When we were young, life was so simple. easy and pure. We were taught to love, not hate. We were taught that kindness to others.... should be the way of life.

And when I see... the skies in blue It brings me back Like Deja-vu To all my days Of young...again Remember those Remember When... life was so simple And life was so pure We knew not hate We knew not war We learned to love We learned to give We learned to be kind "That's how we should live" So when I see... the next skies of blue I'll be sending some love To you, you...and you (To All) July 2018 Premiere, Any Form Or None, Any Theme Upto A Max Of 20 Lines Poetry Contest Sponsored By Brian Strand 7/10/2018

Gee Charles, a verse like this really hits home. Life today appears so complex whereas it was so laid back before all the modern gadgets - thanks Mate - Lindsay

I too remember when, maybe because it seemed a gentler time. Would I go back if I could? Yes, I think I would. It has brought so many things to mind, good things. Thank you Charlie.

Life has been through many changes indeed, where things aren't the way they used to be. It is wonderful to see kindness still exists. In words such as this, and around you, you, you. :) Brandy

Lovely verse Charles, yes, how good were the old days when life was good and we didn't have a care in the world, but as we get older we do see a darker side. Tom.
