Princess Flower

My sweet Emma, I placed the purple flower in your hair and you smiled. Carefree you danced as the royal color of your shift swirled in its dappled patterns. Heaven could not have made a more perfect vision, every movement a whirlwind of charm lost in a world with too little beauty like that of the innocent flower in your hair, enchanting in its simplicity.

Favorite Flower

Daffodils of gold wind their way through heaven's green pastures
As angels whisper through the meadows of my mind
Fragrance forgotten through the passing years
Forever dormant, lingers in sphere of time
Ominously transparent in the shells of life
Done now are things I cannot change
If only I could return the fragrance that I stole
Letting you know that I seek forgiveness
Soon all seasons would shower daffodils

Bright colourful delicate orchid blooms
Enchant many gardens and living rooms
Alluring flowers in pretty hues, each one
Uplifts its perfect petals towards the sun
Tropical blossom for my visitors to see
Intense colours with such brilliant beauty
Foliage remains when the flowers die
Until rejuvenation happens and I espy
Lovely flower stems to captivate my eye

Spring Is Coming Soon 1

S-uns kisses and soft rain
P-rovokes the earth,
R-ousing shoots upwards.
I-ndelible colours burst into life,
N-ature sings to us her
G-lorious melodies.

I-nsects buzz and flutter
S-oftly between blooming blossoms.

C-rocuses brighten the world
O-rnately embroidering the ground.
M-eadow flowers quiver in the breeze
I-mploring us to be in
N-atures awakening landscape.
G-one are the scars of Winter.

S-pring is busy.
O-bediently little lambs gambol after mothers,
O-pening buds turn toward the sun.
N-ow the earth laughs.

The Foxglove Flower

  Translucent is the beauty of the foxglove flower
Hiding is something they never ever do ~
       Extremely poisonous rashes nausea headaches !

  Find them in a cottage garden mingling entangled with catmint
Often they self seed in very strange and odd places
      Xcelsior (excelsior) hybrids are available in many lovely colours
Go look inside the tubular flower for freckles and spot decorations ~
                 Love oh admire them in a woodland theme garden
  On sunny days I pause to treasure their loveliness ~
Very respected flower to treat heart failure for over 200 years
        Enjoy them but do not touch them without gloves !

Foxgloves make a nice gift for a friends garden
   Liking to take over yours you need to control their rambling ways
On tall spikes these dreamy gems grow tall and stunning ~
           Walls of this charming flower called Digitalis is true natural beauty
Every color imaginable is available but I am fond of cherish pink
                      Remove the tallest spikes to make room for new growth !

O pening a mantle for spring’s preview…

N owhere can grandeur find pure beauty when
E ach quiver, each throb of blooms enthralls my

Heaven is located behind my front door
orchids of every colour adorn
my lounge; which is my horticultural haven
everywhere you look is blessed with their beauty

So many memories are behind these four
walls where my son spent his childhood days
Everywhere I look there are reminders of him;
even though he has flown the nest
this is always going to be his home

How time has passed so quickly
o ur lives certainly have changed
My home is our special sanctuary
Every day on earth that we remain

Happiness is remembering my wild summer garden,
Arbors of white roses and purple clematis;
Pretty yellow daylilies and daffodils beside a rail fence,
Placing carefully flowers, I create a soul-soothing retreat.
In my lovely garden all Mother's old favorites grow,
No color does not have its place to welcome birds and butterflies;
Even wild flowers and vines, and kittens grow,
Seeding themselves the purple larkspur and rosy phlox;
Such beauty, O such beauty, now is resting beneath the snow.

Cornflower Blue

child-like eyes I look at the waving flowers
only ones as blue as this can be called the cornflower
resplendent in any bouquet loved by many artists,
noted favourite of Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer
fields of cornflowers make everyone smile, even
loving the dormice that lives in its midst.
oh so blue the united mixed colours of spring and summer
with its mixture of green and yellow as nature intended
even though to feel blue is feeling sad or low
revealing a silly grin when a nosegay of these flowers are given by a child.

Antique Rose

            And of all the roses there is none more lovely than the antique rose,
Nothing compares to the classic old-rose shape, round and with full petals;
      Tumbling from a vase or garden trellis, creamy roses soft and pink,
In my mother's vast planting there was always a place for these vintage roses.
          Quite beautiful and romantic for a blushing bride to carry down the aisle,
Under my kitchen window they grow in harmony with my other sweet flowers;
      Even at my mother's funeral, her casket was draped in antique roses.

