This pledge that l,Ntando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed l am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only lie
in word alone but in action as well.

For that reason in every season
I shall show steadfast commitment
to the implementation of this pledge
with a great deal of astuteness.
I therefore commit myself to be your
devoted and delivering husband for
all the years l shall live with you
on this earth.

I shall treat you with the love and care
you deserve as my wife.
Indeed l shall treat you with
the distinction and dignity
that is befitting of the queen of my heart.
That body, that bone, that breath
shall be my mine to treasure,
for sure;
a dearness to promote and protect
for dear life…and love!
I shall stand by and with you in all the
situations of our life.
If the situation demands that we sail,
sail we shall together.
If the situation demands that we
climb,
climb we shall together.

I know very well what l am getting into:
I am getting into a marriage that is
overflowing with blessings.
This marriage- with our mutual
commitment-
will stand the test of time.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
brims over with a transforming power
of love.

This marriage-with our
mutual commitment –
will transform naivety into maturity
troubles into challenges
pretence into practice
pride into progress
bachelorship into companionship.
I pledge to be your steward and partner
for all times.

I shall value the consultations
and decisions that we make as
husband and wife.
As head of the family I shall do nothing

to derail our love train for anything else
least of all for personal and selfish reasons.
Now and forever

I am your lawful and loving husband…
This pledge that l, Nothando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed I am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only
lie in pronouncements but in practice
as well.

For this reason every season
I shall demonstrate untiring love
and loyalty to you;
a love and a loyalty that is a living
embodiment of our marriage vows.
I therefore commit myself to be your
honouring, supportive and loving wife
for all the years l shall live with you.
I shall treat you with the love and care
that you deserve as my husband.
Indeed I shall treat you with
the dignity and nobility that is befitting
of the king of my heart.
On my mind it is always fresh
that I am the flesh of your flesh.
Green or grown

I am the bone of your bone.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
elevates me into a kingdom of wifehood.
I shall endevour to put my family first
with all the rights, obligations
and privileges that come with wifehood.
I shall endevour to wipe off and ward off
loneliness and lostness from our relationship,
seeking nothing but your companionship;
banking on your stewardship,
sinking together any hardship.
Since you are mine
I shall not do anything else to undermine
our relationship for personal
or egotistical
reasons.
Now and forever
I am your lawful and loving wife…

Obsessed with the thought of you
wondering if it's only me or
if you sometimes remember the sweet things you've said
and if you meant them how I took them
or if I'm just obsessed with what's in your head

Obsessed with your very sentences
Every response I take personal
I know it's selfishness
Have you not noticed my eyes?
They hold secrets that only you can unlock
if you'd just take time to fill the thick juices of my pride
It's just boiling with lust, passion, trust and distrust
and other things I obsess over so much

I find myself writing to free myself from this prison I've created
where only you and I reside
I become confused about what I'm really feeling inside and I
try to rid the thoughts that are highly debated as false and I
begin to cry and
think of casting love spells so that the universe can deliver this affair
I know it's unfair
but I don't care

I'm obsessed with what hasn't happened between us
I'm obsessed with your heart and that the fact that
I don't think you've even noticed my selfish innuendos
and secret undertones that blatantly express my lust
Or maybe you have and you calmly remain in resistance of distrust
If you could only read my mind by simply touching my fingertips,
I'm sure I'd catch you out the corner of my eye biting your bottom lip
I'm obsessed with the passion and thoughts I think you have
Obsessing over an experience that I may never have....

Song of a Warrior’s Bride

He counts on me for beauty:
His eyes blurred by bloody spurts of war,
Scarred by deadly blasts of bone
And tissue, his vision marred
By chunks of men that shook him down
Into the oozing mud of sorrow,
And unscrewed the sockets of his soul,
Blasting windows that once shone luminous,
Into dark pools of madness, mocking
The watch he had to keep that night.

