Wise Enough
I'm wise enough
to know what I don't know
I'm dumb enough still
to put on a vain show
Wise enough to look
through the window clear
Dumb enough to close the curtains,
and darken the atmosphere
I'm wise enough
to see my own faults,
and accept them for what they are
I'm dumb enough
to be blinded by prosperity,
denying that money can change my heart
I'm wise enough to know,
I got a lot of learning to do
I'm dumb enough to not know,
too much learning can turn me into a fool
Hope I'm wise enough
to avoid the traps and pitfalls of life
Yet be just dumb enough
to get tripped up, and stumble into paradise