           Really they are my favourite flower and I have fond memories of them,
On walks around the garden with mother we would pick a bouquet of pale colors;
      Sweet oyster, pale pink, nude and rose, vintage beauties of perfection,
Even the antique rose grows at mother's tomb taken from her own wild garden;
            Soft and gorgeous, they are perfection for new love and for sad lost love.

Beautiful Bouquet Of Red Roses -The Acrostic Style

~Beautiful Bouquet Of Red Roses~

Beautiful bouquet of vibrant very lovely red roses
Elegant fragrant they're a gift from God above
A most romantic enchantingly soft delicate flower so very
Unique and beautiful in every single way
Their permeating perfume is truly a delight to my heart
Indeed their powerful presence is a bright sight to my eyes
Find them in a diverse array of colors, hues and names and all
Under a ton of their very exuberant unconcealed mythical celebrated charm and the
List of their endless variety just goes on and on

Roses are my very favorite flowers of all of them out there and
On this I can always honestly swear
Since they truly just amaze me and
Enthrall all of my heart and senses with all their unique loveliness and pure beauty.

Author's Notes:

An "Acrostic" is a poem or other form of writing in which the first letter, syllable or word of each line, paragraph or other recurring feature in the text spells out a word or a message. The word comes from the French "acrostiche" from post-classical Latin acrostichis.

Black thorny rose with
Layers of languished beauty.
An acquired taste they say,
Charming but undoubtedly rooty;
Keen admirers, thus far, have remained distant.

Rarely glimpsing her virtuous nature,
Only one chosen allowed to nurture,
She will once again thrive and glow,
Endlessly cultivating love to bestow.

Gardening is planting the seed in hope that it will grow and blossom
All things will blossom with time and sunshine
Roads can get bumpy when it rains but you can weather the storm
Don't let to much water fall from you can it can ruin the roots
Even if you don't mean to you still can neglect you plant
Never give up on your plant even when it looks like it's dying
I will give it plenty of time and attention and I will talk to it too
Need to give it plenty of space when transplanted so as not to anger
Grow with all my heart till it will burst open

Forever in Your Eyes

F-flower pedals fall from her soul, the essence of her being.

O-orchids, Lilies, Azalea’s, and Daisy’s, have you ever laid down in a bed of flowers and just starred at the sky as the clouds turn into

R-roses, Tulips, and Bleeding Hearts a comfortable bliss, holding you forever is what I see from the reflection of her eyes.

E-each pedal a representation of her genuine personality and vibrant beauty complimented by her

V-vivacious curves, smile, and eyes

E-every time I see her my heart lets go a tear of joy and smiles with sincerity;

R-reliving our first date, kiss, and I love you all in the midst of our walk under the moonlight.

I-I am always in awe of her and as I get lost in her Daffodil eyes within the
reflection I see memories of our future tied together in a bouquet.

N-nothing else matters as long as I can look into your eyes as you look back into mine. And they say roses are red with violets being blue so what does that make

Y-you? The most alluring flower the world has to offer with a soft love but at the same time overflowing with moxie.

O-oblivious I am to the atmosphere around me when I am in your presence.

U-unconditional love you provide to me, using flower pedals to patch the wounds on my heart. I’m

R-reborn each time our lips hold each other, I close my

E-eyes as our lips embrace only to open them and see that in

Y-your eyes I see the reflection of my heart jumping from my chest to your hands in order to grow like

E-evergreen throughout our years together, I hope you know that I will always

S-sacrifice anything to remain forever in your eyes and watch the flowers of your life grow.

Love is pure beauty...at least, that's what I thought at first...don't spend your time unwisely, searching for temporary love that's sugar-coated and fake...love is an unbreakable vow
Oh! But, I wanna experience love at first sight (OH STOHP WHINING) - I need to have a faithful mate very badly, but I must remain self-controlled and patient, for the time will come!
Vibrant sun smiles down on me...sun rays warm my heart of affection and heartfelt emotions - hatred is an unwanted guest! An annoying pest! It envies our everlasting love, blossoming like a flower in spring
Enlivened by your innocence and pleasurable friendship - does she truly love me or is is just my impossible-to-achieve dream I dream...caught under your wicked spell! You're an enchanting oath that I don't..loathe
