Days of autumn enter late September,
Yearly glory in hues to remember.
Naked limbs cling to mem’ries of summer
As cool longer nights lead to sweet slumber.
Mountain tops catching the first drifts of snow
Inviting cold winds to valleys below.
Copious colors patch quilts beneath trees
And Nature endows a harvest to please.
Under horizons of soft orange skies
The gath'ring of pumpkins soon will arise.
Upon Halloween each carved funny face
Meets with delight as children thrill to place
New costumes on for the ‘trick or treat’ fun.

The Santa Ana's are here, and the moon is clear.
There is a mystic in the air that whispers in my ear.
Is this a peaceful feeling or does it carry fear ?
What is the passion and hot fragrence of orange blossom that is pulling me a different way , as if this power has been sent only by a Witch of the finest of White Magic, only to calm the Blue Soul I have known my whole life.
I feel a passion that is running through my Veins like the power of water itself .
As if the Moon itself were instructed to warm the air that is blowing . It is not a new moon , it is not a old moon , it is a moon that appears only in ones lifetime to gaze at .
By seeing and feeling the very power of this Moon you will dance your way to Heaven with happiness of what is yet to come.
The Stars around this Moon are unique as if they take the presence of every loved one you and I have lost .
The Witches winds with the warm glowing of the moon, as if I had never met you before , are blowing with the frangerence of Orange Blossom or Magnolia , from a distant past of The South.
As if I know we have been together once before , a Moon such as this . In a peaceful , lustful state of Bliss.
There is something coming .. is it something I have always known or wanted ?
What is yet to be known is as intoxicating as the Santa anas that are running through my body.
As if i have been struck by the power of light , as the powerful moon I gaze at in the Night.
It is piercing my soul with it's only Truth,

In the fall of the golden year
scudding clouds sometimes conceal my pale face, silent and serene
then lift revealing big and bright , orange and eerie
the moon of harvest fall and Halloween
Spring time comes dark and silent ,
I pass quietly thru cool , clear nights
while flowers bloom and the rains warm the earth
preparing the fertile soil for my pure white light
On warm summer evenings,
rising huge in the east, all orange and yellow
I set sail over starry fields and follow the path of the milky way
feeling young and mellow
As I float among the cicadas and crickets
weaving their magical songs of harmony and grace
In winter I glide brightly thru endless sparkling diamonds
set against the velvet black sky
creating lovely scenes of frosted fields
and snow covered forests
Sleeping quietly and peacefully
while the earth is at rest
Thru four seasons I cloak my mother in warmth
and pale shades of color and light
lifting the darkness and lighting the way
as I race swiftly thru the darkest nights

Thank you, Ma’am, for the pumpkin.
I am not distressed in the least.
Though it’s not of my preference,
It’ll suffice for a Halloween feast.
Mother Nature could have mixed up her seeds.
That could explain why the color is bland.
One might think Jack Frost didn’t finish his work,
Or, Autumn is making a political stand.
I am so glad you came with this pumpkin.
Come on in Ma’am, and stay for awhile.
No, I don’t mind it isn’t bright orange,
Though it isn’t the most popular style.
Please, have a seat as good company should,
And quit the uncertainties filling your mind.
Don’t doubt my plan for sweet pumpkin pie,
As giving me this ugly, white pumpkin was kind.

I do not know?
A leaf breaks away
from the tree.
Swaying back and
forth until softly
hitting the ground.
Trees in front yards
and backyards with
vibrant colors of
and reds filling the
neighbor hood around
Watching many upon
many leafs being
blown past houses
until layering the
ground with splashes
Yard after yard
filled with leafs.
Slowly tree by tree
start to become
The sounds of rakes
gathering every last
bit of color into a
crunching of the
leafs as they are
Watching people jump
into the piles and
watching the leaves
fly up and slowly
come to a halt.
Trees are bare now.
Slowly the colors
Bags begin to show
at the ends of drive
Until there is
Knowing deja vú will
be back again.

