Twinkling Star

Oh brightest twinkling star
     Stationary as you are...

Watching seasons change
     As they slowly rearrange

From winter's snowy birth
     Whitening most of earth,

To see sweet flowers sing
     With the breath of spring,

Into heat of summer's sun
     Where cooling rivers run,

Until the bright hued trees
     Lose their lovely leaves.

You watch it all from afar...
     My beautiful twinkling star.

I Wish Upon A Star

I wish upon a star tonight to be where you are.
When you passed from this life you left a scar.

I remember kneeling by your bed each night as you slept.
You were sleeping like an angel but did not wake so I wept.

I would love to be where you are even if it would be for just a while.
There is an ache in my heart to see your blue eyes with your smile.

My love and devotion to you has always been forever strong.
I am still here stuck in this life, but I hope it will not be long.

I love you with all my heart and you were my life’s song.
I have missed you so much baby since you have been gone.

I look up to the sky tonight knowing you are far.
I am singing you an old love song with your guitar.

There are tears in my voice crackling as I sing your song.
I love you more, and I hope it's not going to be too long.

- A Taste Of Friendship -

We often take our blessings for granted the same goes for friendships
From ashes of pain inside deep hurt tears flowing ache washed with hope

Friendship is precious not only when you are sad, but also in the sunshine
In the night sky flickering starlight shines a candle of never ending clarity

I will listen if you need me, I never stopped believing love sings forever
Oh why have you forsaken me crying inside a thousand songs

If finding times hard, you will need someone who brightens up your day
Blowing from the deepest sands silently warm fingers touching a whisper

Supported by words of compassion
Love have charity show mercy to my soul

Anytime you're lost or can't see the light
There's never no grounds to hate but shameful emotions weep

Life is worth living when it’s made of good feelings
Tears falling within happy memories always yearning

Stardust Artist

Virgin snow sparkles in the darkest hour
as stardust dances with celestial power.
Silently it rains upon mother earth
giving witness to such an idyllic birth.

A fawn and doe now break the glaze
like tiny spoons upon crème brulees.
Below Polaris they prance and snort,
for they seem to know the time is short.

For such a night is a rare event,
as blue light above is heaven sent.
Wondrous luminescent tranquility
trumps any earthly poet’s ability.

Now the first rays pierce the frigid night
and Orion’s bow soon fades to light.
White carpet dulls now without the luster
of a nocturnal painter, the starlight duster.

Bounces over and back sweet music sings

Thee sweetest lily and flower of Eden’s garden growing wild and free
held under this enchantment where the daises circles around gold

Flower of hearts where there shades of apple blossoms pink
dazzling the night under the teardrops of angels deeply unfold petals

Within a black satin velvet sky twinkling centre of stars your beauty outshines
with piercing diamond light inside a halo you are crowned perfectly regal

Princess of the starlight gaze faraway holding a dream enveloping an echo
enchanted by the magic you spell one in a thousand whispers

Dream Twinkle

Stepping onto the red carpet brushing away clouds silver shining
blue skies sweet surrender bathes with you beloved angel
Stealing one's breath away your love magically appears rose gold crowned
a superstar dazzles bathing within the liquid fountain of a soul adorned

Taking the limelight haunting shadows away warmly beauty invades space held
crystal clear light shining before the curtains raise applauding heartbeats bounce

A thousand dreams draped behind a vision portrait hanging on chamber walls
standing out one alone unique sparkle destiny whistles with the wind

Victory is found inside peace where the heart sets sunshine rises grace filled
kissing you softly whispers I close my eyes there you become a beautiful starlight

Armano the Auracano

Armano the Auracano of Rock Star fame
Will never be singing on his stage again

A fan. a critter, or even a possum
Has taken his life, he will no longer blossom

He was a handsome dude, tall and preened
With shiny red rustic feathers, and did the girls scream

A newspaper reporter asked his manager Dane
It must be hard for you, as you will miss him playing

