Life As Perceived Reality
We believe and think what beings we are;
Juiced up ready to expel our seeds
to create new generations of replications.
Each with different bumps and rinds divided within,
but in the end, can we really tell one from the other?
What history was written? What tales were told?
Where would our essence go next?
The lemon and lime ponder the finality
Destiny takes us through each vector
and we live life as if it matters.
Reward and struggle makes the day important
to the ones who stay.
Why-wherefore queries would often seem
to lead to equivalent questions but from different questioners.
shall we all arrive at the same conclusions in circulations?
Semantic variables confuse and dissociate until the "why"
split like a atom becomes a force to be reckoned with,
an uncontrollable exhortation which like the wild stallion
is difficult to tame.
We excel in greatness born of trauma, ending in trauma
the pluralistic motivator of the human race
without which, all would all die as a mundane abstractions.
There has to be, more than soul malnourishment
or psyche incompatibilities that fire the ovens of our discontent.
But for the millennium of existence
man's emotional evolution progresses little,
All of the incarnations and soul needs
have been left unsatisfied and yet we still hunger
for a messiah to complete our missions.
The free will of maneuverability concedes
the interpretation to mean a narrow winded road
with little room to avoid oncoming traffic;
an open highway with eternal destinations
that never seem to close the open gaps
between the beginning and the end,
until one learns that the beginning was the end
Glory in goodness, as darkness will surely follow.
The earth sends this message with each rotation
In radiant awe and heart hurting sadness
Possibilities are endless it is said.
Once chosen the now becomes the beginning
and the possibilities again become
endless until the final second
when it all ends as prescribed by the prescriber.
Perhaps then, one may see clearly
what was before us all the time
and is thankful that the curtain
finally closes on the succession of plays.

The waters on earth
And in its depth
The nerves of the Nature
Cleansing our dirt
Appeasing our thirst
Fructifying our harvest
As tears of happiness.
But, when the sky’s
Wounded with our lives
Of our inequities
The waters change their flavor
As tears of sorrow
And flood into our lives
To cause us shed tears
No science can save us
From the fury of waters
Only the waters in our eyes
Can save us from the disasters
With our true baptism
In the holy waters

Wish to be like the trees;
Only to feel the breeze
And to taste the dewdrops on my leaves.
Wish to see the sky over me
And to feel that there is nothing out of reach
Wish to feel the waves of the sea
Hitting me on the beach.
To my surprise, when woods I pass
I saw a deer running from the mass,
I hate the scene of the hunter coming,
I hate to see her running and running.
But the bravery appeared
When-with her antlers-she beard
But my legs couldn't stand
Watching her bleed on land.
I thought it is done
That she will never see the sun.
A fantasy I ruminate!
She stood again and I meditate.
She was wounded I can deem
But- with her agile body- she redeem'd
Then..I wish my heart was the deer
That could be hurt but without blear
That could be wounded but stand on his knees,
And never fall apart because any of these
I wish my heart was brave;
To face his scars with faith.
Then my deer will be strong
To brood fears all day long.

I AM WALKING INTO SWEET, BEAUTIFUL AND PEACEFUL SUNSHINE.
A PLACE THAT IS TRULY AND SPIRITUALLY DIVINE.
THE CLOUDS ARE FADING AND THE RAIN BEGINS TO STOP.
THE ROADS ARE ROCKY AS I REACH THE MOUNTAINTOP.
AT THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN I SEE JESUS WAITING FOR ME WITH OPEN ARMS.
LIKE A CHILD COMING HOME TO HIS OR HER MOTHER.
FOR HE IS ONE OF A KIND AND LIKE NO OTHER.
I WALK ON THIS LONG ROAD TO SEE THAT IS NOT A BED OF ROSES.
THERE ARE SNAKES AND SPIDERS ALONG THE WAY.
TO DISTRACT MY PATH AND FOR ME NOT TO SEE ANOTHER DAY.
THIS JOURNEY CONTINUES TO GO ON FOR ME.
SO THAT ONE DAY I CAN BE FREE.