Sun hindered sultry earth, wet mound of mossy growth,
Cast to my grave way too early, untold secrets held by oath.
My cross bearing name, years untold, vines they wind,
Loved ones, lost souls crying, constrained, I’ve left behind.
Placed six feet under, to reside, by wronged eternal shame,
Respect shallowly given, bare tombstone, initialed name.
Unkempt, desolate, outskirts, socially banished bed I lay,
Once disclosed, a man’s untold secret, during night times fallen day.
Provoking sudden panic, with “vulgar lies” by fortunes truth,
“Prove it” flame torches burned, sovereign citizens, absent ruth.
Those ideas came and went, a mistake, to share such knowledge,
A frightened small town life, unjust powers screamed abolish.
Unleashed a fears throne devil, tied up “witch”, my smoke stack burned,
Inherited genes my sisters gathered, a unions threat, conversed they learned.
A gift of genuine beauty, I’ve stood behind these sorcerers lives,
Through times suspicious husbands, to life’s ‘all knowing’ cautious wives.
For my sisters they kept quiet, by sustained years, their families grew,
Long lived our families secret, a blood lined “witch”, for all she knew.
Overgrown vines for years have passed, Salem nights as they have changed,
Life’s seasons, predicted secrets, no longer provoked by fears deranged.
For these vines is all that’s held me, natures embrace casted shadow,
Death speaks, my lingered voice, unspoken truth will not forego.
Not ruled by judgements nature, for in me their roots have grown.
Unseen, my weathered head stone, dressed in vines, I’m not alone,
A child’s future, my leaves unraveled, jaded visions to them I give,
My torture speaks, a hidden tombstone, the Salem witch in you, I live.

Its your Halloween rave, having your mascaraed
With all your best friends from back in the day
Liz Lauren and Blake and while they're dressed like skanks
I'm on the front line of battle
Howlin like jackle with A real nasty cackle
puttin a razor blade in the sack of Blake's apples
crack in Lauren's snapple
Staddle Liz like mclovin
But I am more like faghole As I babble at her ass
Axe her fast and mash her up like cattle
Sneak back and tackle your dad and put him in shackles
Shove sour patch kids Down your trap and gaggle
Its abominable, so unbelievable
But its inevitable, the end is kissable
I have rattled these kids psyches
squirming like a centipede, cutting them like celery
hear their squeamish screams echo in the streets
as the creepy bells of the chapel ring
I remain a mystery
You'll need nancy drew, and at least 3 of the hardee boys to find what I'm up to
Theres this gloom that looms down in your basement room
Consuming shrooms, enhaling fumes to escape your doom
Witches zoomin by on their brooms makin sonic booms
Quick call scooby doo, but I killed him too
You heard a loud pound cause I cut the fuse so you
Run away to a motel room, assuming your safe
And As you look the other way,
I got my fangs in your veins and stranglin your neck
Too bad you didn't text your friends to tell them who is next
Hmm let me think for a sec. As Hex your boy rex
with an incessant twitch, till he is dead in a ditch
Hang him from bunny man bridge
Yo dude turn the lights on
But there's no flip to switch , I have flipped the script
Its bewitched with no miss to kiss
Exorcist with no priest to dismiss the spirit
So the town clock strikes half past 3
There's one last gas before i must sleep
Or i will crash fast if the light touches me
Put on the mask jack, just like the sixth scream
I need to grasp havoc, till i hear shrills and shrieks
Please back rabbit, these chills aint for teens
As I stick a cherry bomb in your moms exhaust pipe
Run up on you with nine a knife, and the head of your wife
Its useless I'm the nuisance that's abusive yet conducive
To your fear that I am near So close I could whisper in your ear
Smell the shampoo in your hair Wipe the floor with your tears
And as you look up in the mirror
I'm there ready to smear your blood all over the chair
as I stab you with my spear I crush a coors beer then
Leave you re crops there dead, red spread on the floor
But I hear a knock on the door
Are you okay honey? "Yes mommy, just got a cold sore"

The leaves are falling,
drifting down like feathers.
They leave one another just to gather again on the ground.
The cool air is crisp and clean.
Pecans fall from their trees as the squirrels snack and play. Neighborhood yards gather color as Mother Nature is in control.
The anticipation of future Fall festivals grows with every pumpkin carved,
every turkey bought.
The nights are cool and the cozy porch swings, that were abandoned in the heat of the Summer, are again a place of comfort and conversation.
A time of year that brings family and friends together after a long hot Summer.
Fall...a slow down, take it easy kind of season.

