Leaves Talking

Lovely golden red-tinged leaves seem lost in conversation,
Eloquently rustling as they flutter to the ground.
Autumn’s breeze is whispering to them a revelation.
Vanquished they are soon to be. Vanished – they will have no sound.
Eerily the evening creeps, its shadows enveloping the trees.
Stirring in the wind, the leaves now hiss as November’s grieves.

Trembling are the leaves that on lush boughs once brightly swayed.
Ashen is their world; murmuring with fear, crestfallen they lie,
Longing for the green of summer,
Knowing they soon will fade. . . .
Inglorious is our end! Can you hear their forlorn cry?
Now the wind is quiet, and the leaves have all grown still.
Gone is Harvest Moon. First snow falls with a silent chill.

Open Sores

I am a coward with open sores.
I write and wonder who it bores.
I hear my heart and mind argue repeatedly.
I see others carrying out my dreams;
that’s what’s defeated me.

I am a coward with open sores.
I pretend open doors are closed, and walk the other way.
I touch base with the fear in my heart, tearing me apart,
leaving nothing to say...
I worry the world will leave me.
I cry because no one believes in me.

I am a coward with open sores.
I understand nothing comes easy.
I say I’m happy, but even I don’t believe me.
I dream I am healed and brave.
I try to overcome my weaknesses before I’m in my grave.
I hope you hear me.
I’m on all fours.
I am a coward with open sores.

BIPOLAR

Belligerent and irritated by almost any little thing
Insaneness all around me; craziness is what I bring
Psychosis is not the problem; the problem lies within
Overzealous personality; much absorption sinking in
Liar, cheat and manipulator; trust you should not give
Ambition at its lowest; no longer wanting to live
Racing thoughts; trying to unwind an ultimate goal for an unstable mind

Broken Hearts

Broken hearts don't always heal
Regrets may break the seal
Opened then crushed
Killed by Loves demands
Erasing all hope
No longer in command

Hearts that are damaged
Eventually will slow
After life's hardships
Repairs start to show
Tossed onto a pile
Such a sad place to go

Attempting a different style. Hope you enjoy.

Waiting

Mountains crumble no more to be
Oceans of woe since you left me
Thunder rolls and my heart it breaks
Humbly life ends, my soul it quakes
Everlasting grief with no mend
Reminds me daily, it will not bend

Inconceivable, this pain I bear

My love's not gone, together we'll share
In lasting glory at Jesus' feet
Serenity and grace, oh how sweet
Salvation unites on heaven's shore

Yesterday's gone, tomorrow brings more
Only a moment in time we wait
Until we meet at heaven's gate

Five Letters

These are the five letters you left me with:

So you are leaving, walking away,
Old wounds grate against silence.
Realizing a moment too late, what’re you doing,
Reading through all those beautiful lies,
You never meant what you said.

And, I read them, over and over again
but five small letters never seemed so big.

Sad Eyes

Silent sadness subdues soft skin; mournful streams of one grief-stricken,
Amazonian agony and avalanching awe; along ardent avenues, a lonely boy I saw,
Dying in his dungeon of duty and despair, duelling demons in a dampened dull lair.
Eyes the only entrance, or exit, to existence; enigmatically evading everyone’s persistence;
Youthful enthusiasm, long since gone; yearning for the only one who sings his song;
Energy evaporates, with each torrential tear; elegantly enticing his loved one near;
Subdued sorrow, no lip shall quiver; sadness seen only, through a silent salt river.

INVISIBLE

Ignorant to the favoritism; a desire to be special too
Naïve to all the sarcasm and criticism; finding it easy to subdue
Validity still not broken as I feverishly try to understand
Insanely searching for something; waiting upon your command
Silence numbs my body; reaching out for a delusion to hold
Imperfect vanishing appearance; a love so wrongfully cold
Brazen on the outside; while dying on the inside all alone
Love is all I ever yearned for; not this affection carved in stone
Eagerly waiting for a sign; will you see, or are you forever blind?

I Will Wait For You

I will wait for you as long as it takes,
I will not let you go by making many mistakes,
I will be strong while i hold on tight,
Even if you don't care to say goodnight,
I will always want a part of you in my heart,
Even though i am already being torn apart,
I will smile and not act like nothing wrong,
I will always want you,
 It's already been this long,
So if i am alone for the rest of my life,
I was waiting for you to come and let me be your wife,
I know that you will never feel the same way
I am just letting you know even how much you hate me,
 I will always Stay.