He stopped his ears against
The final cries of men turned babes,
Moaning for mama or a medic,
Gasping for a hand upon their head,
As prayers and curses were sucked
From bodies by the piercing blows
Of guns, while rockets puked
Hellish flames that blotted
Out the stars, until darkness
Swelled into a symphony of pain,
And his heart choked with agonies
He could not stop to heal.

I have learned to fasten his gaze
With the soft gauze of understanding,
A fabric thrown across the room,
Rich with memories between us,
Like rose petals sweetening the air.
I can still delight his eyes and lure him
From the tangled jungle pits he digs
And show him patterns of new mercies,
That reveals the hidden weaver of our days,
The keeper of our steps upon this turf
Of life, turned gentler now.

I drape and wrap, twist and thread
My warless arms around him,
Still fingering the loom of prayer.
Murmuring vows over his embattled brow,
I draw him underneath our tent, pitched
In the heat of hard fought love.

   SLEEPING WITH THE DEVIL'S WIFE
Some night you'll wake before morning
Sweatin to the oldies she will sing.
She'll make you think you're in Heaven...
Long enough to tell you ANYTHING...

And you'll believe her.

Some night you'll wake up hearing voices
Sweatin to the oldies of here life.
She'll never say you're in Heaven.
Or tell you you've been sleeping with the Devil's Wife.

She'll never tell you, you've been sleeping with the Devil's wife.

But you will KNOW.
You will know.

That's when you'll need her.
That's when you'll love her the most.
That's when you will die.
Sleeping with the Devil's wife.

That's when you will die.

I found something of yours you left behind:
Something I did not expect to find.
The sudden surge of memories
Shocked me so hard I couldn't breathe—
It almost knocked me to my knees.
My whole world came undone.

I found something of yours you left behind:
Something that you wore when you were mine.
You wore it with your wedding gown,
Like a tiara or a crown.
It turned my world all upside down.
You always were “the one”.

I found something of yours you left behind:
Something that my love for you enshrined.
I found it hidden from the light,
That thing you used to wear at night.
That came down when I held you tight,
Back when we were one.

I found something of yours you left behind,
Something that I never wished to find—
'Cause there's no going back, you see,
To times when you were here with me.
You left a painful void in me;
But still life must go on.

I think of what you left behind
And then it came to me:
The saddest thing you left behind
Turned out to be me.

(Chorus )
I thought I'd gotten over you;
But I was wrong, you see.
You don't get over love that's true,
Nor what was meant to be.

This kind of love doesn't fall from the sky
This kind of love wouldn't end with goodbye
This kind of love leaves you dizzy at times
This kind of love never needs to wonder why

You can always tell how good love should be
Everywhere you look it becomes what you see
Love becomes moments you will say to yourself
You wouldn't share your life with anyone else

This kind of love didn't come with script
This kind of love isn't floating adrift
This kind of love you just can't put down
This kind of love keeps on going around

Say you'll be here for each one of our times
When bridges break off at the end of our lines
If things go wrong and days turn into nights
I will be here to ensure everything goes right

This kind of love will set the example
This kind of love more than simply ample
This kind of love building upon itself
This kind of love in sickness and health

Her breathing moves a strand of golden hair
that lays upon her pillow, next to mine,
yet in this evening birdsongs on the air
awaken me to listen and recline.

This errant bird, whose song dispatches sleep,
is laughing at a long forgotten jest
or maybe woos a distant mate who, deep
inside her feathered nest, finds better rest.

I watch the window, night begins to fade
and so do I. As slumber beckons me
I hear a distant answer softly made:
A dawn duet resplendent in our tree.

A single song brings answers in the air
as my beloved sleeps without a care.

Oh how sweet and beautiful are the words
that you say to me, they stick to my soul
like honey to a bee. They move me,
they soothe me, they let me live, for
it is you that I need and my heart
I will give.

