Goodbye, My Child

Where cradled canyons sing
Of ebony wood in the forest
There lies a gurgling spring
Where cockcrows sing their chorus
To the melody of singsong birds
There I’ve concealed my sensuous words
Filled with befitted signs
The saccharine whiff of my designs

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

Where the fogs of night are fountains
Spills of glistened moon ignite
By distant silhouette mountains
We dance with passion of fight
Entwining ancient stance
Mingling hand in hand we dance
Till the mountains smile on high
Near and far we spring
To pursue the realest of dreams
While the world cries at its seams
Anxious in trouble to cling

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

To where the ridges merry make
From the beaks of wooden bright
In sparkly pools the ghouls awake
That scarce to stir our night
We watch for seekers down under
Muttering secrets in their soul
We bid them lucks of shivers
Dipping gently in
From reeds that hide a tear of a foal
Under the gentle rivers

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

Far away she shall ever churn
The taciturn eyed
She’ll listen no more to turn
To the working mills beside
Or the scrubbing of the barn
May peace weave in her song
She shall wave in the yarn
To a haven known as Belong

Come to me my mortal youth
To the wild realm of your truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only your tears be found

For she comes, the mortal youth
To the wild realm of her truth
Where nymphs and gnomes abound
For the earth is filled with weeping
And only her tears be found

Unexpected events

My watch is broken, I can not wait for you to get here
The sun is heating,(I cannot believe) today, we're finally meeting.
I'm not quite sure how I'm gonna act or what I'm gonna say
But of one thing I'm sure, when you'll be in front of me, you'll take my breath away.

While I'm waiting, my mind is flying away
From the moment you'll get here, to the first move you'll make.
I just wish, this day to be perfect
I hope I'm ready for any unexpected events.

It's getting late and you're nowhere to be found
I'm getting all kinds of emotions, but is nothing I can do about..
The park is empty, looks like the rain is gonna arrive
I guess I should be going too, nothing makes me stay around.

Maybe you got stuck in traffic or you've just changed your mind,
Either way, I better go now, maybe we'll get to meet some other time..
And now my battery is dying, I have such a lucky day,
I don't think this day could get any better,
           >>no 'eff!n' way!!<<

Where should I go now? to the hotel or to a pub?
I'll get me something to drink before Imma call it a nite.
I don't find my card key, guess I'm losing my mind..
Who the 'eff' are you 'my friend'?
Why do you have to honk so loud?

    you: Hey!!!
    me: Gosh, you scared me!
you: Where are you going? don't we have a date?
me: Hey, you're the one that got here late.
you: Yeah, I'm sorry. look, I've been running all the way...
me: Cool. I'm glad you came.
I'm starving. where you gonna take me?
you: well, since our picnic is ruined, thanks to the coming rain..
lemme take you to my favorite restaurant..
    me: sounds great. OK.

While in the car, you've turned on the radio
And the silliest song was playing in the air
Smiling, you looked at me and started dancing
Gosh, you're amazing. (that's what I said)

We've got to the restaurant
It's getting pretty hot
No sign of the rain now
Guess she just changed her mind.

When I stepped inside
My favorite song was playing .. so loud
And once you've heard it, you took my hand in yours and smiled
you: Hey, this is our song since now!!

Since then I got this feeling, this awesome feeling inside
I'm with the right person and the nite has just begun
You're full of surprises, beautiful and kind
For me you are so special, I'll roll my dice tonight.

Next thing I know, we were back in the car
The music was playing loud, you were driving too far
The last stop we've made, was at the hotel I'm staying
You grabbed me in your arms and .. and then's when it started ... raining.

The weather gets colder, your hand is on my shoulder,
I ask you if you want to come and wait inside.
The fireplace is on, your clothes are on the stove
I bring you comfy clothes, while you're in the shower.

The rain is falling from the sky, the night is deep, looks black and white
I pour you a glass of wine while getting closer.
The electricity goes off, all of a sudden
We're in the dark, the music stops - I lit (up) a candle.

