The Death of Light

Once again befalls the night,
The birth of dark; the death of light.
The shroud that veils the light of day,
Of silk and lace does lightly lay.
And so the mourners straggle on
Each waiting for a coming dawn;
Yet this is not a common night--
T is the birth of dark...
And the death of light!

Autumn Leaves

I first met Autumn when I was very, very young,
she was just a shy, quiet girl, but so very bright.
These maple trees were our favorite to play among,
as our laughter faded away with the falling sunlight.

I can still see her brown sweater, and reddish-orange hair,
blowing around her smiling face, like a flickering flame.
Her innocent voice still whispers on October's cool air,
near the place, where our lonely swing remains the same.

As the summer days said goodbye, and welcomed September,
the death of my dear, young friend came all too soon.
Autumn was one of those whom you'd always remember,
her soul was as beautiful as the shining, harvest moon.

She was here, then gone, leaving words that were never spoke,
to this day, I have never understood why Autumn had to leave.
Her presence lingers on the wind, like drifting wood-smoke,
as once a year, her playful spirit arises on All Hallow's Eve.

Many times, I saw my spirit.
Many times, I felt my soul.
In life, I lived courageous.
Now it is time for me to journey home.

If you cry, that is fine.
If you laugh, that is better than a cry.
Rejoice in my life and shout praise.

For I am
Therefore, I shall be
In peace, I leave this world.
To my love ones, I am with the Lord.

Sure happy to have lived
Not sad that my time has come
The benevolence of the spiritual realm is a breeze from a waterfall.

The Lord is my keeper.
He called me home.
No more sadness let us all rejoice.

Ms. Carrie Mae Sexton is now reunited with Jehovah God Lord. A woman of statue...
A woman of worth... All that knew her will truly miss her.

Never a life lost but one done with the world and because she walked a virtuous path, her life is shown. The Lord knows best and we must know the same. Our mother sojourns and in peace, she lays.

Rite Of Passage

We seem to have it all
As we want for nothing
In the darkness of the womb

We are evicted into the light
Sadness, then happiness
Unaware of the looming doom

We seem to have it all-
Sadness, then happiness
Cloudy-vorfreude abloom

We hustle, we jump huddles
We cry, we hate, while loving
Then the reaper to the tomb

Broken Angel Wings

An angel with broken wings
A shattered halo
A shatter soul
Beaten and broken from a fall

Stuck in a barbwire cage
She is consumed by darkness
Which hides behind a mask
Snide remarks, a hateful tone, and sadistic tendencies

She fell from great heights
She couldn't reach anymore
It got to be too much
Failure shattered her wings
And she was left to fall
With no one to catch her

Pure white wings
Stained with blood and dirt
Her innocence left in the clouds
She doesn't belong on the ground

The demons crawl out and surround her
Before long they consume her, she can't fight them off,
she's mourning her lost wings,
She use to be perfect
Now she's just another monster

Mother of all

Come when you are ready to love me
And come when you realized more of love
The time when flesh mean nothing than dust
Come when you are ready to see me
Not just pain that paint my solace soul
And when darkness no longer breeds sorrow
Come when you really want pure bliss
And call to whom that bestow blessings
Wait for me as I stagger like a foolish pagan
Come when all sores are wide open
Wide enough for a blind eye to see
Call me before dawn fades my dreams
Light the wisdom of the goddess to this valley
A valley I wander through day and night
Find your vanity before winter wrinkle all sweat
I shall wait to the corner of your heart all night
Visit me more often than you thirst for water
Water my dust with your pure tears
Look for signs to those flourishing flowers
And sing my last rhymes of sweet poetry

A Soldier's Elegy

A kestrel dips into an updraft
thinking he knows the world
tranquility gurgles
through silent valleys
over mountains
around the earth
through the wind

The creature soars ever higher
in great swoops and dives
the horizon curves as it eludes vision
the stars pulse their siren
but thrill denies
adrenaline overrules
their ambient warning

Gust to gust each fades
quicker than the last
whispers carry the weight of wings
and their soulful song breaches sanity
prayers of rightful good
where petty purple banners
crest twinkling hearts

The last thermal ridden
last lyric dies
as flight’s drone fades
upturned wings alone
the sky empty oblivion
as the sun aligns its beady eye
to the looping path of the bird

Two brittle forms
grapple in light
which blots out the senses
and protects
what can never be touched
divine oblivion
smites the naive bird
an archangel buried
in a crypt
six feet deep.

