Priceless pearl
my hidden diamond
love's sweet jewel

Heaven sent
Angelic countenance
Beauty so pure

Lovely daughter
your character delights
my devotion forever

Heartbeat on screen
My unbelief ceased
the moment
first squeezed my finger

The Family That God Gave to Me

The Family That God Gave to Me I think about the family, that God gave to me... And think about where they'll spend eternity! I think about the good times, that we've had. And the trials we've faced... Both good and bad! God helped us to overcome adversity together! And proved his faithfulness... Today and forever! He showed us the Godly path, that we should follow... And promised to be with us! Today and tomorrow! He's proven how much he loves us! And how much that he cares for us! Thank you my lord, for all you do! Where would we be? If not for you? You've proven yourself over and over again! Thank you so much, for being our friend! By Jim Pemberton

Qualities of Health Engendering Women

They see strengths
Not the limitations
These are people who will make you proud of yourself
They will tell you why you’re special
Trust you to the point you have to answer their expectations
They make you better than you normally are
You can be proud of yourself
They respect you
For what you’ve done
Where you’ve come from
They see what you’ve experienced something real
Respect you for your courage
They live by their rules
They do not expect you to follow theirs
They are at peace to themselves
They are not proving anything to you
They are good listeners
Sincere in their interest in you
You feel important
They are available for honest
Genuine discussion
Makes you want to share yourself

God Gave Us Brothers And Sisters For A Reason

God Gives Us Brothers and Sisters For A Reason!

God gives us brothers and sisters for a reason!
As children, we have each other, throughout the seasons!

We laugh and play together and do all sorts of things…
Often not realizing what the future of life brings!

As kids, we often share whatever life may give us!
And stick together, no matter what trials may face us!

But, as we grow older, too often, we part separate ways.
And lose any contact with each other for countless days!

I’ve seen all kinds of things tear families all apart.
Often, there’s some kind of
 unforgiveness of the heart!

If you, and your siblings, have reached a separation…
May you seek Jesus for
a Godly reconciliation!

As family, whatever divides, must be lifted up in prayer!
Where two or three are gathered… God is there!

Just think about what the family unit has become!
The love of Jesus must be what binds us all as one!

Getting along as a family, is more than just a “feeling!”
The blood of Christ needs to bring an “inner healing!”

The family that each of us have,
 may not be here tomorrow!
Are you one who’s holding on to bitterness and sorrow?

May the words of Christ help us all to get along!
That through HIM, our families
will be STRONG!

With a voice as soft as a warm breeze on a cold night.
Her brown big eyes glitter like pearls straight from an oyster’s shell.
I felt my senses tingle in excitement as she reached for my hand.

Walking down the aisle I studied her hair.
Hair filled with rough edges, like a tangle mess of wool.
The scent flowing from her being,a pleasure to my nostrils.

The click of her heels making a sound;
Like an applause after a Toni Morrison lecture.
A sight for sore eyes, I would say.

Her walk flawed at a pace of beauty and pride.
The curve of her neck set; like a bed of roses,
A neck that deserved a sting like a bee on a honeycomb.

Her lips were a crimson red. Parting as she looked at me and smiled.
Her hips were graced; wider than most;
Covered in a silk, loose fabric of white.

I swear my heart was melting.
Her covered breasts were firm and round.
Clinging to nothing but that thin fabric of white.

She had told me it was the splendor of purity.
The wisdom of wine left to mature.
The abundant favor of loving oneself enough to preserve.
No one deserved a piece unless granted by her Father.

But you see it wasn't her appearance that had stolen my heart.
It was her wisdom beyond her age.
Her fear of the one who sits at the throne.

Her bowed head when her knees kissed the floor.
As she sang praises from the depth of her soul.
When she recited all the words in red.

I could see her covered in glory.
I could feel her covered in his presence.
I was in love with a woman.

I was in love with a woman;
Who had took my hand and led me.
Led me down the aisle as a crowd looked on, singing.

She had led me before a messenger;
A messenger whose hand had covered me;
She had led me to the King himself.