Looks like the rain has stopped now (or for the moment)
I pour you another glass of wine..
I touch your hand, you're grabbing mine
And pull me closer.

The last thing I remember, you were playing through my hair
I felt your (warm) breath down on my neck and I've kissed your shoulder
Slowly, you laid me down, on the floor, whispering something in my ear
Your fingers were walking down my spine, I've closed my eyes.. that's when we've kissed.

We've spent the night together, sleeping in each other arms
I was your blanket, you were my pillow - the dawn was coming fast.
I woke up and.. watching you sleeping
You found me smiling when you've opened your eyes.

Things went so fast - time was flying by
Only four days, until we say goodbye.
All the sand from the beach, the pictures framed in our minds
The scrambled eggs in the mornings, (all those) kisses (stolen) through the night.

While I'm counting the seconds, my mind is flying away
From the moment we've met, to the last thing you'll say.
I just wish, this day to last forever
I hope our story will never have an end.

In the airport, while waiting for our planes to come
Our silly love song was playing one more time
And once again, you took my hand in yours and smiled
That's when you've asked me, if I want to be ... your wife.

One Last Dance

Every night I think of you With eyes full of love I come to you in a dream you won`t remember `Neath sik weaved sheets I hold your hand Upon your pilllowcase I leave my kiss in a short memory you won`t recall To the wet sand I tiptoe slowly following footprints which aren`t there 'Nesth cross-stitched stars I walk the path of a sweet destiny so long forgotten where fingers once played with my brown hair With the shadow of the moon I dance Just make pretend I`m there with you Along the shore I pick the pebbles which once we tossed into the blue A sound I hear in walking distance Must be the voice of someone else Or could it be your hush~hushed whisper Asking me gently for one last dance

Images in Sophisticated Colors - Rewritten, have another go

In early morning light I wheel myself outdoors. The vibrating air lively with small dancing aphids. In distance near, that booming sound of crashing waves against the sand, waves with their perpetual wish to walk the shore. Waves, so powerful, so strong yet so dumb, a caged animal wanting to escape. I want to escape the prison that sometimes is me, but not now. The air is fresh, the light is sharp, the wind brings longing and the salty fragrance of jelly fish in their frail beautiful dance in water, so plump and sorrowful in death on the shore.

waltz in ozone sun song of life and love in blue: waves of soothing sea
The beach also represents my love for dance and motion in harmony with nature, The evening light with its orange colours chant words without speech, that only need to find their way into sentences, born in movement. Stars and nightly black guide thoughts into music, where I see me dance the way I once did.
soft water ripples around the wheels, inviting to dance forever
I write down images in sophisticated colours, the eternal dance of fragile mentality, and physical injury, seated here, in the evening shade. Slowly darkness sends away the tangerine sky, covering me with a blanket of warm yellow, and small smithereens of starlight. A myriad specks reflected in the soothingly speaking sea that nibbles at my feet in tender kisses of friendship.
musical shower courage in frail harmony, water in motion.

dance like a crab

Slept on a bed of mermaid tears
dreamt in mother of pearl and aquamarine
...and I swam for a million years
in jaded whirlpools, crystal rainbows
grew fins and gills made of stained glass
Neptune's choir rang ocean bells
infinity just turned back the clock.. then laughed

...and I sinned with a sticky-petrified smile
performed miracles with a grimace
in the end the soul filling with sand
piper songs retreated from swollen lips
doesn't a dying heart dance like a crab?

The Beach of Promises

The Beach of Promises

Fingers entwined, barely touching,
turquoise waters teasing your dancing toes,

strolling along that serene deserted beach,
our promised dreams within aching reach.

Hands clasped, holding on,
sea-breezes tickling the nape of your neck,

walking together, alone, vowing to never breach,
the dreams dreamed on that faraway velvet beach.

Hands in my pockets, alone,
traces of you linger, teasing,

lost in my scribbles, your memory fading out of reach,

my thoughts ablaze, now and then,
catching a whiff of your fragrance,

wafting through alleyways of nostalgia,
your hand in mine on our pristine beach.