Dark girl so filled with strife
Dark dark girl she'll take your life
Dark girl stay for a while
Dark dark girl she makes me smile

Dark girl she shows no fear
Dark dark girl she is always near
Dark girl you won't see her cry
Dark dark girl she just wants to die

Dark girl she always lives in the dark
so you don't see her pain
Dark dark girl may never know
how much the light can show

Four Elements

The coolness of water
Flowing through my fingers
The gurgling of a brook
With its healing touch
The serene peace
That a lake brings
Is part of me

The strength of the earth
Protecting all life
The sturdiness of a mountain
Standing tall and proud
The solid, unmovable feel
Beneath my feet
Is part of me

The heat of a blazing fire
Lighting up the night
The tin heartbeat
Of a candle flame
The sizzling pride
Of a bright orange bonfire
Is part of me

The freedom of the open air
Breezing through the sky
The wild west wind
That bends trees to the ground
The detachment from the world
When soaring through the sky
Is part of me.

The four elements-
So different,
Yet all the same
They connect us
I connect them
And they are a part of me.

You are my dragon
You are my imaginary friend
You are my love-light
You are my heart beats end
You are the window to my soul
When my smile wants to
You lift me up
You shower light
From above and below me
Your dragon fire of love
Ignites my soul again

You are my unicorn
You are my buried treasure
You are the thing
That everyone says
 Does not exist
I feel you in my veins
I feel your tender bliss
I know your magic kiss
Never solicitous
Even when they say you don't exist

We are the stars
Communicating with each other
You are my sister
You are my brother
My Sacred Father
Our Divine Mother
When I am asked
How do you know
Prove your higher power lives
I wonder how, I wonder if
People truly know
what love is

I have never had to prove
The love that I feel
The way that your light
Can heal
Your touch
The chills that rush
Around my everything
My temple heart
My body's Internet

As long as I connect with
Lightworkers here on earth
We reach out to understand our birth
Together we experience
Your unforgettable worth
For without this light
I could not fight
My warrior heart would
Fall apart
And die

You are my strength from within

That is why
You are my dragon
You are my imaginary friend
You are my love-light
You are my heart beats end
You are the window to my soul
When my smile wants to
You lift me up
You shower light
From above me and below
Your dragon fire of love
Ignites my soul

A Phoenix rising

When I think of what you have created
The connection that we have
The starlight between us
The way that you guide us
The way that you lead us
I know that we are only as far
Away from each other
As the next star

I sat on the beach
Trying to reach you
Earnest in my heart
Was my prayer
To feel you there
To stare
I look to the heavens
My eyes married the sky
I watched as electricity
Vibrated and waved
Stars your creation
Just as we are your
Your worldwide
Love destination
The stars shine together well
Let this be our magic
Let this be our spell

You make me proud
To be a star for you
With you
I'm also a tree
A bird
We are free
I am the song in your hands
Your favorite love letter
Your favorite note
Every word that you spoke
I am written on
The universe in your
Temple heart
And you are
By far
My earth
My wind
My water
You are
My fire
You are

My eternal breath of life.....

Unbreakable Wolf Soul Awakened

Her eyes glitter in the moonlight
Like amber, golden. Unmoving. Dry and cold
They will not flinch from where they look.
She will not hide her face.

There is no pain

Her for is a wolf. Alone in the shadows
Her body powerful
Her will relentless
She will not move, she us craved in stone
Grey and solid

There is no pain

She is alone as her claws digs the soft earth
Alone, this is her home. In the dark.
Her claws are razors as they paw the dirt.

There is no pain

She parts her lips, her fangs
Glitter in the glow of the moonlight like diamonds
She wants to fight, her heart of iron
A heart that was four times of gold

There is no pain

She does not need a pack
She is one of a kind
She does not need another
She can stand for herself
She will survive to fight another day

There is no pain

In the shadowsame she calls home
They wrap her like an ice blanket
She welcomes it, to hide her scars
The night will not end
And that is the way she likes it

There is no pain

There is no more pain
There is no chains
There is only shadows

There is no pain

I will not break
I will not fall
I will not fail

There is no pain

I am the beast of stone
I am this animal of darkness
I am the unbreakable wolf

There is no pain

There, Was A Country

When across the land, water
And on top of the hut, the cock

When under the moon, dreams
were hope
And in pursuit of good, they
never stop....,
There, was a country