His mercy had overflowed me at the end of that aisle.
Feeling overpowered and gracious, I had fell to my knees.
I cried with joy, I cried with pain.

Mostly I was thankful.

I was in love with a woman.
Who the King had sent to find me.
Who I will always be thankful for.

I was in love with a woman.
I was in love my heavenly given sister.
Whose selflessness had amazed me

But mostly I was in love with her King.
Who had instantly become my King.
Who can become anyone’s king.

Anyone’s king once you are guided by the spirit.
Or in my case had sent a his anointed one.
I had fallen in love with my King.

I Know Of Someone Holding Unforgiveness

I Know of Someone Holding Unforgiveness! I know of someone holding unforgiveness! This has led to a life of much bitterness! Toward his brother, he’s held on to a grudge. From his viewpoint, he won’t even “budge.” No matter what God’s word has clearly spoken… He’s walked with a heart that’s been broken! His son prayed that God would speak to him! That he would forgive, so God could heal him! Forgiveness is a powerful thing to do! If you want God’s mercy to flow through you! We’re not called to “hold back,” the love God’s given! Through Christ shed blood… We’re all forgiven! May the love of Christ come and touch us! It’s no secret how much God really loves us! Please come Lord Jesus! And touch our soul! May we express your love, wherever we go! May God’s gentle love, be what always binds us! HIS words; “love one another,” do remind us! By Jim Pemberton

To my brave Sister who faced death and to my 2 Nieces

To my brave Sister who faced death and to my 2 Nieces;
Once more permit me Sis- for this will not be my last I can’t resist commenting on- whatever may have passed.
But must relate on that- Which I am about to unfold The story of a Marine soldier I know, Fifty Two years old.
However high we aim in life,- Too often we fail to hit.
We find the fairy tales told to us as youths-Were often full of shit.

In your success, in what you have gained,- Is more than I care to admit.
My sins as your brother and that of your mother- I pray you will acquit.

However, in my latter days- I’ll now devote with care.
To tell the story of a Marine soldier I know- Trained to avoid the latent snare.

Had God decreed her birth - On the morning she was born
With blond hair, blue eyes and beauteous features- Only an angel could adorn.

Later in life, She became a wife- When his eyes beheld her charms.
His growing sweet passions desire- sparked off like wildfire in a three bell alarm.

Two angels of her own did through their love they had produce.
Determined to protect them from any and all the world's abuse.

As the years advanced, to her little girls she had taught
What suited best their age, to that she had then brought.

While my sister Marine and daughters were still in their youth
Went about all their daily duties and focused on religious truth

In holy motives she led them, now ten years have passed away
The Lord is our Father, He is the potter -and we are but the clay.

She told them of the Father's Paradise and Heaven above
About a perfect God-Man named Jesus and His sacrificial love.

She told them the Peace of Christ makes fresh her heart
A fountain ever springing, -singing a new creation, a new start.

Stay strong my sister, I love you!

Sisters Forever

Sisters forever
Working side by side
Closer than ever
Distance means nothing
For one day soon we will depart
And like the waves of the ocean will return back again
One day we will bask in God’s light
And illuminate the others along the way
Soon there will be no more sidewalks to traverse
No more lost and hurting people to minister to
Soon there will be no more hungry children to be worried about
And prayers going up for their wayward mothers
Soon there will be only joy and singing
As we bask in the light of God’s love
I will never forget my sister’s heart
For it is a huge piece of my Savior’s
Staying up late making candles for neighbors for the upcoming three days of
I envision you standing there working the soil with your bare fingers
Planting seeds for food for those who are left behind
And collecting seeds for the new spring harvest
What will we do when there are no more sidewalks to preach on?
What will we do when the wax has burnt down to the end of the candles?
What will we do when the Great White Throne Judgment has been executed?
And there are no more souls that need saving?
I will never forget the days that Jesus placed us together for this harvest
I will never forget the nights we stayed up all night on the phone in prayer
Just a few short days is all we have together
The rapture of the bride is at hand!
Love you forever!
Your middle sister, Gwendolen