Who am I?
Am I defined by what is near in sight?
Am I defined by what I have done,
Or am I defined by what I could become?

Perhaps I'm of no use.
To him, or her, or I, nor you.
Or perhaps I'm too misunderstood to be defined,
And it is something like understanding that comes in time.

And if to the world I'm never shown,
Yet in my own light I've grown and grown,
And so I can know no happiness but my own--
The reason for my smile, to you, will forever be unknown.

I do not pray for the world to know my name.
For it and verse; the letters are the same.
And if a man should find his sorrow in what he reads,
I pray his pain my words to keep.

Should his eyes rain on my page,
Better tears than storms of rage.
And if a man should find his sorrow in what he reads.
I pray his pain my words to keep.

And if to the world you're never shown,
Yet in your own light you've grown and grown,
And so you know no happiness but your own.
Let the reason for your smile, to you, only be known.

Dolphin Dance

Frothy frolic in deepest blue.
Darting, dashing, quicksilver flashing.
Blue shadowed flight.

Aquatic ballet in gentle waves,
pirouettes, twirling, gentle swirling,
Dolphin’s diamond dance.

Diving down beneath dark depths,
dolphin’s speak in ocean’s deep.
Underwater symphonies.

Racing ships through salty spray,
abysmal tides, grey dolphin glides.
Graceful energy serene.

the Shag

I know a lot of you will think
that a word like ‘Shag’ is a terrible thing to use.
But, in my life, my world, if you care to discuss:
you’ll learn a thing or two of southern syllabus.
Along about nineteen fifty four, as I recollect.
In a small Myrtle Beach bar ------trendy, circumspect.
Nameless here for the sake of patent rights, and permissions
not asked for, you know the gist—legal fights.
But none the less, the fat boy’s ambitions
live on.
Not only in the name of his Bar, you see;
but the name of the dance.
And the name of the dance is the S-H-A-G
Yes,here it is more than sixty years later.
The shag clubs number a hundred or better.
And that is conservative I would think.
For in the south, still home to the skating rink.
Still, beholding to the thought of romance.
It’s fitting to claim, and often to brag
of a dance we own and still love- - the Shag!!!!

The Glass Goddess

All around me
Great cities made of sand.
Green sky scrapers poke through the ground
To thrive in life’s strict conditions
And melt away with the tide…

Great houses made of cards
Form lines, and tightrope walk existence,
Knowing that any moment, the wrong brick may fall
And buckle our world to its knees
As Mother Earth shouts Jenga! from the sidelines.

So while were here
We dance with the Glass Goddess
Poised miles above reality,
Leaping over the heavens on our domino stilts-

We floor it in the sky
Living death in the fast lane,
Seizing the day
Because any moment
We could disappear

As I gazed into the sky in the middle of the night, to my surprise I saw an object coming towards me from the moon.
From an object it turned into a fascinating creature, from a fascinating creature it became an indescribable paragon of beauty.

She was so seductive and attractive. I could not resist her. Her love is like an ocean that has o end.
She is like an angel that has no spot or wrinkle.
Her hair is like the expensive wool of Lebanon.
Her lips, so smooth and attractive
Her tongue, instinctively seductive and ravishing

To my surprise and amazement, she turned her back at me methodically and rhythmically.
She mysteriously shook her waist and I saw the most well carved art work of the Creator.

I saw her well-constructed behind invitingly stirring at me.
How could I resist such one in a lifetime offer?
Then turning directly towards me, I saw the most tempting and sensuous breasts in the whole universe.

Both breasts danced like a football in the field of play.
Now, I am trapped. No way out. Who will rescue me from this illusion. Illusion? No, I would rather call it fantasy. But no, it became a reality that I cannot but face.

Oh! Queen of the night you are just a relic of pleasurable island of paradise and unending love.
Please take me on a ride to your world of Eldorado.
Queen of the night
You are my queen of the night.

