Best Scaffold Poems
They whisper in hush tones
stealing glances askance
furtive and guilty
with their pant and skirt down.
He had walked in
when they were at it
he had built a lot of trust
that snapped phut.
But the snap was not fresh
this was a pretty old crash
for now he grinned ear to ear
and saluted the lucky guy.
And said thanks for sweeping
and the sleeping that I could not afford
here is my new bed
that's is really one,
and not a scaffold.
Across the street, on scaffold rigs,
Construction workers hover
And if they’d glance my way, this is
What they just might discover:
A bedroom filled with books and pictures
All in frames of black,
A quilted bed and clutter
I’ve been meaning to attack.
And then, of course, upon a chair,
The other sight they’d see,
With pad and pencil, jotting words,
A rhyming poet – me!
i think i think too much and as of such i write
way to much and so no one can read it all
so so many i enjoyed writing hoping they
would be liked get shuffled in the deck of
only 10 every 24 hours. but i also realize that
i take no time to refine perhaps define my words
instead of a blurt a slobber a slur most times
just to get a laugh which i most love about life
so please dear reader before you go onto the
next twenty written forget them, i've only every
deleted one poem off my list, and so they will
be there waiting for you if you want to keep
reading me- THANKS ALL for support i've
only been on this site for about 11 months
but love what i have read; love what i see with
comments, and since i belong to no other
source of social media, PoetrySoup is my
sounding board so please throw any rocks
or comments and I'll be sure to respond.
TAKE CARE leading up to a more then HAPPY
NEW YEAR!!!!!!!
Life can be a struggle
Yet still we have those highs
But for many there are low points too
And that’s where sadness lies.
The ups and downs are standard
Part the tapestry of life
However for just some of us
The extremities are rife
With feelings of elation
And of depths of dark despair
So still through times of empty
We’re expected to be there
For others who need succour
And unconditional love
Just need someone to be there
Like the hand fits in the glove
In time we come to find out
Who is there for us to hold
Our dear supporting network
Who can be our true scaffold

SCAFFOLD DISAPPEARED
Scaffold disappeared, and it was a different morning
Sunlight has never threatened me ever like that
I can imagine how terrible winter is awaiting
while the sun is not a good friend.
Wind drops without an obstacle, cold and hard
I can easily see him standing a little future away
In an empty sand field wounded and bloody.