When cries heard, were of
sucking babies
And the speech of our lords
were glad tidings

When man of the cloth, search
of God wisdom
And those we crowned, toiled
to feed our kingdom....,
There, was a country

When plough shares, worked
the ground
And in sweat, fists were never

When the land to the nation
brought forth grain
And the fists of fathers, never
caused pain....,
There, was a country

When drums were of dance and
praise of gods
And voices of mothers were
sounds that soothe our souls

When in dark night, the land
was with light
And in day, evil was never hid
from nature's bright....,
There was a country

When the wind blew our flag
high with pride
And the death of our heroes
would bring grief countrywide

When those of the east would
long to meet our king
And of the west, would feed
from our pastures green....,
There, was a country

But now here we stand...,
Without a vesture of covering
Our streams, crimson and our
streets, a chotic tide

Youths fighting
Fathers toiling
Mothers wailing
Politics, a canker to our

After Hours For Emily Dickinson

After Hours

After hours-
After the final checkout-
After the library's final close-
Forever is too long- for a poets repose-
 Go ye there, Emily-
In this line -And not that one-
Not with regular mortals-
Inclined to caskets or crypts to die-
Yet abscond ye there-
Through a clandestine portal-
And forever- on library shelves lie-
And one minute- before the library opens-
May ye creep ‘cross the library floor-
Then right turn and left turn-
Along those corridors-

And return ye then- that borrowed pen-
Then sleep on those shelves again-

Quite thunder of the heart
electrifying bliss of soul connection
portals to heaven open through love
time lost soul surrender

Gentle breeze between stars
propelling travellers on their way

encoded in fountains beyond the atom
unfolds grace eternal
in our open hearts

Death the Silent Lover

Death the silent lover
always near but far
dedicated to his work
unreliable but faithful
he waits today
but hurries tomorrow
sees, hears his lover
but lover sees him not
he waits as lover feeds
but when he comes
swallows lover wholesale

This silent listener
seeing with eyes closed
hearing with ears blocked
precarious unpredictable
he is!

Quantum Master

A photon here, a photon there
The shimmer of a ghost
a miracle for those who dare to believe

Star gazing at rogue suns misbehaving
Knowing full well that light years are just teary eyes craving
Inside him magnetic fields shift and spin
A crazy dance of violent tides
Free from the cycle of any moon
In the morning dew and heat of noon and coolness of the night
Breathe, the Quantum Master

String theory can make you crazy
questioning Quantum possibilities
In deep seas filled to empty
Such mystery surround that place where we will go one day

How could he live here in my heart
Or be
Both God and man
He is the Quantum Master

You won't transcend yourself, my friend,
but be brave.
Escape illusions and lies.
Does the bird try to flee the air?
Or the fish to leap from the sea?

Watch with your own burning eyes.
You'll dismantle
this core, the same inside and out.
Reach towards yourself
Applauding the pull
to the spinning game.

Feet hopping and pulling the hair,
Try to say no,
and feel
the things you see, beckon,
Around again and back.
hints the way to
and whom to meet. What then?

This is art
the splash of paint
Live it well.

Evil Immortality Part 1

Voices in my head tell me what to think, advising me to poison his drink
When I saw his face so smug and aroused, with their bodies entwined in a passionate embrace, the voices began to plead there case. A little red dress was my attire as my evil mind slipped in the mire. I painted a pretty skull on my face. All is lost, what a disgrace! With my mind made up, I smiled so slight, corseting my intentions tight. Now it was time for me to seek revenge for my plight!

He lifted the glass preparing to sip. His dwindling life was now in my grip. His pretty little mouth spewed forth such dirty lies yet never spoke once about being sorry or kissed me goodbye. Awaiting to see his life drain from his blue eyes, I smiled my twisted skull smiled as he screamed and cried. Tossing my pretty red hair over my shoulder, such satisfaction was taking over. Foamed spewed from his mouth, as his life slipped. Reaching down with an iron grip, from his chest his heart I did rip.

Good night my darling, I whispered one last time. I wished it was different and that you where still mine. His spirit drifted from his earthly shell, I was becoming more distant like a white angel who fell.
I can't believe what I have done to this man I once kissed. I still love him and he will always be missed. This deed will travel with me to my grave. For now I know my soul will never be saved.

