Clutched tight to my chest, the doll smiles lifelessly
sending vacant stares down the darkened hall.
A solitary line of pink light sneaks through a crack in the door.
Fighting tears hanging loosely in my eyes, I listen.

“Please tell daddy that I love him and miss him.”
It has been two months since he died. Long, hard months.
“Keep him safe.”
His smell still lingers on his clothes in the closet.
“and bless mommy to be happy…”
How can I be happy, or even smile, when all I want is to be numb?
The tears burn in my eyes, but I can’t cry, or I might never stop.
“so that she will play with me like she used to”
I can scarcely recall the last time I was able to focus; to give her all my attention.
“help her to forgive me,”
Oh sweet baby, it’s I who needs your forgiveness.
“help her to love me again, even though sometimes I’m bad”
Oh God, is that what she thinks!?
“and please help me to find dolly so she won’t be scared tonight”
Ok, focus…just breathe.
“in Jesus name I pray, Amen.”

Clutched tight to my chest, the doll smiles lifelessly
sending vacant stares into the room lit by a solitary pink lamp.
I sneak through the door, with tears rolling down my cheeks,
and enter with a promise, that all her prayers will get answered.

When I take my last step from this stage,
and my final curtain falls.
Grant to me the wonder
of Heaven's hallowed halls.
Take from me my hat of guilt,
my overcoat of strife.
Lift me from this burden
I've carried through my life.
Let me gaze upon the wonder
of the final, wondrous mountain.
Let me bathe within the waters
of the pure, clear crystal fountain.
For I shall pay the ferryman
my final worthless shilling,
and ask that He should hold me,
if He should be so willing.

Unique is the discipline of love
Understanding God's law
Faith holds supreme commander

Sometimes we have to fight
our way through a concrete jungle
stone cold dreams nightmare evaluates

Rocking the cradle unworthy desires
no peace or rest for the wicked deeds
in order to find the answers to hopes prayer

Truth pointing us directions
within our code of moral conduct
which supports us in our voyage

In the walk of life chaos grips hearts consumed with hate
Without faith our souls identity will become dust
Needing hugs from heaven to survive

        GOD

Wondrous of many blessings.
Smiling never a frown.
My prayers, Lord, are suddenly being ignored.
I've taken a tumble of fallen down
Lord, my life was plain and simple
How did it come to this?
Lord, now I carry a burden so deep
A torn up life not easy to fix
Hard to get my prayers before I sleep
Bleeding only internally!
Feeling very minutely!
God, have you deserted me or is it me who deserted you?

God, my Lord, my savior, how could you abandon me?
Must I drown in my own sorrow?
Must I wake up like this today and tomorrow.
Why have you left me, or is it me who left you?

God, I need you like never before.
When I wake up,
When I head out the door.
Tormented in a mood ring of stock
Heavily my tears hit the floor.
God, do you not feel me, or is it me who no longer feel you?

God, what is your plan for me?
What things did I not see?
I asked for you to forgive me in my ways of sin.
Why do you let him provoke me?
Lord, I forbid for him to win.
Relieve me from his gutless pain.
God, do you not believe me, or is it me who no longer believe in you?

God, do you not hear my call
My pitiful excuses make me weak and small
In your eyes, I no longer feel tall
I remain cursed in every single fall
Lord, only you can break this wall
Do you not see me on my knees
Must I beg and crawl?
I am at your mercy, crying out with grief
Open the path to the lighted hall
O' Lord, the day you judge me before your throne
Please tell me it was a lesson for me to stand up on my own
God for now I will end this talk
With the dignity to never look back
I ask if you were there on my endless journey of a relentless walk?

Love more, when it is hardest to love.
Show compassion, always.
Be kind when deserved or not.
Be patient, when you are at the end of your rope.
Smile, when you are saddest.
Pray when you are at your lowest.
Thank God when you are at your highest.