On a lonely cliff wings spread wide I am readying to leap.
GOD said he would appoint angels to guard my keep.
Tired of living in the cold dark of night.
I find my soul craving the comforting warmth of light.
Images flood my mind of what I will see
but how do I learn to trust again my once broken wings?
I am shown too many signs that I am meant to soar.
That my current circumstances are temporary. I am meant for much more.
Look me in the eyes and allow me to wander your soul.
Learn the psychology behind the scars that took their toll.
Create a world that exist outside of time.
Question is...When I look you in the eyes do you get lost in mine?

Faith is not... blind,
it sees what... others don't.
Faith is not...a gift,
we choose it... others won't.
Faith is not...weak,
it breaks the yoke of it's oppressors.
Faith is not foolish,
it preserves alive it's possessors.

I HEAR A SOUND THAT IS SWEET TO MY EARS AND SOFT TO MY SOUL
IT SPEAKS TO ME IT CALLS MY NAME AND EVER SINCE I HAVE HEARD THIS SOUND I HAVE NEVER BEEN THE SAME.
MY SADNESS HAS BEEN MELTED AWAY WITH THE MELODIES FROM THE HEAVENS ABOVE.
IT HAS BEEN SHOWERED WITH UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
THIS SONG KEEPS SINGING TO MY SPIRIT AND ABSORBING INTO MY SOUL.
THE ANGELS ARE SINGING UNTO ME AND COMFORTING ME THROUGH THIS SONG.
I AM AT PEACE AND MY HEART IS AT EASE NO LONGER AM I IN PAIN.
NO MORE AM I IN DARKNESS THE CLOUDS HAVE FADED AWAY AND THE SUN IS SHINING ALL AROUND ME.

Eternal life, I know thee
I now see what you are
You've never been a stranger
Or a potion in a jar.
You've been a patient waiter
Ever serving when you're called
Many pass you in the shadows
Never seeing you at all.
Now that I've come to know you
I see you everywhere
The blind can't comprehend
They remain so unaware.
Yet you're more constant than the seasons
Or the setting of the sun
You accommodate the righteous
In the body we're made one.
You're a mystery to the stranger
But a comfort to the wise
Those with knowledge understand
You are the high and treasured prize.
I won't be daunted by the shadow
I'll not bow down to death's false face
Through the dark with horror haunted
It's your spirit I'll embrace.
For the truth is your companion
And has been my closest friend
We met at our good lord's table
Fast friends we'll stay until the end.
Certain battles are still raging
Though the victory is won
The enemy hopes to kill a few more
By the setting of his sun.
I never knew how close you watch us
Waiting for that perfect time
To set and seat and then to feed us
The bread of life, and so; we dine.

Crouched here in the corner of the ceiling
watching myself – fighting to endure –
I stifle tears, for I am but his essence
growing dimmer as his color pales.
He struggles to make sense of life – in death.
Whereas I struggled to make sense of death – in life.
I watched him weep at the passing of others
who would not find time for him.
I tried to touch him, to reach him,
to let him know that we were not alone,
that we had each other. I think he felt it – once-
then pulled away with a shiver.
He – We – were so much more than memory,
so much more than tissue, and sinew, and pain.
We Were, dammit! Even now, as he struggles
to decide our fate we still – Are.
None but me have know the all of him,
his deepest fear, the enormity of his love,
his loneliness amid the crowds,
his presence among the lonely.
I have always been there for him – in spirit,
had his back, echoed his spiritual song,
directed his eyes toward the sunrise
of a troubling night’s trepidation.
We were the best of what we are
so I am saddened. Not by his imminent death,
but by the inevitable separation of
the animator from the animation.