Summer is lemonade

Summer is a lemonade
Summer breeze blowing the grass around
with a warm sun kissing my face
blue skies wrap and hug me
as I watch the butterflies race.
Summer gives me lazy days
coloured flowers and dancing trees
smell of charcoal and starry nights
brings back childhood memories.
Summer is an endless beach
sun cream, bikinis and beer
salty seaspray, fish and chips
postcards saying "wish you were here".
sunburnt shoulders and fun fares
laughter never seemed to fade
grab the ice and share around
yes Summer is a lemonade

Ballet On The Beach

If ever a moment in real life deserved a romantic,
Melancholy backing track, it would have been that one ...
We'd spent the entire afternoon at Ferry Beach, sunning
And playing frisbee, I playing guitar, she practicing her ballet
Barefoot on the beach, (as I watched the regular patterns it
Made in the sand), and walking down to the end together,
Where the cliffs push the road up and away from the water,
Like a rocky pie crust or the crumbly edge of a fruit tart,
Not fit for anything but a proper end to the beach and sea,
And the proper place for them to meet. We had just enjoyed

Our basket of goodies for an improvised "lover's" dinner -
A couple of different cheeses, dry blush wine, Belin crackers,
Prosciutto, and fresh baguette - topped off with honey kefir
And fresh wild strawberries, small but so tasty. As it was now
Late in the day, everyone had gone home a couple hours prior,
That is, everyone who had been around the point - there were
Still a few people on the opposite side of the peninsula, near
The parking lot, but that was about a ten minute walk from
Where we had arranged our blankets, just nigh of the dunes
And the snow fencing. This was years before it became the

Dog-walking haven that it is now, so no one ever came around
The point much after 6PM, and knowing this we would take
Advantage, like it was our own perfect, private beach. As the
Sun got nearer to the western horizon the temp would drop
A bit, and we'd huddle under the blankets, make slow, exquisite
Love, and lay exhausted like spoons in a drawer, pretending
We were an old married couple looking back on a lifetime
Together, even naming our "pretend" children and recalling our
Imagined travels and holidays. If any "stragglers" DID happen
To come around the point before the sun set, we'd pretend to

Be appalled, and comment on how we'd most certainly have
To build our fences higher, and hire more security people to
Guard the boundaries of our (make-believe) beachfront estate.
In the longest days of summer the sun wouldn't near the
Horizon until after 830 PM, and we would always make sure
That we were silent when its edges touched the water,
Imagining it was a hot ember, or a knob of red-hot steel that
Was being dunked into water to hold its shape, and despite
The crash of waves sweeping onto the shore and the gulls'
Cries, we were certain that we could hear the sun make a

Sizzling sound, (though we knew otherwise in reality). Those
Are the silly things you can believe when you're young, along
With the dream that true love lasts forever, that the last
Years of life will prove that you DID make it to old age as a
Couple, and that all those years in-between were even MORE
Wondrous and prosperous than you imagined. But reality is
Often much different, and if someone had told me then that
This amazing girl and I would one day be thousands of miles
Apart, and that she'd completely purge me from her life and
Mind and heart, and that I'd go over thirty years without

Ever hearing her voice or seeing her smile or reading a
Loving note written by her petite, graceful hand, and that
This gorgeous, talented, brilliant young woman, who I was
As close to for five years as any two people have ever been
Or could ever be, the girl who had promised her heart and
Soul and life to me so many times I couldn't count, if they
Had said that she would one day not care to even speak my
Name, or wonder whether or not I was still alive or happy,
I would have thought that person was out of their mind.
For I was never as alive as I was then, and never so

Completely sure about ANYthing, as I was my love for this
Girl and her love for me. Yet life blew us both around like
The grains of sand on that very special beach, swept us
Both up, and carried us off across different oceans, setting
Us down a lifetime and a million breaths away, with a
Hundred broken hearts from then 'til now, and a hundred
Stories of others and tears and pain and laughter and joy,
All shared with someone else, or a dozen someone elses.
Now the life I have that has nothing to do with her, is as
Real as THAT life was that had EVERYthing to do with her,