Yes i will, things will never be the same
But another star will be born, to look after his dames

Star Magnolia

Star Magnolia in the winter cold
Can you give me any hope to hold

There on your branches, buds of silver
In this cold, I feel them shiver

But they are giving me a shred of hope
That soon spring will surely kaleidoscope

My Star Is Gone

My star is gone and soon shall I
to a special place where I'll no longer cry
but til that day my thoughts roam free
of glories past and what could be

The shine is off from steps I take
the passion pled for heaven's sake
of nights of hope in hallows eve
to winters down when roses grieve

In depths of soul in morning light
I rise to live another fight
with sated heart and wanton need
another day is left to feed

In breaths and eyes a painted dream
A golden brush dons blessed beams

A Sparkling Star

Faraway ambassador of light distant dream sailing ocean waves
begging golden spear of destiny strikes midnight bells ring

Spotlighting beautiful stunning to the eyes priceless gem
diamond brightly sparks on a shining jewel treasure find

Mystery shades gasping warm breathless smiles tides turn flutters the heart
beating drum roars as the arrow strikes sexy moonlighting beauty

Hot flushes sweeping deeply skipping flames on magic dust
wishes warm touching inside the darkest night glowing thoughts

Haunting full lips silver pearl whispers silently dancing tunes sing
blowing across deep sands echoes over oceans kissing paradise moonbeams

Twinkle twinkle little star. How bright and beautiful you are! Bring what I’ve been dreaming of - Your sweet and everlasting love! I need the warmth of your caress - Come light my night with tenderness. Darling man, come dazzle me! Your star-shine smile I long to see. Come to me by moonlight, Dear. Our time is now, and I am here.

Evening Star

To my love wherever you are
I pray you shine my Evening Star

Sometimes in life we lose our way
Fall into the trap of living yesterday

Our memories become all that we are
For we have not just fell we fell to far

It can affect the happy as well as the sad
Can’t measure good till you weigh out the bad

More we hurt the deeper we fall
Be still the darkness of it all

At times reflection is a winning game
Face the fear of admitting our shame

Know that after we process our yesterday
We will no longer have that price to pay

Once we confess the sins we have done
Darkness flees from the light of the Son

To my precious love wherever you are
Please shine brightly my Evening Star

Written to my wife while I was in Prison
and lost until we were looking through
some old letters.

Star Dust From Heaven

Star dust from heaven is falling from above
Floating down softly like a beautiful dove

It blankets the earth and quiets the noise
Making a silence for all that enjoys

Each flake falls softly so perfectly designed
Will give us a world that is perfectly aligned

Tree limbs and bushes will droop from the snow
And the rooftops will glimmer to make quite a show

A beautiful painting we have out our door
Just waiting for us to go out and adore.

A more perfect setting will never be seen
Than star dust from heaven’s pearly white sheen.

Brightest Star

Just like the number, twenty nine, I was in my prime
A rowdy reprobate at large whose life had no design

Then one day, the blue sky fell and landed on my heart
A star was born and spared my life picked up the broken parts

She tied me to her finger where she wore me like a ring
Then took control and played me like a puppet on a string

I entertained and danced for her she grew and laughed out loud
And every time she called me dad I danced from cloud to cloud

My darkest day my star took off, bright shooting star to roam
She kept my heart but left some dreams for me to call my own

Sometimes sad melancholy visits me which irritates my scar
I simply walk out on my porch and dream among the stars.

Star Light Star Night

Star Light . . . Star Night

Gazing at the dark sky backdrop on this cold black night,
We are enraptured by the radiant view of bright Star-light.

This is a wondrous sight to behold by all on this Star-night,
Reflecting all earthly things gracious, grand, and right.

The cold beckoning blackness of this very special night,
Serves as the cosmic palette for unlimited points of light.

The enchanting Star-light on this marvelous Star-night!
This Star-night reflects God’s heavenly-made Star-light!

At once we realize the divine dichotomy between light and night,
On that mystical, magical eve filled with God’s Star-light.