Is It God We Trust Or Leave In the Dust

Is It God We Trust? Or Leave In the Dust? As our courts remove God from this great nation. We are left with a confused and lost generation! As God is taken away from our public schools. A huge tide of immorality is what “rules.” The Bible is often mocked and discarded. It was on it’s principles this country was started! Just about anything of God seems to get scorned. So many “rush” to worship many ungodly forms. As God’s name is often tossed and thrown out. We tend to forget what HE is all about! Too often, his plans for living are tossed and abused. No wonder, there’s many who are lost and confused! As people forget God and worship the fallen creature. They look to themselves and “glorify” their features. Many ignore God, and get involved in deep addictions. And with this, come disease, heartache and afflictions! As God looks and sees this nation “bleeding.” It’s his righteousness, that we need to be seeking! If we would humble ourselves, he would hear our prayer! He loves all of us! And he really does care! Won’t you come to HIM, And invite him in? Won’t you allow him to be your master and friend? He brings strength and nourishment to the soul! It’s only in him that we can be made whole! Need for healing hands

Need of healing hands.
Dear God,
Lay your healing hands on those that need.
May your hands take what's wrong away.
Don't shy away from this call.
We all pray for their needs.
Lay your hands on the sick
And take the pain from them to fix.
Lay your healing hands on their head.
Bless them as we pray in your name

The Way Towards Great Hope

Prayer gift of the Spirit
Makes us men and women of hope
Prayer keeps the world
Open to Eternal God

To pray alone is good
Even more beautiful
To pray together

Many ways to become acquainted to Him
There are experiences, groups
Encounters, Courses
To pray

Take part of parish liturgies
Be abundantly nourished by the word of Eternal God
With active participation
In the Sacraments

The baptized
Confirmed by the Eternal Holy Spirit
The Holy Eucharist, communion
So as to live as authentic friends and witnesses of Father Christ

While kneeling and praying and talking to God;
He said He did not like seeing the sisters at odds.
He was tired of the cussing, fussing and fighting,
He was tired of the gossip, strife and backbiting.

We say we are His children and we love Him so,
And the way we treat each other is as if we don't know.
That if we search His Word in it we will find,
That even Euodias and Syntyche were not of the same mind.

They labored with Paul, yet they both were at odds,
And their anointing; their gifts were given by God.
There was no need to argue and no need to fight,
No need to gossip, tear down or backbite.

Now these ladies may not have done all of this,
But as women of God, they did one are two on the list.
We are not in this walk for fortune or fame,
We are not here for a reputation or to make us a name.

We are in this walk to give God glory, honor and praise,
Deny ourselves, take up the cross and do what God says.
We must refrain from criticizing and putting one another down,
We must give words of encouragement and put a smile where there is a frown.

As pieces to a puzzle we must be perfectly fit,
Working as a team to pull souls from the pit.
Building up, building and not tearing down,
Bringing home a baptized church and then we'll get our crown.

For together we stand, divided we fall,
We must live a life that is a light to all.
So ladies let us come together in love, joy and peace;
No longer shall we be at odds, let the division cease.

A prayer for my brothers and sisters

A prayer for my brothers and sisters

Dear Lord I come as humbly as I am,
Asking you to give my brothers and sisters strength,
So that they will make it through their life.
I know the road ahead of them is going to be ruff ,
give them faith in knowing that in you Lord they can trust,
in you Lord.

I know it’s not easy for them and their going through so much,
I ask that you give them guidance Lord and let them feel your
Loving touch.

I can begin to see the pain they must feel about life,
But when I look into my brothers and sisters eyes the hurt
Is all to real.

So Lord I come to you as humbly as I am,
Asking you to give my brothers and sisters strength to make
it through the their life.