Yet my heart is still the same heart, and despite all the time
In-between, and the wholly different existence I have now,
It STILL longs for her, and all that those silly dreams meant
To the both of us, all those soft, summer sunsets ago. Now
The sun is once again nearing the horizon, and the days of
My life are shortening, and I dream of the things that once
Made me feel so alive, and the ONE who made me feel so
Important and vital, and I long to just once more lay upon
The sand with her, and draw the blankets close ... to look
Back on life with fond reflection and joy, and recall how

Foolish and fragile our hearts were then ... to once again
Make slow, exquisite love under the blankets, and lay
Spooning, exhausted. But alas, dreams will once again
Have to suffice, and she will have to remain in my mind's
Eye ... I will have only the memories of her to warm me now,
But we learned to be EXPERT dreamers, she and I, and as
The sun of my life sets into the sea of ages, I will imagine
Her smile and feel her perfect hand in mine, I will listen
Carefully to the sizzle of the sun and the slowing of my
Heart, and I will watch for the regular patterns in the sand,

As she dances her ballet ... on the beach before me.

River of Me, Ocean of You

River of me
Flowing into ocean of you.
Carving rock, drifting branch,
I come to you a drop at a time.
Will I wash away in your vastness?
Lose myself in your crumbling waves?
Or together, shall we coalesce in aquatic dance
Dissolving before become one?
May our embrace be a whirlpool to the depths.
May our passion storm chaos upon the clouds.
For you are brick upon Impact,
But silk to the touch.
You are pure music.

Alas, the sun, she calls me,
Her heat drawing me skyward.
From your arms I must depart,
As our love vaporizes into thin air.
Static whitewash, curling crest,
Your brilliant memory is all that remains.
Until we meet again,
My dear.

Ocean Dance

Soft sun, dripping through
the trees, landing on
her smiling face.

Waves made of laughter
crashing down in dreams
lost in the cool light.

Gone are the days of
fanciful sights and gold memories.
Now she has seashell thoughts and
ocean air dreams.

Wind and salt against her skin,
soft, crushed powder beneath her tanned feet.
Smelling sea breezes calms her mind.
Melodies that the ocean plays just for her,
making her soul dance.

soul dance

spinning round and round till i fly up
and hit ground
turning into sea
pleasing me
i grab the bass fish gliding past
i dive into the eyes of the brown green scales
head first never fails
in the soul of the beast i sit
my locks float around the fish shell
his hearts beat started to move me
onto my feet
bend my knees
shake my hips
rattle my brain
clap my hands
the soul of the fish is where i spend the rest of my plans

I would like to dance
in a midst of an African party
wearing masks, half-nude,
feeling the beat,
the rhythm,
and the heat across my chest.
Then I would like to fly
under the infinite Asian sky
liberating my soul, heart, and mind
under the effect of the Indonesian rice wine.
Then I would live for the white tundra
in a solitary confinement,
reproaching myself differently,
maybe in a more philosophic aspect.
Returning, I would go to the Caribbean,
praying the life,
hugging the sea, kissing the sun,
and singing, singing for the humanity
far, far in infinity.

Sun plays hide and seek
Inside wings of skylark
The girl is busy whole day
Coloring dark corners
Marigolds to warm her

Your palm is now warmer
Hitting the road in joy
Heading for beaches and lakes
Listening to music soft
Dance in happy sinew

Time to see in joy and sorrow
Leaves raining everywhere
From birth to old age colors change
Green red yellow orange
Today has to end in tomorrow

Very long nights and short days
Deeper sighs and fewer smiles
Naked branches highlight death
Struggling against snow piles
Wait begins for another May

Salty air breathed from crystalline peaks
I breathe in And catch a glimpse
of the dancing, bowed bodies.

They perform a graceful ballet;
like arrows shot from an archer’s bow;
they leap, breach and roll.

Their eyes have seen ages of brine and shifting sands.
I wonder if they really are the “Watchers”;
like the “Dogon” stories portray them.
Did they once have legs instead of fins
and can we really be their children?