The night lingers, yawning,
Stretching its limbs across the sky;
It lies there so silently, so languidly
As if awaiting the early rays of morning
To come by- I wake-
I wake to the sounds of silence and
Like the night, I linger in my bed.
Nothing appears to me but darkness-
Darkness that twirls a million times
‘round my head.

Upon these cold, air-conditioned tiles
I find myself walking so slowly, almost
Crawling into the darkness.
I hear my head talking- talking so loudly
Even amidst all this silence.
How am I to know- how am I to know
Whether or not this whole night is but a dream?
A mere dream so trivial that it almost wakes me
And makes me part of its darkness.

From my window I see the night-
I see it lying there, painting all other
Windows with dark threads of sleep.
I even feel my eyes getting heavier,
Yet something-
Something endeavors to keep
Me awake through this night.
I continue to stare outside my window
Still listening to the haze of my thoughts.
How come all that is should be? And
Why are you, you and simply not me?
It seems that this darkness is not willing
To part away from me.

( Pause)

A voice- a voice recites its calmness through
This night and slowly approaches my
Window. I see it- I see it coming
My way, touching
My window, stroking the
Darkness away.
My thoughts once again begin to bellow
And say:
How come all that is should be?
And why are you, you and simply not me?

I succumb to the voice, regardless-
And deem my thoughts forgone.
On my window it slides- the voice-
Almost so artistically drawn. I stand upright,
Facing away from the night which has now
 Become withdrawn-
I slowly kneel down, whispering prayers to
The cold-tiled ground
And finally it comes- Dawn.

Inspired by a Al Fajr Prayer which is the Arabic for Dawn.

Often, i have spoken with you
about urgent thoughts pillaging
my restless heart. During limbo
of midnight’s shadow, my knees
grate in rage when your songs
do not come to wrap my hands.
Do i know your seas and the Calvary
that put a stake unto your unbidden love?

I know, I sometimes never dared
travel inside the tides of your eyes
soulful and caressing the silk of light,
the damp powder of tears
hanging on winds tormented and
tamed by soaked loaves of discontent.

You did die for me, dear Jesus,
letting my seedless wisdom
gush into flakes of pride… Still, you--
barefoot on a road of parched lands--
climb unto height of rivers, the mounds
of earth offering your mercy unknown yet
known if only through the glory of
your pricked crown. All these for me
and all of creation you so cherished.

I shall but enter the serenity of your
eyes and gather my faith; then,
walk again and live for you instead...
And so it is through your grace.

You so desperately
Want to be understood
So I wonder
Why
Why do you
Hold back
So much of yourself

I see him digging
Chipping at your edges
Wondering what's behind the facade
He waits between your breaths
Ponders your pauses
Looks for answers
Pardons your harshness

He sees beyond the obvious
Is aware of your audible sadness
The place no one touches
Imperceptibly he reaches
Pushes past your protective
To the deeper you
The precious part
The unknown softness
The magnificence of you
The inner art
The revelation
of an unsequestered heart

For in letting go
You can be freed
Reach out for his hand
Let him take the lead
For he deserves
all of you
You deserve
all of him too
I see
I understand
I know
It's hard to let go
He's patient and will move slow
If you both want it
Love will grow
And you will be
Truly
Finally
Understood

          Hush! Raise
          not your voice high
          to praise

          the Lord,
          because you can
          afford

          to please,

One day I was passing time
And wrote these words upon the lines,
I know not where they came you see
The Winds of Time were there for me.

If I could open a door to the past
And there before me were the paths
I'm not quite sure which I would choose
But The Winds of Time would see me through.

The vastness there before God's Hand
Then came the heavens, the seas, the land
Eden, Noah and the Christ Child's birth
Is the path that I see first.

I'm not into Knights or dragon days,
Nor Robin Hood and his saving ways,
But give me a Viking as he crosses the seas
And I'll dream of the lands so wild and free.

The music of Irland calls to me,
Where Kathleen's heart has ever been,
And for Danny Boy the fifes do call
I'll shed my tears lest he should fall.

As Immigrants touched upon our shores
The Indians prepared to fight once more,
But fate stepped in and eased the sore
They'd live in peace forever more.