I Think of a Time When I Was Young

I can think of a time, when I was young.
I was growing up and having fun!
I remember how excited I was to have a t.v.
There were my brothers, my parents and me!
I remember at about the age of ten.
My dad thought going to the theater was a “sin.”
There were many things
that as young man…
I later began to see, and understand!
My parents shared God’s love the best they could!
And I read the Bible and was trying to be “good.”
I had my troubles… And problems bear...
But I had a family, and much prayer!
The truth of God’s word helped sustain me!
I knew how much he really loved me!
My parents, may seem like they were “old fashioned.”
They loved their kids! With a Godly compassion!
I’m thankful to be blessed with a Godly love!
My family was a treasure from heaven above!
I think about today, and how things go wrong.
Many families don’t seem to “get along!”
I pray for the blessing of God, to bind them together!
May we all serve him! Today, and forever!
His love must be the cord that binds!
His will must be the focus of our minds!
May the presence of God bind us as one!
Every mother, father, daughter and son!

The Day Before Christmas

The Day Before Christmas

A poem written to my sister Karen (aka Ti-Ti)
Written just 8 days leading up to the day she took her life)

I only love you dearly,
And that is why I pray,
For just a few simple graces,
To bless you with each new day.
May God's warmth encompass you,
During the cold hours of your life,
I pray you feel His arms,
Wrapped around you every night.
May His strength fill your spirit,
When it's easier to follow,
May you lead the lost to salvation,
Teaching peace to fill the hollow.
May His mercy be your light,
And open your eyes to see,
That it is His conviction,
That actually sets you free.
May His word make you wise,
And His truth bring you to trust,
In all the good He has for you,
And walking His path is a must.
And in whatever ways you falter,
What ever decisions you've made,
Always trust in His ways,
And acknowledge Him in all your days.
For God's plans for you are a gift,
A beautiful journey for only you,
Please remember His unconditional love,
His forgiveness and His truth...
May God bless you Karen and keep you in His care.
Today and always."

That's Where The Lord Lives

I walk outside to see all that I can see.
Over there is our house, our home,
In the distance, you can see.
And that place of hallowed happiness
Forever has been our home
And forever will be so evermore.
That house is small but raised us tall,
From the perfect parents who loved us so
To the perfect sister for which every man would want.
The house built us all up strong.
More than a mere building,
It is a place to love and be loved,
A place that hands you hope that you give right back,
And a place of everlasting faith.
This home is where my parents taught me about God
And opened me up to Jesus.
They opened the eyes of the blind for all to see,
And the blind included me.
They taught me to be the best I can be;
The best things in life are free.
They have taught us so well,
And they all have saved my soul.
Even if I am not there now,
I carry Him with me.
I carry them with me.
I carry Their values and Their teachings with me.
In this house, this home,
We reside.
We cannot forget this.
This is where my Mother lives.
This is where my Father lives.
This is where my Sister lives.
This is where We live,
In this loving, caring, beautiful home
They made just for us.
We cannot forget this either.
This is where it all began.
This is where the hunger and thirst was created;
This is where we are fulfilled.
We cannot, we must not forget this:
This is where God lives.
This is where Jesus lives.
This is where The Lord lives;
The Father and The Almighty.
This is where We live;
This is where We reside.
We must not forget this.
We must not forget this:
What a beautiful and perfect life this is.

the dollar worth a Windows mite

What's a dollar worth?
Well years ago it was worth a dollar.
Now it's worth a lot closer to two cents than a dollar.
The reason....www....can't be put any planner...
More and more people go on line www daily...
The old cheer 2 bits 4 bits 6 bits a $
All for (state your team) stand up and holler...
Well..that's about gone
8 bits=$1
This was years ago...
Now 8 bits = 1 byte...2 widows mites...2pennies...

Here's some binary metrics for you ...the future worth of a dollar (sic) next to computer memory

2^^3[1(2^^10-10))] or 8 bits = 1 byte or 1PENNY
2^^3[1(2^^10-0)] or 8192 Bytes = 1 dollar , 1dollar = 8192 Bytes
2^^3[1(2^^10+10)] or 8388608 bytes = 10 dollars
10 dollars = 8388608 bytes

It's far beyond 2 dollars = a penny , 3 dollars = a penny etc...

My sister in gold coast New south Wales oz, said dear brother
It's only gonna get worse before I re it gets better.

