I just wanted to let you know
That I have this love for you...
Although I'm not fast to show
For you, there's nothing I wouldn't do
And I can't control this love
No matter what I try to do...

While I know our lives are separating
Which has got me pretty blue
I just want you to know
How much I love you...

Because I was blinded by shyness
And now my heart's feeling rugged
So this here's An Ode To My Beloved

Oh how I still see you every night in my mind
You're the best girl I feel I'll ever find
And when my eyes would fall upon your smile
My heart would be put on trial
And so if nothing else, I want to let you know
That I'll always love you, that my hearts beat
For you, won't ever slow...

Because I was blinded by shyness
And now my heart's feeling rugged
So this here's An Ode To My Beloved

So I wish you happiness beyond compare
And sorry for the times I couldn't help but stare
Caring, passionate, smart, and loving
From my heart, to you, I'll never be shoving

You will always be in my heart
No matter where we go, how far we drift apart...

Goodbye My Love...

When you’re longing for someone to watch over you
think about building a stairway to paradise
even if it means you must dance alone with you.

It may feel hard for your heart to sing, soul to rise
It may seem like you got plenty of nutting,
no matter, let your heart climb a stairway to paradise.

Alone may seem lonely and off putting
Life filled with love means it ain’t necessarily so
Love fills you with song, if you embrace plenty of nutting.

For when life cuts you down, tells you it’s time to go,
or too early in life you think your man’s gone now,
trust me on this honey, it just ain’t necessarily so.

All alone with a keyboard, is one way to answer how
with things, even when you want ‘em, you can’t get ‘em
but music never leaves you, even after your love’s gone now.

With stuff, when you got ‘em, you may not want ‘em.
Be real and long for someone to watch over you.
With love of men, when you want ‘em, you can’t get ‘em.
Dance with heart upstairs, so you’ll never dance alone.

Long ago I died I wished only To suckle from your breast I dreamed only to hold you As you would embrace me to rest I dreamed that love Would set us both free You denied me the fairy tale You robbed your own broken heart Now, we are both the poorer The mourning makes us both the sorer The canary sings when the new morning rings The sun rises, and a young lovers smile rises You are there I am here The road of one, still has room Wonder when the cloud will lift the gloom I have died long ago No need to breathe on dead old leaves If only the scar on the heart Would open up Only then could the rainbows sing Letting the sunshine in The blood would tumble and flood the floor Flowing right out that heartless door There I would be in soldier grey Ready for the battle to make love stay Into my arms, you would faint I would stare and unspoken I would paint The first small kiss you would awake Open the book, so that verses we could make

One day at a time
With the delusion of anger,
falling from my eyes,
The veil of bitterness,
Torn from the one I despised,
My heart withers in my chest
The spell that cast a shadow on this beauties shimmering frame
That hid a wonder a mystery this woman bearing my name.
I cannot believe I’ve lived alongside you for so long
And missed the chorus of a lover’s refrain.
We like strangers in the night
Ships passing by on a foggy sea,
Have rediscovered each other again,
Fearful yet wanting, the task ahead daunting,
Forever changed by the crimson stain,
Leaving us equipped in ways we can never explain.
One day at a time, we live for these moments,
One day at a time, is all we are given,
And by the grace of God our one day at a time will turn into memories
That we will share over a lifetime.

What is this? This way I feel?
I've never felt before
A desire for a love to heal
A heart so cold and sore

Out with the old
And in with the new
To my past love, I never told
But I'm happy at the chance to meet you

Discovering Love is pretty overwhelming
In my heart, so many feelings assembling
So much beauty in so many faces
Spread across the world, in a million different places

I want someone to hold dear by my side
Each and every night
To be there when I want to hide
And tell me everything's alright

Meet someone with their heart so open, their eyes so wide
Who reminds me of the one I lost
To pick up the pieces, while to my life revive
And breathe love's warm fires on a heart of frost

She's out there somewhere, thinking of me
As I am of her
Just a blank face in our minds
For which our hearts slowly burn

Discovering Love is pretty overwhelming
In my heart, so many feelings assembling
So much beauty in so many faces
Spread across the world, in a million different places

And my past love will do the same
Meet someone kind, and new
Know he'll grow to love her name
Just as I did, and still do

What will come of them, I'll wonder
Pray she finds happiness beyond compare
Under the sun, rain, and thunder
But to share these feelings with my new love, I wouldn't dare

Discovering Love is pretty overwhelming
In my heart, so many feelings assembling
So much beauty in so many faces
Spread across the world, in a million different places

Her Face was perfection, Still see it everywhere
The beauty in her eyes, Please forgive my stare
Though to confess my love,
Oh no, I wouldn't dare...
So I'll just keep thinking of her, But it's just not fair

Her Face won't go away, So engrained in my mind
This girl was different, Unlike any other I'll ever find
Oh how the two of us,
How our lives could've aligned...
So now, to everyone else, My heart is blind