You touched me like I never have
felt before, you start my heart breathing
so fast until I can hardly let go.
I feel your words like sand on a beach
they are still in my head and will never
decease. Your words are so brand
new and alive, for they are the only
thing that is helping me to survive.

You touched my heart like no other I have
known, the way in which you love me
I wil never do you no harm. Your words
is like an ocean running free, all I want
them to do is pour all over me.

You touched my heart like a child playing
with a toy, he love it so much because
it brings him so much joy. That is how
you touch my heart, giving and bringing
me so much joy, it makes me feel like
a child with his new toy.

You touched my heart every day of my
life, that is why I do not care about all
the sacrifice. I wil do everything to make
you happy just as long as I know I am
the apple of your eye and that you will
do or say nothing to make me
cry.

You touched my heart from this day
forward, there can never be another
you because you are what I need and
it is me for you and you for me that
is the only way it is going to be.
you touched my heart.

My love is like an Owl
Knowledgeable and deep and wise
My love is like the Raven
With magic behind its eyes

My love is like an Eagle
Its lineage crowned most high
My love is like a Lark
So swift and scarce and shy

My love is like the Peregrine
Soaring silent above the hill
My love is like the Dove
Spreading peace and good will

My love is like the Stork
Bringing life so fair and bright
My love is like the Sparrow
It’s intuition for life’s fading light

My love is like the Albatross
Floating high on fair winds
My love is like the Crow
The darkened portent that it sends

My love is like the fabled Tern
Crossing continents the status quo
My love is like the Penguin
With its tuxedo in the snow

My love is like the Mynah
Able to sing any song or say
My love is like the Rooster
Heralding each brand new day

But most of all my love is like the Lovebird
Her loving song oft heard
That perfect pair to my person
And the inspiration for these words

Your face,
Made a fake smile, (you said)
I love you,
I need you,
I want you just for a while,
You told me,
That I made you smile,
All the things you said to me,
Are just words now,
How can we love,
When you love me for yourself,
(This Aint Love)

Chorus: 2x
What are we doin,
If this love ain't real,
What is this feeling,
That I feel,

I'm broken in emotion,
I'm broken in love, (you said)
I need you,
I want you
You're the only one,
I'm thinkin of, (so tell me)
How can we love,
When there's always someone else,
(This Aint Love)

Chorus 2x
Bridge:
How can we love,
When there's always someone else,
How can we make up,
When you only love me for yourself,

verse #3:
You got me imprisoned,
Inside your heart,
When kissed
I felt, Like we,
Would never be apart,
chorus 2x

Too much Viagra and beer.
Too much Viagra and beer.
My wife was out of town,
I hit every club around.
Each time I'd hope to find
A horny woman here.

Country Bob's was the last club that was open.
Near blind drunk and horny, but I was still hopin'.
A pretty woman gave me a glance,
Smiled and said, "Nice pants.
Honey, I'm ridin' if you're ropin'."

A few hours later, I was in a Helluva mess
She's still ridin' hard and screamin', "God, this is the best!"
I was dizzy and light-headed. I had pains in my chest,
But she wouldn't stop long enough to call EMS.

When I came to, I was home in my own bed,
Next to my lovely wife; and this is what she said:
"I picked you up at Country Bob's, my dear;
And there's gonna be some changes around here.

You were fantastic last night;
So, I only think its right
If I supplement your diet
With Viagra and beer."

Viagra and beer. Viagra and beer.
She treats me like a king,
Says I make her body sing;
So, She makes sure I get my Viagra and beer.

Viagra and beer. Viagra and beer.
Yeah, she makes sure I get my Viagra and beer.

We're like newlyweds.
I need a break sometime.

We made love, and then we fell in love
Not knowing what it really was…
Love’s just not a dream, a home, kids, pets and things..
But it allows us to see the beauty they bring

But there’s one thing that I’ve learned beyond a real doubt
If you you’re so unhappy that you want to shout it out
That you don’t have a clue, and you're real unhappy cause…
If momma ain’t happy, nobody’s happy
If momma ain’t happy, then nobody’s happy

Your twenties and your single friends were running short
Maybe you had a wish to be free from the sport
Of choosing a mate that some call soul
Not leaving it to fate to take its toll, hey hey..

