes you are charming and very witty as though you have lived many lives
many lives over and over again, to seduce with words you control

you are one with imagination
you are one of God's creations

still I am left to wonder
how many loves you have written too

In writing I love and in writing I can shed my thoughts
never wishing to hurt another's soul
for it is she I wish you stay , her tears do not flow

respectfully thinking of how romantic you are
careful not to be caught in a tornado of thoughts throughout my day
I am here to write not be captivated by your magic spell weaved

There's a Juliet I must imagine , beautiful , loyal , most stunning , waiting for you
In love she cooks she bakes , she lives she awaits
For how could one like you not have found true love .

How do you find the time in the day , to love so gracefully in words shared
My thoughts are taken for minutes of the day with you I am impaired
You know who you are don't you , you must , how many hearts have thou Broken Oh Romeo , through desire and lust .