Perhaps that is why they are so quick to help us;
Why a child who can not speak can suddenly come to life?
He won’t be silenced again,
after all, he swam with the dolphins.
Could it be the magic of the dance that heals?

Odd, that they are always there when needed
And can transform a stagnating life
into a miraculous moment of rebirth!

warm waters

don't misunderstand
i love feeling happy.
i live for the moments
that make my voice raspy.

gazing up at the moon
and i'm wrapped in a trance.
a willow tree waltzed around the lagoon
and asked me for one last dance.

warm waters, i see the river flooding.
warm waters, i know a change is coming.

I'm Bad Like The First Time

We are drinking over the sea, under the sky
Oh, no magic while I’m gone
It is what it is
It was what it was
Are you drunk enough to say I love you?

Trying to escape from them
And have some fun with one-day friends
He says “I will take you home”
But I want to be free
I’m tired of captivity

I was searching for you so long. Only for you
You could take me anywhere you want
And I know that you will take me where there is people and merry-making
Take me there, shining here

We are drinking over the sea, under the sky
Oh, no magic while I’m gone
It is what it is
It was what it was
Are you drunk enough to say I love you?

Do you wanna be my savior tonight?
Save me from my mad papi
Naughtiness is our queen
We don’t want to get bored never and ever

We are drinking over the sea, under the sky
Oh, no magic while I’m gone
It is what it is
It was what it was
Are you drunk enough to say I love you?

Today we will get drunk in the old bar
Tomorrow in the lonely hovel
Let’s start everything from the start
Today we will get drunk in the old bar
Tomorrow in the lonely hovel

Today we will get drunk in the old bar
Tomorrow in the lonely hovel
Let’s start everything from the start
Today we will get drunk in the old bar
Tomorrow in the lonely hovel

We are drinking over the sea, under the sky
Oh, no magic while I’m gone
It is what it is
It was what it was
Are you drunk enough to say I love you?

We are drinking over the sea, under the sky
Oh, no magic while I’m gone
It is what it is
It was what it was
Are you drunk enough to say I love you?

Brothers-1-2-3 Oil Paintings Contest

Toes engulfed by sand and pebbles, gentle flow,
Area of sand sloping down to the water of the sea,
Relinquish all the fear and pour excitement into their eyes,
Oh wonderous water, plunge them inside their glory,

Teach them to find a disposition of providing amusement,
As they toss tiny rocks into the great open tide,
Into nothingness with superior improvement,
While the innocent pureness of two brothers collide.

May I hear the chuckles of those handsome boys,
Ringing and playing and singing and dancing,
All the chimes of playful giggles in high spirits,
Ring around the rosie while time keeps passing.

Throw out the plastic toys or save them in the attic,
Lets keep the animated memories alive in spirit,
Go and search for the immersed sea of innocence,
Watch the brothers prance to their favorite lyrics.

Dancing on The Wind Beaten Beaches of Life

I tuck my head under the wrapping of grey facing away from the frothy sea.

Oh how I ponder the loss of the dance.

Who came and robbed me of my rhythm.

I know the steps , the beat, the music, the loss of rhythm ever so present.

The music is silenced .

The beat not beating,

How shall I endure the loss.

What will make it all better.

My love of the dance is still within the confines of my mind.

My body now refuses to move to the melodious sounds.

My body has betrayed me.

There is no hope for the dance.

Then I close my eyes while the sea mist embraces me.

Oh love dear love you are still alive within the confines of my mind.

One step two steps I am dancing once again,

My journey is to a new music.

A music within my heart.

I smile as the sun sets over the horizon.

Another day.... another dance... slower... less encompassing, but, I smile...

The ol; gal still has the moves.... in the confines of her mind..

Dance little ol lady dance... This is your final hour..

Embrace the journey... today ... beating to a different drummer.

Oh smile, little lady at least you can move to the grove of the sunset.

The sun goes down... I sit down tired from dancing in the wild wind of life

The wind sustained me. The brisk breeze held me up while I celebrated life in the grey lane.