You’re a great companion, a lover, and a mom
But you’re hiding emotions that if don’t come unstrung
Will overshadow the good and the joy in your life
I pray you’ll find peace somewhere in all the strife

But there’s one thing that I learned beyond a real doubt
If you you’re so unhappy that you need to shout
I don’t want to sound like I’m down or sappy, but…
If momma ain’t happy, nobody’s happy
If she ain’t happy, then nobody’s happy

The new you is looking for some validation
Not just merely for peer admiration
Something all yours, made on your own
I’m with you all the way, you always known..

I live with the fear I’m just along for the ride
I think you’re leaving me, tough thing to hide
I want you to know its breaking parts of me away
To see you so distant each and every day

But there’s one thing that I’ve learned beyond a real doubt
If you you’re so unhappy that you need to shout it out
That you don’t have a clue, and you feel real scrappy cause…
If momma ain’t happy, nobody’s happy
I said if she ain’t happy, nobody’s happy

Everyone has days that some call blue
I’m here to listen with an ear that’s true
I still make you laugh, its important to say
You can make your own mark without drifting away

Our kids, dogs, and even our horses too
Are joyful souls because of me and you
I often picture what our twilight years’ll bring
Two old lovers laughing, not too serious a thing

There are some things we should never be without
Family, God’s love, we should shout it out
You always have my heart, I pray your dreams come true
You can count on me, you know I love you.. I do

But there’s one thing that I’ve learned beyond any doubt
If you you’re so unhappy that you want to scream and shout
That you don’t have a clue, and you're real unhappy cause…
If momma ain’t happy, then nobody’s happy…
Momma please be happy, i pray you’ll be happy…
Momma please be happy, i pray you’ll be happy…

It happened one day
I never saw it coming
Oh maybe I did but I hid behind a numbing

I was wondering why she’d stayed home that day
With her busy schedule she should have been away
She sat down beside me at the table
Smiled and said let’s talk if you’re able

When I heard her words, I broke down and cried
That way she looked at me, my whole world just died
I don’t love you anymore
I don’t love you anymore…

I didn't think I'd ever feel the same again
Then a friend said don't look back, looking forward’s the way to mend
In two years you won't believe how your life will evolve
At the time I couldn’t see what that would involve

Cause when I heard her words, I just broke down and cried
That way she looked at me, my whole world just died
I don’t love you anymore
I don’t love you anymore…

The advice held the truth that I couldn’t see
In the end I think both of us were really set free
It’s been three years now since I heard those words
My life is on track and no longer blurred

Because with time all things change
With positive thoughts you can really exchange
I'm back in a place where I thank God every day
For he's blessed me I know in so many ways

When I heard those words, I broke down and cried
That way she looked at me, my whole world just died
I don’t love you anymore
I don’t love you anymore…

Well… you know, I still love you and more..
But I love my new life that you gave me that day
And I’ll always remember what together we made
What together we made…

Some have asked about how song turned out. Check for on itunes under my name Shawn Sackman. Thanks.

Look at you, you have found my heart
With love I stare into your eyes
With passion I devise
I can not part with you or can not stop the things I have started

So I raise my hands to embrace you and you alone

Look I walk by your side and I found my self crying
With your hands so soft with gentleness
With your smile so beautiful with carefulness
I do notice life with you without sighing

So I raise my hands to embrace you and you alone

Without a fear of losing you, you are in my visions
With beautiful roses by your side
I love you more than twelve times
Without doubt I do love you, I care for you and you alone

So do not walk away
Please lets talk about things anyway
With feelings of letting you go is make me ache in the heart
Do not stop believing my passion has fallen apart

So I raise my hands to embrace you and you alone

Look I want us to grow old with each other through years of journeys
With hope of sharing life of fulfillment that gives us memories
With this I hope to give all of my faith and I hope it is not to late
I Look into your eyes with such full life because you have been my life date

So I raise my hands to embrace you and you alone

And you alone

So I raise my hands to embrace you

you alone

*To the tune of "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen

I've heard there is a secret floor
That's locked behind your attic door.
But you don't really want to show me, do you?
You keep her there,
A ghost, a fiend -
An angry beast that taunts unseen.
The crazy wife who wants to burn your house down.

