Why?

God, I know you protect me, perfect me, strengthen me, but why do I feel so weak? You love me, and hold me, comfort me deep, but why do I feel so lonely? I know you rescue me, save me, remove me from the mire and bile, but why are these chains still on my wrists? You keep me, whisper to me, know my deepest dreams, but why do the nightmares still persist? God, I know you listen to me, answer me, show me what is true, but why do these prayers seem unheard by you? Remind me, unbind me, please, free me from this life that persists.

God always listens and walks with us even through the tough times when we can't always hear Him. Keep the faith. This is a poem most will relate to. Blessings to you for sharing it. Karen

aww a powerful poem, sometimes it seems like our prayers take a long time in being answered, I know it's not much comfort but it took me 29 years to be totaly free, My mother left home when i was 11 years old and i saw my dsad have a break down over it, it took me so long to get rid of all my insecurites and to release my inner pain that I didn't relize somethings I had bottled up so long, God will answer your prayes and you will be free God's timing is different from ours cont....

love this! (I swear! I just heard a Loon! trill-twice! and I live in the city and it's my birthday! how cool is that? Betty?) ...anyway! whew! I say "release yourself" from worry and focus on doing what is for the good every moment and you will be accomplishing what God has in store for you! Love, Jim