The battles fought upon this land
To protect us from Tierney's hand,
The Civil War for Freedom's right
The Alamo where comrades died.

At Little Big Horn where our soldiers died,
As Indians defend their homes with pride,
The government later took a hand
And put them on Reservation land.

I remember well, when I was quite young
The days of World War II
And how my father's life did change
When the family business he assumed.

Twenty-four seven was unheard of then,
But that was their working day,
They helped keep our nations trucks on the road
Their battlefield was here in the USA.

I'll choose the path with pastures green,
Horses, cattle and the cowboy scene,
This is the land of my mother's birth
The most precious land to me on earth.

I chose this land and took a stand,
Married a cowboy and we ranched the land.
Though now retired and family gone
This land will always be our home.

The Winds of Time, know well my soul
I'll rest at night with days of yore.
And as I wake a prayer I'll say
Please God, may we have Peace today?

Dear lord in heaven hear me I pray
Thank you for the blessing of this beautiful day
I know in your heart lord you wish only peace
I pray man will hear you and hatred will cease.

You feel betrayed lord Man did not heed your word
You spoke of love but man never heard
Today we worship riches, Diamonds and gold
For the price of a dollar our souls have been sold.

We make bullets and bombs lord to help us make war
Spread terror and hatred,Refusing to follow your law
For all of our sins lord I pray you will forgive
Help us to stop fighting and dying , Teach us to live.

Teach us compassion , Teach us to care
To look after each other in this world we share
Then as we learn lord please walk by our side
Help us to look after the living things you provide.

Mother nature is awesome full of beauty and grace
Teach us to respect her and put a smile on her face
This is my prayer lord, Thank you for listening to me
Forever in your light I will walk happily.
Amen

Like a leaf in the wind
Floating through this realm of time
Whither I go, this knowledge eludes
And 'though I know who bloweth the wind
At times my troubled heart does quake
Over rugged mountains, through raging storms
Tossed and battered against lofty walls
Too high to scale or infiltrate
When strength is wane and hope is dim
Questions abound as to why here and now?
All left unanswered, without a clue
So best to withdraw and heart be stilled
Live reliant upon His will divine
With prayer a constant upon my lips
In solitude and peace, my spirit blends
Carried here like a leaf in the wind

Lord, we come together today to give Thanks
To you for all your many blessings.
We Thank you, for our family and for our friends,
For our jobs, and for our homes.
We Thank you for our health and for the health of our children.

Lord, we come together to ask you to forgive our sins,
Forgive our vanity, our greed, and
We ask you to give us the strength to forgive our enemies
And to give us compassion for the poor.

Most of all Lord, we are gathered together in praise
And fellowship and remembrance.
Bless our homes and our countries
Keep us safe and keep us humble.

Amen.

They are in meaningless session again
Not seeking to serve but to practice the deception
Not seeking to lead but to mislead
Taking black and white, creating gray
Don't wave that flag if you do not honor it
Oppression by omission. You have given
                  NOTHING
But rights to the dissidents and wrongs to the citizens
Hear me now
I cannot replace the spine you're missing
               ONE NATION UNDER GOD
If you cannot accept you cannot lead
If you cannot lead you are the problem
                    THE FAILURE
Authorizing condemnation and treason
Banning prayer and patriotism
Once filled with victory and pride
Now mired in failure
Represent or resign, serve or secede
Make a stand for once or fall forever
We no longer will tolerate
                   YOUR FAILURE
One nation UNDER GOD.

Dear beloved
I close my eyes and whisper to the breeze
That wherever you are, you be in so much ease
And that eternal joy, and a good rest, you they give a kiss

Dear kids
Here I kneel
In the middle of the empty forest, accompanied only by bushes and trees
And I pray, that you get all big round juicy bliss to keep

Dear friend
I open my arm on the silent beach
And hope that the ocean accompany with wails of prayers for thee
In all my wish, of the body, heart, and mind, with smiles I call for you to heal

Dear siblings
Here I always pray, as for mother and father, so for thee
An auspicious fulfilments for your dreams
With many such happy years for you to see

Dear reader
I pray for you the best, as you read
And for you a share of luxuries and bliss
Coupled with sweet vanilla flavoured peace

Lord I came to you empty handed.
No prayer book today.
I ask myself what shall I pray to you
without the help of compositions
written by people much better than I?