I think this is what she meant

There she was, looking at me with the love that only an older sister could have.... a sister who existed before time began.
She told me to come with her and I could not say no, nor did I want to.
She was beautiful with her pure Spanish heritage, very fair skinned and long soft, slightly wavy black hair.
We halted our journey as she turned to me and asked, "Why are you so down? Why are you so sad? What is that you say? You say that you just don't fit in? What is that you say... your friends, your true friends seem so far away? And how you don't know if you can go on another day? Come here my sister and sit here next to me, place your head upon my shoulder.
Rest while you may, sit, breathe, relax and enjoy the day... let your sisters dance and make you laugh for awhile so that you might forget that your life seems on trial.
Then one day when you are able, as the spiritual music which plays works its healing power upon you.
Get up and dance as you are led, remember that you belong to the ancient of days and that you have always understood Him in a different way.
Woe is you when you forget who you are... a daughter of the Highest.
So now, have compassion and mercy on the ones... the other children who haven't made it that far yet; that the world is under a cloud of darkness created by a creature who kills from the inside out by creating confusion in a person's mind which then kills their heart."
My sister then had me follow her for a bit longer, she led me towards a beautifully made black iron gate.
I followed her through this gate; a new family, or perhaps not so new family awaited me there.

Human condition

The love we have inside and the love we share.
Is it rationed out are some people scared?, to
show there emotions give love and devotion.

are all so different yet have the human condition,
the built in ability to care. Forgive and forgetting a
fatal mistake, some things happen and it's just left
to late. You can't always be the one holding the

In this life people will hurt, they will thrust
there hurt upon you in times of blues. That is when
we stand like a strong tower in there hour of need.

Show compassion to others comfort a complete stranger,
showing a loving human nature. Giving that warm human touch,
as it goes beyond our sisters and brothers.

Our Love for God and Each Other

Our Love for God and Each Other

“Love for God alone can unite us with each other,
As to complete and fulfill ourselves,
As it alone joins us together as it joins us to God,
From that which is deepest in themselves,
As God fulfills us and we complete each other,
as brothers and sisters in Christ,
As Paul tells us in Romans that,
We are all just a tiny spec of the whole Christ.

Honor To Mother Mary is Honor To Father Christ

“The honor of the Mother reflects on Father Christ”
“Whatever honor and praise are given to the Mother bounces to the Son”
“The honor given to the Queen bestowed on the King”
The Honor we give to the Mother of the Lord was referred to Him Who was made incarnate (personified) of her”

The Mother is honored for her Son’s sake”
“Indeed in loving Mother Mary, we honor Eternal God”
“We will never love her as He loved her”
Father Christ was the first to honor her as His mother
“We will never be able to equal with which Father Christ loved her”

The time goes by and she is still gone

I wish Cheryl was still here and not beyond,

God keep her spirit safe and out of harms way

You are on my mind each and everyday,

The emptiness is like nothing you can explain

At least I know now you feel no pain,

But, please forgive me if I say

We want you back come what may,

Faith vs Proof

Role play and the Bible

(For melissa, who I met 13 years ago on line ,but off poetry soup)

As a boy I believed the Bible was to he taken on Faith and this be truth
Then I hit 40 ,Melissa was__ , uh uh guy , there has to be some PROOF.
there is a U and there is an I..but WE together can do it..
So let the ship a sailing through space ,c'mon slick let's get to it.
Years later I tried to email melissa , she simply sent me away.
Lewis....we have gone too far like Maximillan on the Cygnus in the black hole movie
That's all there is to say.
Lewis my dear friend you were right , it is a matter of faith.
Forsaking all I trust him , Christ....and upon him wait...
Yes, we opened doors of p reception that are meant to remain closed
To prove Gods Holy word. That was wrong. Take it on Faith as springs rose.

The Christian Sister

She sits upright smiling
With small talk prepared
A tear in one eye
Running fingers through her hair
Pride for her husband
Pride for her son
Pride for her home
For herself exists none
Admired, adored, respected
With knives in her back
She hides the longing
For the happiness she lacks
Mental persecution
Overpowers her positivity
But somehow she finds strength
To sit upright smiling
With small talk prepared
A tear in one eye
Having everyone fooled
And def to her internal cry...