As the day breaks, my heart floods with ache. The full moon rises while reality looms. I knew all it once, my guilt will croon. This night I was dreaming of your pleading and screaming. As the scent of your flesh began to decay, the guts of my lover is set beautifully on display. Your body so cold so hard as lead. I hold you close to our tarnished bed, still entertaining thoughts of her bloody and dead. My love, you passed violently. You are in luck, because so will she. Yes, my love, her life I seek, tearing her soul out as she once did mine. My future at best is dark and bleak. Death calls her name. And revenge does my blue soul seek.

Consciousness Creates

Let go consciousness creates....
Streaming the conscious through
Sheets of empty space
Format a vacuum that sucks individuals minds into wormholes
Ever so vibrant, ever so curious....stares into voids mirrors

Wasn't a sound, but I heard
Wasn't a sight, yet I saw
Though I wasn't there
How, I never thought!
Wasn't a word, a bird
Present or past
East or west
Presence or absence
Neither me of you
Or anything

Reach in, as galaxies ripple through every sinking star
Pull out pieces of you that shine brighter than any abyss
Hold on, feel it pulsate through each vein and nerve
Everything I'd present in consciousness

Vulgar Sin

While the flames of passion freeze in your mind,
I’ll be wrapped behind you, cloaked in the sins of the flesh.
Jaded whispers of lustful promises filled with deceitful gazes,
I offer you not sanity, but madness.
Always beside you but never there,
my presence is the churning chaos of scars long lost forgotten.
I play upon your innocence, crushing it in my grasp,
I feed your existence the fermented embryo of society.
Your screams are in vain; I am you: a cocoon manifested from your decayed tears.
A memory surfaces to a mirrored abyss, reaching but never grasping.
Allow the jagged ice to crawl across your skin, inching, creeping, crystalizing a self you once believed in.
I claw at your chest, burning, burning, burning, the existence of your past is frail.
I feed upon your weakness.
Feeding you

Evil Immortality Part 2

Awaiting her return, l stood outside her house, quite and stealthy like a starving wolf. Axe in hand, blade gleaming bright, death loomed closer like a thief in the night. Feeling heat rise, my heart began to race. Soon I would have her blood to taste.

Now here comes the fun part, the voices rang inside my mind "go slice her and dice her", they softly sang. Swinging hard, I was a warrior with a sword.

Dear mother this time I'll finish off my chores. I'll bury his ex under the floor boards. Satisfied that I have settled the score, therefore came a knock on my door, I straightened my pretty black dress and put on a pretty skull smile.

The pretty young girl had been waiting awhile. I greeted her ever so mild. I served her bacon and lied through my teeth. As we spoke at length, I fiercely fought an itch to chop her bloody face to bits. Exhausted, I decided to sleep after cleaning up the crime scene until tidy and neat. Awake and refreshed, I showered and dressed. The voices where finally it rest. Revenge did my blue soul seek but now satisfied. I am again humble and meek....

Ripple Effect

Your hard heart is a skipping grave stone
traveling over troubled water
The consequences of sin
is rippling out on fleshly tear surfaces
Those wicked actions of yours have touched
a lot of people indirectly
Waves of weeping hurt keeps spreading out
Foaming out your shame,
as the sin stone skips across the muddy water
Skip ... skip ... skip
With each skip of the sin stone,
the multiplying of transgressions radially ripples along outward
And your soul inevitably will sink downward
Feel the ripple effect take effect
Sin’s gonna make you drown in wet regret
Pull your soul undertow
with a heavy concrete block of pain
Ripple effect taking effect once again
This will be engraved on your skipping burial headstone:
You skimmed over a lot of watery warnings —
but causing the ripple effect, you never once did atone

The painted countryside

I live in the countryside
beautiful and colorful it is
but it is painted all over
by the rainbow of love so said

The ones born in the place
those who come and settle
acquire new marks of beauty
the mark X that show expiry

People are painted with X
animals are painted with X
the landscape is painted with X
nothing is spared the paint X

Proud and happy everyone is
this new mark of identity
gives hope for hopelessness
in their slumber rainbow is gift

Since inception of X painting
the rainbow of love has vanished
the painter has never come out
but the people feast in trouble

Give humanity wrapped air
and tell them to mind not
as you promise honeyed hell
they will sing and dance for you

The painted countryside lives on
As wrapped trouble adorable
