You Choose Amnesia

you choose amnesia
self inflicted malady
I am the healer

term of endearment
now given to another
you try to forget

my fragrance lingers
love fights for recognition
sweet awakening

Station Road

with each passing train
the house trembles
aborted dreams

strangers in the night
the creaking floorboards
she cheats on him

wafts of warm
spiced paratha bread
her aroma lingers

Existence - Be Happy

                        painting life's portrait
                       smiling faces on earth
                         barefoot happy kid.

                          read mom's story
                  before eyes close and journey
                        lives forever young.

                         love so tenderly
               heart filled with our memories
                       happiness reveals.

Unreachable Daydream

Judgement will await,
A whim found of a young boy's
Unreachable age.

An urge to be grown,
A truth lost of an old man's
Unreachable youth.

Rapture will await,
A hope found of a flawed soul's
Unreachable birth.

Where Has He Gone

Lone brown boy
Tears find his quivering lips
Salt meets tongue

Helpless love
I would search the universe
For your dreams

Tears to rust
Moving till you witness light
As mouth dries

Gush of grief
You occupy space no more
Sagging fence

Little Ticked Boxes

little boxes ticked
delete button selected
memories erased

the good and the bad
no longer retrievable
new memories made

forgive and forget
no words left to remind me
will my heart forget?

My abiding memory

My abiding memory

crushed dreams of longing
could barely creep to next year
a soul drenched in tears

MEMORY REVIVES

                                   happened in past time
as day after day dust falls
                                   on things sees unclear

                                       memory revives
                                as dust's removed by wiping
                                   things are seen clearly

                                 past and present's gap
as if year's lessen to hour
                                   past eyes presently