You have Bertha in your attic
You have Bertha in your attic

My love was strong, so I needed proof
That she was jailed beneath your roof.
She showed up in the moonlight to betray you.
She lit the flames, she left you there
To choke on smoke and fight the flare.
The crazy wife who tried to burn your house down.

You have Bertha in your attic
You have Bertha in your attic

Edward, I've been hurt before.
I've been condemned, I've been ignored.
I used to feel alone before I knew you.
I've seen her face through the attic door.
I've heard her wails through the attic floor.
The crazy wife who tried to burn your house down.

You have Bertha in your attic
You have Bertha in your attic

There was a time when you let me know
The truth about your scheming show.
But now you wish you'd never told me, don't you?
And remember when she stalked my room
Searching for her cheating groom?
The crazy wife who tried to burn your house down.

You have Bertha in your attic
You have Bertha in your attic
You have Bertha in your attic
You have Bertha in your attic

All in one faded-black day (but let None forget) In my arms, her body lay (my life was the price to pay) A tragedy, through the lack of humanly shame (do they know pain) My darkly colleen has to suffer no more (Robert nor do you) Let me die (please hear my haunted cries) If I can not see Sophie tonight (live on with my grey) I'm just a mess of despairing words And broken nerves Another mourning, afflicted sight (through decay, love can remain) Solace, sympathy are just more lies She is all I need Until you decide she is just another sadist's toy My Angel, why did you have to fly so far away My Angel, just let one feather stay My Angel has flown away My Angel, why did you have to fly so far away My Angel, just let one feather stay My Angel has flown away (My body is amortal, die I may, Together, our hearts will forever stay)

I could give you the moon
     And the sun
          And the stars up above
               If you let me.
I could fill up your world
     With the dreams
          That you dreamed about love
               We'd be happy.

We'll ride on the clouds, feel the wind, if we give it a chance.
Move to life's melody as we learn how to dance.
Greet the world with a smile as we walk hand in hand.
Find the sweet pearls of life hidden deep in the sand.
     That's what love is.
          Oh my darling.
               That's what love is.

I could sing you a song
     We could sing
          Through the sunshine and rain
               If you'll be mine.
I could bring you the love
     And the joy
          That few people attain
               In a life time.

I could give you support
     With your dreams
I would be there for you
               When you need me.
Be the one that you trust
     With your life
That's what true love can do
               It's so easy.

This song was written for my sweet and beautiful wife, Stevi. During the 5
weeks from the time we met till the time we were married I had written and
sung this song to her. We have now been happily married almost 18 years.

For Christ my Savior, I will be waiting
And be still for my Most Beloved King;
I shall hope for His glorious coming
And I'll be steadfast, for He's returning!

All the day, all my thoughts are my Dearest
By night, in mind's the One in Highest
All that I've dreamed for is the Holiest
And all I longed for's my Love, the Might'yest.

Then I remember His love that saved me
And His loving-kindness that's set me free
I remember His mercy that cleansed me
And His charge-less grace that made me holy.

One day shall be filled my heart's longing
And fulfillment, in thirst, God will bring
My joy shall be whole in everlasting
For in that day, I shall see my Dear King.

How my heart longs for You, my Beloved
And how I thirst after You, O our Head!
How my soul pants for You, Most Exalted
And how I want You here, O Most Blessed!

