Wind Chime
W Weather beaten he ponders whether jingles retreat or retrieve
I Imagines gentle caresses and remembers screaming silence and void
N No tambourine major nestles the strings while tin soldiers dangle
D Down by the river chanting bowls hang from filigree shackles
C Conscript to the beauty cautiously cling to how freedom unfolds
H Hermes conducts his soul orchestrates wind chimes of peace in
I Incantations inclined to soothe to unearth a sound of sweet time
M Morpheus awakens rings in tuned voices and becomes whole as he
E Embraces melody’s breeze and leaves tomb’s inscriptions behind