I know you do not really care
what I recite from books,
especially when such prayers
are quickly read not meditated,
with distractions all around.
For my mind keeps wandering
on inconsequential things,
or very often concentrated
on frivolous supplications for me.

But now I am at loss.
What should I pray?
Let's see Lord if I can think.
For look, this world is evil.
Please forgive our hardheartedness.
Do not look upon our wrongs,
but rather receive our good.
In this respect O Lord,
I offer you your Son,
His tattered body on the cross,
His royal blood shed to the last drop.
I offer you His Soul and Divinity,
in atonement of our sins
and those of the whole world.
For we are all your children Lord,
and without your help we are mere failures.

There Lord, I can say no more.
Please accept my offering.
And may I hope next time
I won't forget my prayer book?
Or should I?

May God place his hand,
In your hand today, Dane Ann,
And see you safely on your way.
May God guide the surgeon’s hands.
May the rest of us pause to pray.
A VETERAN is having surgery today.
So please God, have an angel,
Stand by Dane’s bed today.

Prayer for the City

Dear God,
How heavy are my thoughts tonight!
I feel the ills of the city, pressing, pressing.
For all the young people being arrested, right now.
Lord, hear my prayer.
For a hand lifting in anger toward another
For the body that prostitutes to feed the need
For all those in captivity of any kind
Lord, hear my prayers.
For the protecting of a child in danger
For the sacred souls in all children
Lord, hear my prayers
For those who sit under bridges, doorways and plastic bags
Lord, hear my prayer
For every siren wail and 911 call
For every doctor waging war with a bullet or knife hole
Lord, hear my prayers
For every noisy, cramped, dysfunctional, roach infested house where
a flower blooms,
Lord, hear my prayer.

My old daddy use to tell me about the war he had to fight,
He said don’t believe those movies, cause killing ain’t no pretty sight.
He said no one is born a hero you just fight to stay alive,
Cause when those bullets start to flying your only thought is to survive.

No matter what people may say, freedom it don’t come free,
And I pray you never see the things that I had to see.
And he said son the taste of freedom is a taste worth dieing for,
And that should be the only reason to ever fight in those damned old wars.

He talked about his comrades, so many now are gone,
He said I am a lucky one to see my son full grown.
So many young men back then were buried where they fell,
You see son war is not a game it’s a living, breathing hell.

You’re fighting for what you know is right and they are fighting for what they believe,
While mothers on both sides just pray and weep and grieve.
And when they get that letter that says their son will not return,
They say one last prayer for others, Lord will they ever learn.

To say you really hate someone is a truly ruthless thought,
But there are those that feel that way and why these wars are fought.
Son he said I don’t think there will ever be peace as long as men exists,
Freedom is our gift and we must protect no matter how much they persist.

Heroes of my age in their morning mourn,
Filled with teardrops of pain and sorrow,
They'll be now part of the epic history,
But the cloudiness of who ones's fault still remains a doubt for justice,
When all lies in secrecy,
Can we blame peace and harmony?
Where we are all thirsty.

The masters of war behind the walls,
Safe and sound from the bullets of death,
The heroes in order and duty,
When guns can't do anything for victory,
When bullets can't do anything for survival,
They hide behind the seeds, behind the prayers
Behind the first fallen hero.

They, who are grabby for one's life, for one's blood,
Thirsty for distraction of one's covenant,
They, who pulled the trigger, who ought killing is a game,
Shooting one's body as if a little toy,
Like the Trojan war of old, was trapped and deceived.
Will their consciences arrest them?
Will forgiveness forgives them?
When they will die?

