Younger Old Man

Much younger I am
in my older years.
My mind much calmer
now, silence it hears.
Blurs of glad thoughts
it sees, still wondering,
still feeling all that's
worth remembering.
I may guess how
I seem on the outside
and believe how
I really am inside.
Used to feel I missed
something good before.
Now I am what
I wasn't anymore.
