Witness Protection
I’ve walked through the fire,
and wasn’t touched by the flame
I was called, chosen ... selected
to preach Jesus Christ’s name
I came not forth of my own volition,
my dark past made me not qualified
Being a sinner above sinners,
with a criminal heart and a corrupt mind,
God said to His Son, he’s the one I’m gonna sanctify
Christ washed me clean with a blood-fire baptism,
freed me from the Devil's sin prison
Put me in witness protection,
and gave me a new spiritual life
Now, I’m able to walk through the fire,
and not get burnt by the flame
I’m witness protected
when I preach Jesus Christ’s name
Once I got Holy Ghost fire baptized,
the Lord gave me a new set of eyes
and kryptonite X-ray glasses
that can see thru every unholy disguise
I’m witness protected,
baby, you betta know it
I got called, chosen ... elected
Being a disciple of Christ is as good as it get
Everyday I’m gonna give a good witness,
sing joyous praise and shout a faithful amen
Arise the next day and do it again
Each new day, teaching and preaching
from early dawn to dusk day’s end
Always uplifting Jesus Christ’s name
So, I now ask you in truth ...
Can you walk through the fire,
and not get consumed by the flame?