And who was to know this creature so beautiful stripped and wild
Was about to take the form of child.
A child that needed love and protecting from harm
Yet none was there to comfort, to alarm
The sting of life this child could feel
But soon no longer as she would heal
A journey so strong so very true
The colour was no longer an emotion, blue
A force from above became a force within,
Why oh why did this take so long to begin.
Why? My child I hear you ask,
For there were lessons you needed to pass.
Enjoy this life and share your love
For then you will know the freedom of a dove
For I see you child I know your heart,
Be sure to make your sweet sweet mark.

I HEARD SOMETHING FROM INSIDE MY SOUL.
SOMETHING THAT SPEAKS SWEETLY TO ME.
MY WOUNDS ARE HEALING AND MY HEART IS BEING REPAIRED.
GOD ALLOWED ME TO WAKE UP TO HIS BEAUTIFUL PRESENCE.
THE TEARS ARE BEING DRIED UP MY SOUL IS WRAPPED IN HIS WARMNESS.
I CAN FEEL HIM COVERING MY FLESH HE WHISPERS TO ME.
THAT HE LOVES ME THAT HE IS BY MY SIDE I WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITHOUT HIM.
I HAVE A SWEET HEALING THAT IS FLOWING MY WAY.
WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE THAT FEELING THAT I HAVE ON THE INSIDE OF ME.
THE ROSES ARE SMELLING SWEET ON THIS SIDE AND THE GRASS IS DEFINITELY GREENER.
I AM IN THAT SECRET PLACE WHERE I CAN FIND PEACE AND A FORGIVING HEART.
SOMETHING THAT CAN NEVER BE EXPLAINED FOR HE IS SHINING HIS LIGHT ON ME.
A REFRESHING GLOW OF HIS PRESENCE COMFORTS ME.

I paint all my sorrows and I leave the real world with a brush stroke
I gently gather all my being to overcome the boundaries of reality
I focused on thriving on a canvas rather than words alone
My life is all about creation, and nothing less than its perfection
Ever since I was little I been in solitude with emotions unknown to me
Than out of my vision came the hand of redemption kind and helpful
My life changed when I had an accident almost claiming my life
But now I am a fighter in my belief and my life, I can focus on healing
Healing others by my smile, creation, and my ideas that flows through me
By the stroke of my brush I have no pain or grief that I can imagine
My light in me shines so bright it never is dark in my world
Especially when I can share it with everyone in the universe
I am fragile easy to change emotions, rather not talk but use colors
My, my soul, is not just my own it is sent from above, not to race anyone
But to guide myself to those creations, I am who I am, because of me
Not no one, Not anyone, Not the words of people, I have my own technique
I do not focus in silly arguments or drama, but I get sucked into it
Because I am gullible and don’t know better, yet my spirit does not fallow
It knows when to depart the physical being, rather than stay to hear it all
When it wants back in it feels like the hand that gracefully picks me up
It heals my passion, my heart, life in me brightens and all the changes disappear
Then my hand becomes my tool, it shows me how bright I am
My eyes fallows, the stroke of my brush, revealing my creation and my passion

HE LIVES IN ME HE GIVES ME THE AIR THAT I BREATHE HE SHINES HIS LIGHT ON ME.
I GIVE HIM THANKS FOR WAKING ME UP EVERY MORNING TO GIVE ANOTHER CHANCE ON THIS JOURNEY THAT I CALL LIFE.
THROUGH THE SUNNY DAYS AND THE RAVING STORMS HE WAS THERE AT TIMES I FELT I WAS ALL ALONE BUT HE NEVER LEFT MY SIDE.
HE BRINGS PEACE IN MY SOUL LOVE IN MY HEART AND JOY TO MY SPIRIT.
FOR HE IS MY EVERLASTING WATER I NEVER HAVE TO THRIST WITH HIM HE IS MY FOOD HE GIVES ME NOURISHMENT SO I CAN BE STRONG.
HE IS THE ROCK THAT MAKES ME STRONG THE GLUE THAT HOLDS ME TOGETHER.
I RISE EACH MORNING BECAUSE OF HIM I LIFT MY HANDS AND PRAISE HIM.
HE KEEPS ME GROUNDED I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO WITHOUT HIM.
I AM ON A SPIRITUAL HIGH AND I REFUSE TO COME DOWN.