Int this starry night
Hidden by the moonlight
Were true love flowers
And true hatred devours
As my life flashes
My future and past passes
I wonder what can I do
For Im dead without my shoe
Ha Ha I may be old
Even I dont know my own age
Just another day In my page
Tonight is the creepshow
And the stinch flows
Halloween i say
Halloween is the way
Be frightened and scared
You will not be spared
Ghouls and ghost plunder in darkness
Werewolves and Vampires are coming out
With there scary spout
As the zombies rise
Here comes Frankenstein
With there deathly cries
The leeches nibble your blood
Can you feel the disgusting
Run all you want
We will not give up the hunt
Goodnight please let the bed bugs bite

Dark, brown, heavy spots lay on a plant this very day, it gives the signal of ending play
For a while no light sun, will rest itself and watch others have fun
While cold, slick, moisture, and pressure of cold, makes it good for growing mold
A time when weather barely has rhyme, a sense that something isn't that fine
So the plant bows down, unluckily not under someone's gown
It feels rigid, but doesn't shake, an act that others call not possible and fake
The plant waits for a chance, being free, though now the eye couldn't really see

When I went out on the porch this morn, tiny spider's mother had strung her web
across right in front of the door..
I did not tell cute tiny spider to go on down yonder and get your mother
No, this mother was scary drawn up with her feet pulled in a ball
When she stretched out, why I had to move on
She straightened me out right fast..
Mothers are like that when their child is threatened..
Just had to write this being Halloween is coming up soon...

Water, smooth as a mirror, shiny as death.
I am the lake, the lake is me.
Are you the mist hovering over
my haunted vision and fractured mind?
Lost am I but bemused by your fragile beauty.
Your cold breath on my face telling me I am alive.
Mist taking me away, quick call my Mother. I’m about to drown.
Moon above, face of my unknown lover.
ME, unexisting and far away.
Stars pinpricking me delicately.
Light years beyond my puny life, my pagan world.
I am you and you are me.
Gods and Goddesses of Mother Nature.
Timeless, you are my moon, my mist, my fog,
my mountain, my lake, my river, my Halloween Samhain 2004.

A ball of orange
A pumpkin ball
Fat and round
stripes that drawl
Orange and bright
White with glow
Stem on top
Bent and frow
Skin that's speckled
Flat and cratered
Like a gator

On a journey we go to Ashton to meet our fellow pagan
friends down at Eclipse. They are just like us
and we all have fun together coz we share similar beliefs.
We count down the days down to Halloween
when we will get together for our Meek
to drink to the witches and celebrate the ritual.
Everyone shall become one as the gods and goddesses come
and join us as the boundaries between our earth and the spirits
thins and our worlds combine. The beliefs that have lasted centuries
shall come forth and continue to do so for millennia.
from my earlier pagan days.

I do not know?
Autumn is the perfect time of the year.
Turning of clocks one hour is here.
The foliage is so many different colors.
Red, orange and tan leaves drift down
on to the ground.
The tree branches are bare, because
underneath the trees, leafs lay, awaiting
to be raked away.
A colorful collage of dried flowers,
leaves, berries, and gourds, makes a
gorgeous wreath for your door.
Pumpkins are gathered with care,
in hopes of being a Halloween scare.
Pies are made from the pumpkins
insides for a Thanksgiving feast
that will be eat.
Harvested cornstalks makes
fathershalks to decorate
your lawn. While the corn
feeds a many number of
Squirrels scatter about gathering
acorns for a long winters nap.
With other animals eating a lot
of food to hibernate.
When you wake up to a cold
frosted morning. You will
know for sure that autumn

Autumn is the worlds last, loveliest smile
When winter comes it won't be seen for a while.
The leaves are falling like they're in love with the ground,
No one can hear them make a sound.
The kids jump in leaves and they love to play,
Wishing autumn would just always stay.
Smells of pumpkin spice fill the air,
Nothing else could ever compare.
The beautiful colors define the season
Making autumn the greatest with much more reason.
Pumpkin lanterns filled up with light,
Brighten up the spooky dark night.
Witches and wizards all in the street,
the kids go out and trick or treat
If you look around you'll get a good scare,
Going out Halloween, I'd never dare.
Thanksgiving is a time to gather and eat,
There's no other time that's quite as sweet.
We give thanks for our blessing all year through,
For our friends and family that have been so true.
We remember the soldiers that have fought,
And all the peace they have brought.
A day for remembering those who died,
The ones that fought and did not hide.
Veterans helped change the world today,
now in our country people can live their own way.
Crunching leaves red and brown,
The autumn leaves fill the town.
There is something nostalgic about the crisp air,
And all the beauty in fall that I love to share.
Nature has been saving up all year,
For the grand finale to appear.

Creatures hide within the shadows,
The darkness of the night,
THe distant sound of an owl's cry,
Now here's a spooky sight,
Little children roam the town,
Many in disguise,
Is there someone or something watching you?
Here a mystery lies.
Children shriek as bats swarm,
And ghost fly in the sky,
Once they pass the haunted house,
They are soon to find out why.
Scarecrows dance throughout the night,
As jack-o-lanterns light the way,
Ghosts and goblins come out to play,
For Halloween is here to stay.
