For Summer's Coming

My joy in May’s sweet blooms is only surpassed by those warm nights’ blossoming of stars in June

Rivers Flow

                          Slowly
                    Running water
           Gently washing each stone
Flowing on down the river bed
                          Blindly

                       Searching
Not knowing when this river ends
         Whether it’s straight or bends
                    It will just flow
                        In peace

Yellow

Yellow
A dandelion,
Maybe flowing blonde hair,
Or like a golden wedding ring.
Warm sand.

Sun Dear

Feeling hot, hot, hot
seems the mantra now
Forget a song
Can't even hear a meow.
Calling to you, Sun Dear!

Uncomfortable heat
Smelly colleagues
Even in AC rooms
no respite indeed.
Listen to me, Sun Dear!

All this money
in my purse
Can't go out
This heat's a curse.
Appealing to you, Sun Dear!

Drip, Drip, Drip
My sweaty neck
And then the back
What the heck.
I am melting here, Sun Dear!

I can feel myself cooking
going hiss, hiss, hiss
A good sunny day
doesn't refer to this.
No more havoc please, Sun Dear!

First love
Innocent, pure
No holding back, let go
The freedom breeze, the memories
Live on.

Natures Great Gift From God - The Cinquain Style

~Natures Great Gift From God~ ( The Cinquain Chain Style) Nature Great gift from God Trees are nice, important They give us shade, fruits to eat too And more And more Many nice things Trees give us paper and Houses to live in and nice books To read To read Learn everything Nature is beautiful All the flowers and plants grow too In spring In spring See deers and frogs Around forests and ponds Butterflies dance, bees get honey All day All day And night a gift From God, summer, winter Spring and fall, beautiful nature All time. NATURE precious moments

inspired by love of nature contest theme

Long days
Of August sun
Where nature blinks and shrinks
The dying grass,yellowed in sleep-
Held fast
as
Oat grass
Tinted old gold
Shimmers on tall green stems;
On a clear warm light of evening sun-
Back-lit
the
Brimstone
Awakens,then
From each flower hovers
On the drying wind of the breeze-
Sun-lit.