But she'll never know,
Just what I would've done to be with her!
That I'd gladly travel through time and space
Just to appreciate her beauty,
And wake next to Her Face

Her Face comforts me, Holds me tight and dear
Takes me to another world, A new frontier
I'm dreaming where she loves me so much,
That part is clear...
But as I awake, Just shed another tear

Her Face and her love, I won't ever forget
Lust for her will remain, Lips will get wet
I'll be reminded of her,
At each days sunset...
And I'll remember everything, From the first day we met

But she'll never know,
Just what I would've done to be with her!
That I'd gladly travel through time and space
Just to appreciate her beauty,
And wake next to Her Face

Her Face is the sunshine, A universal light
With it's soul and it's passion, It was quite a sight
Oh how just to see her,
Brought me such delight...
But here I am all alone now, Another late night

Her Face will surely lift someone up, With unconditional love
So what will come of me, Can I rise above?
Without Her Face,
I'm unsure thereof...
Because see, out of my mind, to her, I'll never shove

And she'll never know,
Just what I would've done to be with her!
That I'd gladly travel through time and space
Just to appreciate her beauty,
And wake next to Her Face

Her Face, I see it every night, In my dreams
Where everything will all align, Oh how it seems
We're walking together...
Hands together, Along the forests blue streams

Her Face ignited feelings, Things I've never before felt
Just got to play the hand, The cruel hand I was dealt
I will always have my writing,
To continue to dwell...
On a lost love to whom one day, I would've knelt

Born to live,
Never wanting to die,
fearing death to its every limit,
as blue eyed death grabs my shoulders
and laughs with grim
and I fear death even more.
Car crashes, murders, greed and envy
takes me to a place where I can't find hope.
Laughs grow and brings tears to my eyes,
I hope off trains and dodge cars driving down freeways
taking time to sit down and look at my ways,
that push me left nor right.
Up nor down can I see the time tick away
I can't wait till I walk Jacob's ladder,
till a black demon tears me down,
and sins rip me open,
like a surgeon to a patient on a table,
Me, myself and I take time to see the wrongs in life.

Do I dare shake the vines from the dark green jungles
that tangle deep in my mind, body and soul?
I shake with vengence when time turns its face from me.
Time has no time for me
and she takes me by the hand and wastes my life away
with endless heartbreak and drunken whores and buffoons,
who care only about themselves.
The evil souls burn away,
and their blind eyes do not see what they do to others' hearts and souls.

I believe the strangeness of me is that I love too much,
and care too much to actually open my eyes and see what burns away
infront of my very eyes.
I only see what my heart wants to see
my romantic side kills me away,
while my physical being is falling apart with heartbreak and sorrow.
The strange part is,
love was never there to be found,
and the strangeness of me,
is that I love too much to see blue eyed death coming to get me.

My love and I
We decided to go for a midnight stroll
Gaze up at the birds in the sky
And watch the time slowly roll

So by the park, the two of us, together
Walked through this world, we'll change it, make a stand
I will love this girl forever
We're all alone tonight, Hand In Hand

She embraced the world, nature was her passion
Her eyes drowning with love and life
A traditional girl, not caught up by the latest fashion
I know she'd make a beautiful mother, and wife

She asked if I loved her that night
So I took her up to a hill, overlooking the land
As she, It was a beautiful sight
And I kissed her lips, Hand In Hand

Stolen
He used to write to her, doing pen pal letters in his spare time, when not on duty. She replied back in-between marking her students' work. Nothing special, you understand, it’s good to be friends and have fun. Over a year’s worth of letters sent both ways, something young people do. Talking about music and films and their lives. He was Israeli, a soldier and Christian, she was Palestinian, a teacher and Muslim. A year separated them. Out of the blue they came and took him from his homeland, to her land, but he wasn’t destined to meet her. They took his colleagues, too, and killed a lot more. Her letters went unanswered. She received one of his sent before all of this. His side retaliated as they had to do; after all, they had to be seen as strong by one-and-all. Over one month of attacks to free their boys, we’ll show them, no-one will be spared. True to their word, so many died by their firepower, wrecking a country with little done in return. He remained a prisoner, her photo hidden in his wallet. She wrote letter-after-letter, all unanswered. She cried at his silence, missed his words and talking. Why can’t our countries talk instead of having this stupid war? They took my friend and started all of this. If only they would talk and not fight. How stupid they are! Bring my friend back to his people, I want his letters, to meet him! We’ve never met due to the border, a line made by politicians. We are not so different, could this be love, stolen by war?

Pinkish red, reddish pink, their radiance phenomenal.
Curves aplenty, arched up reveals my beloved.
Fall down and I shall lift them up from the ground.
Sadly, dark clouds in white lay claim to them.
Within three months, they will come for them regardless.
As your lips turn pale, my heart utters a wail.
Stiffen that upper lip, everyday I will sing you to sleep.
Until a touch of cold, your lips turned gold.
I am fortunate enough to kiss them a final goodbye.
Their radiance and warmth will never escape my memories.
For I shall long to see them when I cross that road.