So come, O Jesus Christ, my King - quickly -
For I am longing after You so deeply;
Come, Almighty my Beloved - quickly -
For after You, my Master, I'm thirsty!

She's marking my direction,
It's her that I see,
And there's nothing I can say or do,
She's struting down the street,
With fire in her feet,
And I'm thinking I should make a move,

No steps I heard,
She glides like a bird,
And her eyes sparked a perfect blue,
Her voice blew like the trees,
I fell to my knees,
As she said how do you do,

(chorus): 2x
I said, can you be mine,
Can you be mine,
I said, Can you be mine,
Love me forever and more,

Her eyes opened wide,
As though she was surprised,
She didn't know what to say,
She grabbed a pen and wrote down her number,
Before I asked her for her name,
She said her name was Lisa,
I said so nice to meet ya,
This girl, was playin heard to get,

I said I know you've been hurt in the past,
But you won't be hurt this time,
Her hair was so soft and beautiful,
So I told her not to pay a dime,

(Chorus): 3x

(Bridge)
Talking:
(I love the way you movin ya body, baby)
(I got so excited, baby)
(That's the way, you got me, you got me)

Yeah I know I can be a bad man
But I just want people to understand
I do what I must, I do only what one can

I think about life, I think about my everyday strifes
I know I love you girl you the mama of my children
You already like my wife
I know I have cheated from time to time
but you the only one who I sleep with at the end of another long night

Yeah I know I can be a bad man
But I just want people to understand
I do what I must, I do only what one can

I know I like to drink yet it feels like I love that alcohol
This liqour and beer is my number one downfall
If it werent so then the crazy *****in my life now I would have never saw
I would have never ended up sitting in prison for breaking the law

Yeah I know I can be a bad man
But I just want people to understand
I do what I must, I do only what one can

It's alright now though because Im back in school
I know I struggle at times but Im reframing from being another lost fool
I know it bull-*****even though many youngsters think that *****is cool
But they don't know if they been where I been and still want to do what I do

(verse 1)
Baby girl,
I love,
But, not enough,
You're the only one,
I'm thinkin of,
I could hide my love,
But, I'm sincere,
You're the only one,
That I can hear,

(chorus)
I Think I Love You, baby (you) x3

(verse 2)
I can be your man,
But, you're my world,
Baby, you're that,
Special kind of girl,
Baby, you're on top,
Like a canopy,
Baby girl, tell me,
That you love me,

(chorus)
I Think I Love You, baby (you) x3

Baby girl, I fell,
Inside your love,
You're the only girl,
I'm speakin of,
I never thought,
That I'd be here,
Girl, I never thought love,
Could just apear,

(Chorus)
Oh I Think I Love You, baby (I love
you) x4

My Love my wife my life
Lie in my arms
and rest your head
on my chest
listen to my heartbeat
to the song that I sing
my song a river of life
that flows out to you....

The loveliest of all women
you are my out-flowing
my out-pouring
my well my spring
and in you
my thirst is all quenched
for when you speak
its all sweet melody
A gold bowl full of incense
And in our moments
your fragrance fills the room
Dropping sweetness
Like a honeycomb

You are a living epistle
A book written only for me
to read and understand
and behold you
in your purest form
Wrapped with light
as with a wedding gown
Dressed up in sunshine
your beauty overwhelms me
For yours is all goodness
and truly yours is an outraying
of all the good things in life

Page by page
and line upon line
Mysteries are unravelled
And secrets unveiled
As we behold each other
both naked and unashamed
bone of my bone
and flesh of my flesh
My love my wife my life