In service, for security the heroes died,
To sacrifice one's life in the name of duty,
A peace we wish is a peace they're yearning?
Or an inside job for another piece of power?
Who knows, we only care
But the Man can see them behind their masks,
Through their eyes, inside their brains.

The agony and heartaches they leave behind,
The scars that'll bleed for justice and life,
For the woman of love, alone in coldest times,
Somehow tears may dry by the aging of time.
For the cries of baby longing for daddy,
Searching for brawny arms that will lift them,
The baritone voice that will laugh with them.
Now change of path, life will never be the same,
The light will also be now the wall.

All will pass, all will calm like an ocean after the storm,
But justice still pursuits justice, must not hide from another demise,
Will give them the truth? Will the lives be not wasted?
Afraid for this will be one of the unresolved cases,
Repeats the failure of my Country,
Their coffins, their graveyards, in memoirs for the heroes
Once the stewards of us, once the fathers of Country
Worthy of prayers -for them, for families and for justice.
We salute the Fallen!

If the Lord isn't for me, why do I live?
If the Lord does not bless me, why am I here?
If the Lord isn't for me, why am I here?
If the Lord does not bless me, why do I live?

I know I am a sinner repressed.
I know I am saved through prayer.
On bended knees, I am as a child of God.
As I grew older, I lifted my head up to clouds.
Somehow, my path swayed.

If the Lord does not anoint me, why do I sing?
If I am not blessed via his blood, why do I live?

Nobody knows my troubles better then Lord does.
My life is enshrined because of the omnipotent.
Through a sacred path, I seek the Lord guidance.
Redeemed through his grace, I worship and praise.

If the Lord does not guide me, why do I live?
If the Lord does not supply my needs, why am I here?

I know I am a sinner repressed.
I know I am saved through prayer.
On bended knees, I am as a child.
As I grew older, I hoisted my head up to sky
Somehow, my path swayed but now, my life is saved.

If I am not a crusader for the Lord, why am I here?
If I am not on the battlefield for the Lord, why am I here?

Nobody knows my troubles better then Lord does.
My life is transmogrified because of the omnipotent.
Through a sacred path, I seek the Lord guidance.
Redeemed through his grace, I give the Lord God the highest praise.

To My Redeemer...

If the Lord isn't for me, why do I live?
If the Lord does not bless me, why am I here?
If the Lord isn't for me, why am I here?
If the Lord does not bless me, why do I live?

I AM YOUR SERVANT I adore You Oh God, my King and my God, The Most Powerful among all... I am Your servant Father God I want nothing but to follow You Tomorrow Oh Father God Coat us with the Holy Blood of Your Son Jesus Christ Father God, I acknowledge that You alone is the greatest source of wisdom, strength and guidance. Tomorrow Father God, me and my brothers and sisters in Christ will walk and try in every way to win souls as one Father God, we will try to seek for the lost, empty and sick as one Father God, we will share our life testimony this the life changing experience we have had since the day we accepted You as our God as one Oh Father God, we will be united in one will and one mission this is to widen Your kingdom We will do this by sharing Your gift of salvation and healing Oh Father God, I ask You humbly to fill us Cleanse and purify our hearts and minds Allow us to be worthy in partaking this task Sent unto us Your Holy Spirit to empower us I believe oh Father God that if one or two is gathered under Your Name You are in the midst of them I invite Your presence to engulf our beings Open our spiritual eyes to see those who needs you most Open our ears to be sensitive to Your living words--our bread of life Open our hands to give the best of what we have to serve You and I believe anything we will do for Your greater glory You will refill You said to Your words You will provide us everything Open our hearts and minds so that we may fully understand the preaching Oh Father God, Your servant is not a good speaker but I believe Father God, thru Your Divine POWER You will anoint me and so the words that will come out from my mouth are the words You want us to know Oh Father God, Your servant is not a singer but I believe Father God You will lead me. You will not much care on how my voice is. The most You will care about is the voice of my heart. You will care on the purity of my intentions for You know that I am singing a song to lift Your Name on high, To give You praise, To bring You glory and to bless Your Holy Name. I sing songs to thank You and to express my love on You. Oh Father God, Your servant is not "somebody" but I believe Father God You will make a "somebody" or "nobody" be "someone" under Your Name Like King David in the Holy Bible the youngest, the shepherd but You made Him the man closest to Your Heart Like Paul and Peter whom scared you turned them as two of Your greatest apostles. Oh Father God we rely on You, We seek Your presence in us Allow us to wear Your armour: a helmet that is Your salvation a belt that is the truth a breastplate that is righteousness a shield that is a fortified faith a pair of shoes that is Your living Words a sword that is Your Holy Spirit dwelling in us. I am thirsty and hungry for Your presence in my life. I know You alone can fill the holes still present in me. I offer myself as Your servant Father God speak to me, speak to me reveal to me, reveal to me tell me more, tell me more... Amen. ___________________________________________________________ O.E. The sweetest sounds of burning trees
A gentle stroking in the breeze
The calm has lasted past the storm
Cloudy visions, Satan’s roar
Too many sights have passed my way
A time found only in the haze
The softest screams are running bare
My aching bones creak as I stare

