Life is full of wonderment and blessings well received.
The greatest gift, so well conceived, the freedom to believe.
Thanking God that in this glorious world He perceived.
There, stands today beauty and grandeur that awed we can achieve.
Our ancestors, many moons ago, the motherland did flee.
Enriching lives, harvest, and family in this land of milk and honey.
Gratitude after we gathered the fruits of our great labors.
Holding hands with love we pray with family, friends, and neighbors.
Thankfulness for waking to feel warm sun on our face, all hail.
The wind's breeze, melodies in green trees from sweet nightingales,
You cast off my chains; you set me free, through true eyes, now I see.
Each dawn I give thanks I am free! Thank you, Lord from the real me.
Thank you for my mind and heart and trusting me from the start.
For the sun, the moon, the stars, and all your creatures who take part.
Also for things in me once damaged, now mending a new start.
To live this life, day to day, with the minimum of fuss-
We believe in many things, that the joys of life bring us.
From majestic mountains, to the tiniest of bugs,
Wondrous bountiful God, created these for poetry.
I am sending GOOD energy, to my friends, and hugs.
My thanks are carried on waves over the November seas.
To friends from afar who grace my life with comfort and ease.
One unending relationship with God and His wonderful love...
Four sons, the gifts given to me from Heaven high above,
I am so thankful to be gifted with so many different things.
And being healthy under loving angel's caring wings
One great blessing: I begin to see the world was more than me.
Methodical. Prodigal. More logical, I found the great light love.
Within our thankful hearts today, a prayer is softly said,
Blessing all who join with us as we eat and share our bread.
Our lives are enriched by family and friends that we love.
With grateful hearts, we thank our generous Father above.
The wonders of your world, Lord, Earthbound and on the wing,
Our hearts are filled with happiness for every blessed thing.
So, thank you, Lord for everything that upon us you bestowed.
Especially for your love dear, Lord that bountifully has flowed.

I just need to say thank you

I sit on our veranda, the sun shines down on me,
I sit out at night, the moon beams down on me,
I sit on our veranda, the stars twinkle above me,
I sit out in the heat, the breeze caresses me.

I see the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea,
I gaze at the beauty that is Cyprus,
I gaze in awe of all the splendour within my view.
I feel God saying, David, I did this just for you.

We came to this Island in the sun,
We felt that our working life was done.
God must have laughed at our plan,
For that's the time when His began.

We work part time in a Hospice shop,
No pay, but great rewards each day
Folk come by with their stories, some sad,
We pray, and send them on their way.

I came from a humble background, I have toiled all my life,
I came to the end of my working life, just glad that I survived,
I struggled for the most part, clinging to the wreckage as 'they' say.
God sent me a wonderful person to help me on lifes way.

We married all those years ago, not knowing what the future held,
Jesus is the glue in our marriage, He holds us together as one.
He is the 'food' for our sustinance, He keeps us 'alive'
Thank you Jesus for all the work You have done in our lives.

I thank the Lord from Sunday to Sunday,
The sun's shining today & I hear no gun play,
See I used to stand tall
with my back against the wall
but now it's only one way, [ Jesus' ]

See I detoured from the dead end streets,
I'm equipped with Bible knowledge now
so I'm putting distractions under my feet,

I say to self, if it's evil
then I'm passing it by,
I've seen too many people
walking by the caskets & cry,
looking up and they're asking HIM why,

See we all felt these pains & it hurts,
Too many soldiers with their faces
and hood names on a shirt,
See when The Messiah came to this earth,

He was on a special mission,
He had some stop paying taxes
some stop fishin',
We were blessed with a Great Leader
and 12 guys who played their positions,

They followed Our Shepherd and dispensed the gospel,
the lives of Jesus and his apostles,
were excepted in some places
but some places were hostile,

BUt with Lords will the mission was completed,
He shed blood on Calvary
and the devil was defeated,

and our sins were washed away,
and I thank him for this day,

Glory Be to Just One God

Glory Be to Just One God

SubhanAllah – Glory be to Allah
Glory be to Allah who created –
The lands, the mountains, and flowing rivers,
The skies and planets He decorated.

Glory be to Allah who made the moon,
Shine at night and change to many phases.
SubhanAllah – God’s signs are in us too –
Humans with various heights, looks and voices.

SubhanAllah – see how God made us all,
And all the things that surround us on earth –
From tiny atoms to high waterfalls,
And feelings of creatures like fear and mirth.

Glory be to Allah who owns all Glory –
SubhanAllah – how God made you and me.

The future does not startle me anymore
The gift of now is my shield
Made of a native rock,
right here
I stand protected.

Thank you

I was lost amid my own chaotic life
Waking up became a challenging task
Surrounded by darkness, you still held my hand

All my burdens faded when shared with you
With you, my pain was lifted
Because of you, I’m finally in bliss

Dear God,
May you never let go of my hand…

days like today

My eyes are wide open but I am in deed alseep
And I pray the Lord my soul to keep
I mean because I'm in the water and it is deep
I am walking down the road and it is steep
I've heard look before you leap
But I'm in over my head and so I weep
Not because of what people might say
But because I saw it coming a mile away
And did nothing
I sit idly by
As things, people, dreams pass me by
Not motivated to get integrated
In those things that could help me prosper
Instead I stay in a stupor
of stupid unwilling to move
Because I have nothing to prove
But everything to lose
Or do I have anything at all
Glass pitcher on a diagonal shelf and I don't care that it might fall
I'm sitting down when I should be standing tall
And asking the Lord for help
But I continue to look to my own self
And put the Lord to side
As if I can be my own Guide
Lord please forgive me
I ca't continue to be
this ungrateful
this unthankful
And it's shameful

A Prayer Of Thanks

Prayer of Thanks

Lord, thank you for the gifts
That you have bestowed on me
I hope I use them wisely
To bring honor unto thee

I will always praise your name
And strive to make men see
The sacrifice you made
On the Cross to set us free

Sometimes we forget to thank you
For the wonders you have wrought
And often failed to follow
The rules that you have taught

And if, in some small way
I inspire someone to pray
These gifts will be well spent
And I will die content

Dear God

Dear God,
I'm writing this to you
to thank you for the blessings,
the troubles, the hard times
and all the testing.