SEXUALLY MOLESTED

Self-Esteem destroyed; lost and never found
Engaged in unwanted advances; horror all around
X-Rated is the actions; the pain is something unable to forget
United are the demons, which created the mood to set
Audacity running through his veins; unable to see the fright
Losing all my dignity; fighting with all my might
Lusting for a purpose; one of the ultimate sins
Yearning for gratification; not thinking about the child within

Mortified beyond repair; a terrified child now resides
Open to the vulnerability; a perfect secret now to hide
Losing this perverted battle; feeling mute and all alone
Emptiness has now replaced, a subtle joyful tone
Silence I have learned; haunting memories hiding within
Trust I give to no one; for all of life is one big sin
Exiled from a childhood, that helped make me who I am today
Disgraced by the memories as I watched my childhood fade away

MOLESTED

Manipulated into thinking I know not right from wrong
Overpowered by his stature; my weakness makes him strong
Loathing at the thought that the time has come to go to bed
Escaping all the nightmares; forcing them to the back of my head
Sexually deviant and wicked; he’s completely out of control
Twisted are his thoughts, as he finally takes my soul
Evil vicious cycle; spinning round and round and round
Devastation lasting a life-time; still waiting to be found

FRAGILE HEARTS

Fragile hearts

For many years romance blossomed covertly
Robert was the man of Ami’s dreams. Sadly
Ami's parents had promised her hand to
Giurkiran and the arranged marriage was to take place in
India. Ami rebelled against her parents wishes, she
Loved Robert with all her heart so they
Eloped and married in secret.

Her parents immediately disowned her and
Even when Ami eventually gave birth to
Ajar their first grandchild, they refused to see them.
Realisation finally dawned and day after day Ami’s
Tears fell. Unable to cope with what she had done
She died of a broken heart.

Don't Let The Day Be Sad

D-on't let the day be sad
A-fter the long, lonely night;
N-ovember twenty-second
I-s setting things aright.
E-arly in the morning,
L-et the day gladly break;
L-arge amount of mirth
I-s mending the heartache

B-eneath the wide blue sky
R-ays of the beacon shine;
A-llow them to bathe you,
Z-enith makes you feel fine.
I-mmeasurable brightness won't make you feel bad;
L-et the light bring rapture, don't let the day be sad.

Who Are You

How dare you take advantage of me like that ,
Leaving me stranded with no way to go forward or back.
Using the friendship that we had led me to believe,
That there was trust and honor between you and me .
How you layed me aside and left me for dead ,
You have caused these hateful thoughts inside my head.
Never could I have done this to any man ,
I can see you have no concious so I know you can.
There just one thing I really want to say about this ,
It's been a long time since I have made a clinched fist .
You have no idea how much hurt you have caused,
It won't be me you'll have to face That's up to God
But you will regret mistaking this kindness for weakness girl,
Bad Karma will surely consume you this is my word.
Yes you were able to catch me completely off gaurd ,
Never again because now I know who you are .

C H A O S

Could I not see such ugly drawn out choices.

Hollow I feel such nothing for people it is fear that feeds me.

Alone in this forsaken world with nothing to accept.

Order is such pain that it is nothing but chains.

Souls that bare nothing but lost cause to confusion is such utter mistakes.

Your Eyes

 (Dedicated to Folake)

Your eyes, woman
are like twilight rainbow
amorously bearing aloft passions of mine
toward androcytic ecstacy.
They tell of endless lights.

Night skies clarion the warmth of you
keep me balled-up till
i am tilted to your adorned essence.

May I call up words to adore you,
agglomerate them into a panoply of worshippers
unsandalled before you
like Moses at the burning bush.

And now you seem to fall asleep
but you tell me it's the heavy night
bidding toward a sunny dawn
wherein our love is lighted.

Slowly I let you fall asleep
impatient with the long night
waiting to gaze once more
into the eyes of my lovely love.

Then a lip is placed on yours
and you rouse up wide-eyed
smiling at my romantic move.
We enjoyed the night, cruising on.

Anorexic Infinitian

Skin and bones, some say she's too thin
Kind of looks like a frail stick
Each day she runs, fast paced
Lost look in her eyes
Eats less and less
Torn and sad
One word
Numb

NEGLECT - EMOTIVE WRITE

Neighbours hadn’t seen Johnny since his beloved wife’s funeral
Even then, no one thought to check if the old man was okay
Gasps of horror were heard when his body was discovered
Limply hanging from the rafters of his bedroom ceiling
Even the post piling up in the porch hadn’t alerted anyone
Clasped in his hands a picture of his darling wife and a cell phone….
The last number he had dialled was the Samaritans

Negative Self Talk

Failure is a funny old thing
All of your worst fears take to wing
Lies you have told yourself more than once
Leak right into your brain, like a sponge
Intelligent though you may be
Never a light in the tunnel you'll see
Giving up or just giving in
Always seems easier when
People you meet won't be kind
Always bringing the worst to your mind
Recalling the beast you have been
Telling and retelling you of your every sin.

Live, Laugh, Love

Little babies are born
Into a world that has a
Vicious, 'Dog eat dog!'
Environment.

Long days pass
Amid the chaos of war.
Ugly scars mar beauty, while
Gaiety is almost non-existent.
How can life be so cruel?

Listen to the call for peace, to
Overcome ruthlessness.
Visualize a better life, where
Everyone lives, laughs, and loves.

Animal Abuse

..."Animal abuse should be a felony."

Animal abuse should be a felony.
No creature should be beaten, tortured, and abused.
I have never known how anyone could be
Malicious and demented, so cruel and unforgiving.
And for what, what is the reward for you,
Laughter for a moment, looking big, showing off for your crew.

Animals, I have seen,
Bloodied, beaten within an inch of their lives, dying.
Unloved, unwanted, neglected, abandoned
Starving for food and love, in my head I can hear them crying.
Every little piece of love is needed, every little soul needs fed.