God himself implores all who see His mosaic of Star-light,
To ponder ever gently too the dark beauty of His Star-night.

Oh! Radiant and grand Star-light on this most special Star-night,
We are forever spellbound by your God-given glorious sight.

Perfect Star

Star of Heaven, come to earth;
lead us once again to our Savior's birth.

Speak the language from God's own lips;
grant us nectar in honeyed sips.

Invade our hearts with revealing light;
accept our praises this holy night.

Every Soul A Star

Ever soul is like a star
Even though we're far apart:
One day life will kindle it's flame
In star and human, all the same.
Every moment we live longer,
Getting tougher, getting stronger.
Until our inner light shines through
And win back what we used to lose.
Til we're down on our last breath
And who's come for us but himself, Death.
A hole we'll leave when we have gone
Yours in space float upon
While mine is in my dear kin's hearts;
Every soul is like a star.

Thanks From The Unworthy

From a cloudless frost crisp sky one star shines supremely out
Diminishing all other stars in the slate black sky about
It light s a path across a flat calm bay a road my soul must walk
To distant friends in distant lands to whom I wish to talk

To those in need I send you gifts of sustenance faith and love
To those in terror and in pain, I give hope and a dove
Those whose loss turns fair heart black you get leave to grieve
You who now face life alone pure friendship you receive

As my mind walks that star lit path my thoughts they are with you
Who on my unworthy life your great gifts of love did strew
Pain from my old frame you shared and my loneliness did cease
On you I wish health and happiness, love, luck and peace

Romance of Rose and Star

The shinning sun, who warmly glows,
Doth send his ray to court the rose.

And enamored with her velvet way,
He proffers her the gift of day.

Then adds a string of dawn and dew,
In tribute to her crimson hue.

Thus blushing in her lovely way,
The rose invites the sun to stay.

The sun then smiling, with a gleam,
Bestows to her a precious beam--

That she may wed, though from afar,
This charming and enchanted star.

Star Light, Star Bright

Star Light, Star Bright

So awe inspiring is the night sky
Where a multitude of stars lie.

We can only guess how close these suns lay
Knowing very well every one of them is so far away.

They twinkle through the black of nights
Revealed more fully beyond city lights.

Do they have an orbit of planets
Of gas or more substantial with granites?

Are any inhabited by beings
At night also far seeing?

Do they wonder, looking at our Sun,
If intelligence is there or if there is none?

Are they better stewards, than we of the Earth,
Of the cradle of their birth?

Hopefully they very much surpass us
By not having a world damaged by greed’s lust.

I yearn we stop, but fear we continue our foolish ways
Soon to bring an end to our days.

Proving after all we're not so bright
Failing to see the light.

Lucky White Star

I miss watching my Luck man run,
Sweat glistening in the morning sun;

The smell of leather in the frigid air,
Tossing his head without a care;

The soft sounds of the stable yard,
The only place I let down my guard;

Telling secrets to my horse,
Just letting nature take it’s course;

The confidence he gave to me,
My Lucky boy, my trusty steed;

He leant me courage I never had,
He was always there, through good or bad;

My shoulder to lean on, by best friend,
He was there for me up to the end.

A poem I shall attempt to write of heavenly delight,
About all the wonders that shine deep in the night.

There is so much more than the Moon and stars above,
From the earliest navigators that fell heavily in love.

All those that sailed across all the known seas,
They all relied on the stars and many of these.

Often they would follow the morning and evening star,
Just one of five planets that they knew of so far.

Mostly guided by many and many they certainly knew,
Galileo saw much beauty in the Southern Cross too.

The Earth spinning at one thousand and forty miles per hour,
Still, they could master the art of using star power.

So what could they do when a storm came through?
Just stay at the helm and keep the wheel true.

And what could they do if the wind blew them off course?
Pray to the heavens that their sails could take the force.

For life as a sailor meant much more than hard labour,
They had to read stars in constellations to favour.