I KNOW THAT I AM A TRUE SURVIVOR THE HOLY GHOST HAS BEEN MY SPIRITUAL PROVIDER.
IN THE MIDST OF THE MY STORM HE WAS THERE TO KEEP ME WARM.
THERE WERE TIMES WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO GIVE UP ON THIS LIFE.
BUT THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS THERE TO BRING ME UP IN TO THE LIGHT.
KEEPING ME SAFE THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT.
THE SUNLIGHT IN THE MORNING AND THE MOONSHINE AT NIGHT HE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE EVERYTHING ALL RIGHT.
HE MAKES MY PATHS STRAIGHT AND NARROW FOR I KNOW THAT HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW.
MY SOUL YEARNS FOR HIM AND MY SPIRIT HUNGERS FOR HIM DAILY.
EVERY SECOND EVERY MINUTE AND EVERY HOUR.
HE IS MY ALL IN ALL HE IS THE AIR THAT I BREATHE AND THE NOURISHMENT TO MY SOUL.
HE IS THE PROVIDER AND THE NAVIGATOR OF MY JOURNEY

we're now in the midst of the Holy season known as Lent
forty days and nights of sacrifice as a way to repent
a time for us to try and get a little closer to God
a time to fast, to give up something we hold dear to our hearts
we're in the age of technology with Facebook, Twitter and texting
the way people now communicate has become somewhat vexing
always with the I-Pods, I-Pads, cel phones and e-mail
time to talk to eveyone but God who only requires knee-mail
when Jesus encountered the Tempter after His time of fasting
He had a wilderness experience that would be forever lasting
hungry and tired from all those challenges He had to face
now waiting on the word of God to fall perfectly in place
the Tempter said "if You're the Son of Man make bread out of these stones"
Jesus replied " that man does live by bread alone
but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God"
the spiritual Soul Food that will forever nourish our hearts
the Daily Bread that overflows into our spiritual cups
the Word of God, the Soul Food that will forever lift us up
as that was then and this is 2010
it's time to come out of the wilderness my friend
we all have moments of frustration, heartache and pain
we need to come out of the wilderness and by God be made whole again
to face down the devil and the temptation He'll put in your way
now resistant to sin and no longer by the Enemy to be swayed
to partake of God's Soul Food which will guide us to all truths
to trust in God and do whatever His word asks of you
to call on God and know that He will always have your back
now full of His Soul Food and on the right spiritual track
knowing that it's now all under God's control
now fed and nourished by His Spiritual Food for your soul

Down the steep mountains and into the slopes,
Darting divine etched twixt duration and existence,
There run the graceful gazelles and fiery antelopes,
Until their breath retreat watching other presence.
Wildebeests rushes by ceasing the opportunity to gain,
Nature’s bare feet turning brown sand on the beach,
Big pebbles not indelibly seen as the smallest sandy grain
Leaving the prints in the ambiance of moments they reach.
On naturally crafted street hides the African talisman,
An indivisible Art where halo glows from a graceful arch,
Sheen shine covering emblem moonlight glowing skin,
Fears not the forces of evil camouflage on parade march.
Lucky charm, African talisman within the veil well-armed
Beyond this man is a distinctive phenomenal spirit,
Striding out against human endurance already formed
From the bloodline history, ancestral traits inherit.
We of mortal multitude find ways to survive and strive,
Sometimes the heart run, walk and mingle in the crowd,
A silent portrait shroud the pride unfolding in the Hythe,
The future is bright but the course takes a grim road.

personification with rhyme
Death comes to all men 'til death's demise.
Death dances at each man's doorway
creating angst and/or appetite.
Mastering pivotal steps paves the way
for nether worlds, for a new birthright.
Death comes to all men until death dies.