You walk a distance towards me
The fall’s eternal, can’t you see?
I’m a memory in your heart
I whisper to you in the dark

The battle’s started at the end
No one is coming to repent
The sinners grab their wine from prey
No judgment calling here to stay
The sport is reckless to be told
The one is laughing at his souls
It falters nowhere to be sure
The power grows forevermore
Like a spirit in the wind
I have no say in where you’ve been
But cross the line to come to me
And pay the price for ecstasy

You walk a distance towards me
The fall’s eternal, can’t you see?
I’m a memory in your heart
I whisper to you in the dark.

Clothe me with your mercy that my heart may melt Clothe me with your light; let your love be felt Clothe me with your peace, we have yet to understand... And when I am called, Lord, clothe me with your joy when before you, I stand ~*~

In the name of blood, for it is the source of life itself,
Plasma's crimson essence of liquid infusion, to the undead's
Pulsating heart.
Intravenously feeding cravings passion, through the carotid
Artery at the throat of humanity, thou'st not love, suffer
The pleasure indulge the pain, the out come shall be the same,
To be embraced by the black ebony arch angel of death,
Release thy darker side, let the instinctual behavior of the beast,
Know freedoms unshackling at last.
Become one of his sacred disciples, a creature of his dark dimension,
A kindred being, unto the legion of the night.
In the moon's elliptical light, shadows thus move from
Left to right, shifting as transparent figures, phantoms of
Illusions, taking winged flight, soaring on the currents
Of air mingling with their ancestral brethren, the vampire bat.
Run does not the lone wolf, along the side path next to man,
As we do so walk amongst them, yet never attempting to belong.
Oh are we not the a shunned, the accursed, by a God known
For his forgiveness, to love all living things under
Heaven, but for us this mightiest of lords, turns
His gaze away, not acknowledging our existence.
Our we not his lost sheep, missing from his flock, why
Does not this Sheppard seek this black lamb’s wool,
Is it too coarse for weaving's wheel, as it spins thus
And is it not said that he created all life within his image.
Nay I pray this vamperic prayer, why has he abandon
Us, the darker of his creations.
Behold the unascended, begging to enter beyond the gates
Of light, children of the lost are we, seeking a father blind
To his responsibility.
Harvesting, by the basic instincts given unto us,
Taking only what we need to survive, for this he has turned
Against us, and thus taking the light of day with him.
So my father of damnation's hell, has offered salvation's
Darker domain as a sheltering harbor of comfort, I will not
Abstain his patronage.
For I am the ashunned, living by the moonlight's haunting glow,
Yet yearning to see one last horizons sunset, but the Holy Father,
Hears not my humble vamperic prayer.

"A world of trials and tribulations carried underneath the sun.
He stands by his woman as she by her man bound together as one.
Instilled with Prayer and Faith along with God's grace.
Power of both will never let anyone take their place."