Your touch, satisfies my soul
One look from you and I feel whole
And I've had more love than I could ever live
And gotten so much more than I could ever give
And if I never see
Another sunrise
That's ok, cause I'm satisfied.
.
If I never hear your voice even one more time
I've gotten more than I deserve
It didn't cost a single dime
That's ok, cause I'm satisfied
It's still a win because you simply let me in
If I never see your smiling face again
That's ok, cause I'm satisfied
.
I've had more love in life than most folks have ever known
And I've sure lost some along the way
and I've reaped every good or bad seed that I've sown
And as long as I'm with you
That's ok, ok,
cause I'm satisfied
.
One touch from you
I know it's true
One look is all it takes
And my sky is blue
But if I never felt your touch again
I'd still be ok
Cause I'm satisfied . . .
With you
You've given what no one else would ever give
You gave me all of you
And I know it's true
.
And if I don't take another breath today
That's ok, cause I'm satisfied
With you

I like your love
It's pure, it's innocent
and I don't think I've seen this before

You replenish my reserves before it's necessary
you lift my wings up and
make me superior to my adversary
Creatively providing the exact amount of
what I need to go another day
I like your love
and for as long as you'll have me I'll stay

You make me comfortable in my space
What she share cannot be replaced
with any other type of love
be it artificial or tainted or lustfully blatant
Those illusions don't exist because
we found this love and we claimed it

I cherish those nights when I scratch your head
When you sit between my thighs and I twist your dreads
We become an us that is so pure
that the spring waters question the purity of it's source
I like your love - it's a divine force

That half grown chrysanthemums/
Stirring up like accuser's.
Life is compared with what two things ?
Which do you think is the richer more revealing comparison ?
Poets use many symbols/
Geese flying south can be a symbol,
Of that of approaching winter/
Heart's symbolize love,
In this brief expanse we call life,
One may want to cry out in a revolt ?
Other's simply take in a breathe of fresh air/
Ponder that many other's that don't even care ?
We all must become united in this great cause !
Not to use this concept loosely/
Yet to humbly ponder a thought,
What do you all think tells a more detailed story ?
The poem or the picture ?
Love can grow out of a billowing cry/
Perhaps a cut nor a mere stye in the eye ?
The seventies had embarked on this journey/
Not to mention that of Timothy Leary ?
This took us to a vast opened door !
To break on through to the other side/
Lest I emplore,
Still we have every bit of reason in which to grasp/
That lattice decor to that shine on the asp,
A sweet juice filled with fine honey nectar/
The future resources,
Allow the creative poet/
To begin to explore the valley of much more !
In gaining the proper word/
Fresh out of the Autumn air !

Are you sure that you don't mind me going to Zuum-ba;
I can easy stay at home dear, if you like? (cha cha cha)
I'll just sit down over there and put my face on,
Y’know, the one that looks like someone’s stole my bike (cha cha cha)

It seems I can't remember life before the Zuum-ba;
Things must have been so very, very drab; (cha cha cha)
No music, no singing and no dancing;
A bit like watching Antiques Road Show with my dad. (cha cha cha)

And now my music taste has changed so much since Zuum-ba,
I just cannot get enough of Latin beat; (cha cha cha)
The mere fact that I cannot understand them
Does mean nothing whatsoever to my feet. (cha cha cha)

Well, I don’t think I could live without my Zuum-ba.
This new life has turned a very special key, (cha cha cha)
And I don't care what you say, I’m not for changing,
You’ll just have to live these hours without me. (cha cha cha)

I would rather be out with my pals from Zuum-ba,
With the music that has set my spirit free, (cha cha cha)
Than simply being home with my dear husband,
Where the only thing he cares about is me. (cha cha cha)

Now it seems that I must give up on my  Zuum-ba;
I’ve sciatica, enough to drive me mad, (cha cha cha)
As those three times every week drove my fitness past its peak,
And now my hubby has me back, he’s smugly glad. (cha cha cha)

There's an old English song called All Jolly Fellows That Follow The PLow. The tune works fine as is for the chorus and with the verses if the tune for the 3rd and 4th lines is repeated for th 5th and 6th. Well, it works for me but my singing has never been much hindered by tunes.