I've had a hard life
and your the only one that really knows,
when no one else gave me love
yours is the only one that really shows.

And I'm eternaly grateful for you
sending your Son to die for me,
and I've accepted you in my heart
and heaven is where I'm destined to be.

Where I can praise you eternaly
and be by your side,
and be filled with joy forever
with no more tears to cry.

You've given me trials and tribulations
but nothing more than I can bare,
With the strength you gave me and your blessed love
I overcame it with the power of prayer.

So as I pray
and ask for a family,
I know your in Heaven,listening
ready to answer me.

So as my Heavenly Father
I just want to thank you,
for your eternal love
so bright... so true....

The Truth

When I think over my life and see how blinded that my eyes had been how the
truth of my Lord and Savior had been hidden within, within the hearts of these
vicious men, the ones whose motives were to keep the spirit from living within.

I say I love Jesus but just who is this Jesus to me. I've learned to know him
personally, to know him intimately, to know that he lives in me. To hear the
sound of his voice and feel his touch was one of the greatest gifts that this Jesus
has given me. I love this Jesus, because he died for me and arose of the third
day. He was crucified not just for me but for each and every last one of us.

You see before the Holy Spirit visited me I thought my life was so complete didn't
know that it was food hidden deep down in this book that he left for me. I never
thought that I would be worthy of much of nothing but my God, Jesus my Lord
came and gave me this special something.

Throughout my life he has given me bits and pieces of this puzzle we call life,
hidden treasures that he has stored within me. Gifts that would flourish and help
uproot a ministry. I thank God for all that I have been through and how he have
allowed his truth to be revealed to me. To open my eyes and see how many
miracles that my God has performed for me, makes me stop and think how is
God going to use me. I thank God for his truth and I pray that each and every one
of you know his truth! and see this evil world for what it is.

never know
how truly warm it is until the sun goes away

vibrance disguised by the shadow - hormonal disposition

fragrance soothing enough to muster comfort and hope,

	is this enough you ask……NEVER
WILL WITH ABILITY IS CANDOR, Will without is reality

I thought I might have been blessed….i Now know that I was the blessing.

Thank you lord for the shield…..I can only ask for better fighting weapons

As the leaves fall, I am reminded………

Unto thee this day I give

thanks to thee that I might live

upon this earth created by thee.

Unto thee upon bended knee

I thank thee dearly for the tree

that sits upon my meager plot.

Unto me the marrow may not

bring me grain for my cooking pot

but thou shall not see me hang my head.

Unto thee I give thanks for the bread

that keeps my loving family fed.

A sweet thanksgiving is
felt by all who are
grateful: as an obligation
and a fervent devotion
toward Someone
who's greater than us!

As the growing lights
of the new sunrise
engulf us in stupefaction,
magnificence strikes us
with its overwhelming force;
and in it we find consolation...
when our fading hope
is challenged by faith!

A sweet thanksgiving
is simply the appreciation
for being free and alive,
to thank the One who gave
us life...to continue living
with compassion and rendition!

Your Words

I read a piece today written with so much emotion
Sent out to us all from a heart with such devotion
Continuing the words page to page
The words surround me becoming my cage
A Man sending his message with such glory
Words are taken in as i read his story
How his words reach in touching my hearts core
Waiting for the continuation so i may read more
Intense happiness surrounds me as i read on
Line after line than the words are gone
I take a breath and wait patiently
In hopes of a continuation i will see
For his words give me all that i may feel
An uplifting reality that no one can steel
I get so much feeling from all that he writes
His words casting upon me an everlasting light

I Like

Grace and mercy is what you provide,
Provide just enough to give me through this life;
Blood from your body has protected me,
Don't let me go, O Lord, all my fears must set free.

Jesus, all my life,
I will praise you Christ
I know just how to do it,
And I'm going to prove it.

I like the way you chose me,
I like the way you hold me,
I like the way you've saved me,
I can't get enough of how you graced me.

The Truth and Life are who you are,
The way the Father, my bright morning star;
You bore the cross of each and every sin,
Defeated death, giving eternal life to us again.

Jesus, all my life,
I will praise you Christ
I know just how to do it,
And I'm going to prove it.

I like the way you love me,
I like the way you touch me,
I like the way you're keeping me,
I can't get enough of how you speak to me.

I like the way you chose me,
I like the way you hold me,
I like the way you've saved me,
I can't get enough of how you graced me.

Lord, don't go, don't go, please don't leave;
There's no one else to favor me in sight,
Only you can you fill all hearts when weak,
Lord, just let me praise all things that I like.

Lord, don't go, don't go, please don't leave;
There's no one else to favor me in sight,
Only you can you fill all hearts when weak,
Lord, just let me praise all things that I like.

I like the way you chose me,
I like the way you hold me,
I like the way you've saved me,
I can't get enough of how you graced me.

I like the way you love me,
I like the way you touch me,
I like the way you're keeping me,
I can't get enough of how you speak to me.

Thank God

A famous preacher said that when we pray, we should thank God in advance.
That way the chances of our prayers being answered will be enhanced.
Thank God if you're praying for a sick friend to heal.
If you thank him for going to answer your prayer, he most likely will.
After you thank him, have faith that he will answer your prayers.
God loves all of us and no matter what the circumstances, he'll always be there.