Forty-eight constellations before eighteen hundred and eighty-eight,
They existed well before the others gathered at a later date.

Then becoming eighty-eight constellations for a general to know,
And used the Pole Stars that never disappeared as they go.

Using particular stars that would always rise and set,
Knowing portside and starboard and which side they met.

In the third century BC, the Greeks used the Little Bear,
These days called Ursa Minor, now navigated from there.

Once Draco was closest to the North Pole than Polaris,
Between Ursa Major and Ursa Minor are the stars over Paris.

The sextant became the most used instrument for navigation,
Before then they had to understand the winds interpretation.

Today a compass is used with the true direction of North,
Every ship you will find has one that leaves every wharf.

But a star gazing soul has no use for a compass rose,
They'd rather get lost and just follow their nose.

For there is something to be said for this lost ancient art,
And I'm sure a true sailor is born with stars in his heart.

Twinkling Star

Twinkling star

Twinkle twinkle little star,
you erase my deepest scar,

As you glitter in the dark,
and superimpose a spark,

I forget all my blues,
and stare at you glued,

Wonder that magnetic pull,
takes up my heart to full,

Notes that vibrate my mind,
turning all crude to kind,

Make me forget my past,
wiping darkness in aghast!

Twinkle, twinkle little star-
How I wonder if you are.
So many light-years far away,
Are you still out there today?
Did you go nova little star?
How I wonder if you still are.

Bright Star

Close those weary eyes and drift afar
Fly up high and you’ll reach the brightest star

Floating on up to that magic place
Shooting stars are helping you through space

You ride on and drink from the milky way
Creamy and fluffy, fills you for the end of the day

Saturn rings with bite marks taken out
The universe a sweet shop, no kid goes without

The Planet Dreamland is our next visit
So hop on board the one way Banana split

Running your little fingers through cosmic mist
Swirls of gems thrown up and you’re sun kissed

So close those weary eyes……and dream

Believe In Your Star

Live…Breathe…Believe in your star…
It is with you wherever you are,
It never leaves you for a moment,
The saint light is in its current.

In storms it helps to reach the land,
Its warmth it gives to you my friend,
It cherish you and gives you strength,
It leads you through the whole life length.

It lights up your soul when it pains,
It brightens up your days when it rains.
It gives the warmth to your heart,
It shows you the right way to start.

Until the last breath it will shine,
That magic star of yours and mine.

Twinkle, twinkle little star
Shining down from afar
Guiding the wise men with your light
To the manger on that night

There a sleeping baby lay
On a bed made of hay
His parents did their best for him
When told there was no room in the inn

From such an humble birth he rose
And gave his life for all of those
Who believe and heed the call
To share the greatest love of all

Let's try to put Christ back in Christmas
He's the reason for the season

My Valentine

My valentine's a star above
that leaves me all alone.
It seems to know I'm happier
when left upon my own.

At night it sparkles brightly
and holds me to my stare.
My eyes left feeling helpless
as my lungs are filled with air.

My valentine's a star above
as faithfull as I've known.
But not for being a wonderer;
for aligning God's own throne.

She looks dazzling in her black gown
On occasion she wears a sparkling crown

She protects me from prying eyes
There`s no need for pretense or lies

She sustains me with her beauteous light
Caresses me in the heat-forsaken night

She tends to my insatiable fire inside
By her light I find delight in new-found insight

She hears my silent screams and
Listens, knowing what it all means

She`s game and with her pleasures generous
I wish to stay, but her dark ways are treacherous

When I ask for more, she cracks a smile
Saying, “Farewell, now rest for a while”

Searching for a Star

I know your plans seem far away,
Like the moon does on a summers day.
You can see your star up in the sky,
But as dawn breaks, your star does lie,
Amongst the clouds as rain does cry.

But all you need to do is build,
A rocket ship to outer space.
Immerse yourself in new beginnings,
As you live the dream beyond the clouds,
And find that place where sun does shine.