It was after that big game one long gone September,
the score line was one I’d like not to remember,
in a small Richmond pub not too far from the ground,
we all settled down with our sorrows to drown.
We were well on the way, as were most of the crowd,
when in came a young pedlar a shouting out loud.

Sausages, sold by the yard or the pound!
Get a fresh sausage, the best to be found!
It’ll make your wife happy of that there’s no doubt,
with her very own snag she won’t need to dine out.

Cried the barmaid, “How many do I get to a yard?”
“Madam, four if they’re soft or three if they’re hard”
She felt for the soft ones, she wanted a lot,
but the more that she squeezed em the harder they got.
She found not a sausage was e’en a bit soft
so she told the young pedlar to go get far offed

Sausages, sold by the yard or the pound!
Get a fresh sausage, the best to be found!
It’ll make your wife happy of that there’s no doubt,
with her very own snag she won’t need to dine out.

Said the pedlar, “Why madam no need to be rude.
And in fact what you told me was verging on crude
But you don’t look so bad for a foul mouthed old sow
so step on outside, if you like, with me now.
If you play your cards right I might squeeze your left breast.
If I find I like that I might squeeze all the rest.”

Sausages, sold by the yard or the pound!
Get a fresh sausage, the best to be found!
It’ll make your wife happy of that there’s no doubt,
with her very own snag she won’t need to dine out.

Said the barmaid to pedlar, “You are a right jerk,
I’m a barmaid and never do mission’ry work.
But if you're near to the shops and you buy me some eggs,
I might squeeze that there pimple you’ve got ‘tween your legs.”
Then she said something that made the whole crowd guffaw,
“And will you stop off at home and please check the back door?”

“
Sausages, sold by the yard or the pound!
Get a fresh sausage, the best to be found!
It’ll make your wife happy of that there’s no doubt,
with her very own snag she won’t need to dine out.

(My First love),
(The way I feel),
(Inside),
(How do I),
Begin,
The way I felt, Within,
I could never hide,
So I told you girl,
The way you, changed my world,
oh girl, The way you looked at me,
As though, I madeYour day,
(Girl I could forget),
The love We made,

Felt, so good,
To me,
How could this be,
A girl just like me,
Who knows, the things,
I need,
(How could this be)
(A girl just like me)
Chorus:
My First Love, (Love)x4

My first kiss,
I came across, a bliss,
How could I forget,
How it made me feel, girl

I'm still, in love,
With you,
In the back of my mind,
Everytime,
Chorus 4x

IL NE SUFFIT PAS (IT IS NOT ENOUGH)

Il ne suffit pas de te pardonner.

(It is not enough to forgive you)

Il ne suffit pas de me pardonner.

(It is not enough to forgive me)

Parce que tu m’as trompé.

     (Because you cheated on me)

Parce que je t’ai trompé.

     (Because I cheated on you)

Tous les deux, nous nous sommes trompés.

(Both of us, we made mistakes)

Alors, il faut se pardonner.

(Therefore we must forgive each other)

Il ne suffit pas de t’excuser.

(It is not enough to excuse you)

Il ne suffit pas de m’excuser.

(It is not enough to excuse me)

Ça ne sert à rien de t’accuser.

(It doesn't accomplish anything to accuse you)

Ça ne sert à rien de m’accuser.

(It doesn't accomplish anything to accuse me)

Il y a de quoi de nous accuser.

(There is reason to accuse us both)

Ça vaut mieux de nous excuser.

(It's better to excuse us both)

Il ne suffit pas de dire «je t’aime».

(It's not enough to say "I love you")

Il ne suffit pas de dire «tu m’aimes».

(It's not enough to say "you love me")

Il faut continuer de se pardonner

(We must continue to forgive each other)

Et s’empêcher de s’accuser.

(And restrain ourselves from accusing each other)

Tous les deux, nous nous sommes trompés.

(Both of us, we made mistakes)

Mais quand même il faut qu’on s’aime.

(However, we must love each other)
