Where's the Color In the Black and White

Dedicated to my friend Jordan Things always seem to fade Fade into the grey And it makes me wonder Where is the color In this world of black and white Where is the color It makes me wonder You say I’m ignorant For what I believe There can’t be a God In all the bullsh** lies But what if Just think of this There’s a bigger plan than what you See So many questions Go unanswered So many things go unsaid We go through these motions Never questioning what we see While there’s scars on our wrists There’s a devil on my shoulder Whispering to me Reminding me of the pain inside This life’s a battle We search for the angel On the other side But the demon screams You are nothing You say I’m ignorant For what I believe There can’t be a God In all the bullsh** lies But what if Just think of this There’s a bigger plan than what you See I refuse to believe That there’s nothing after this We go through this life Fighting to survive There must be a point to this I know I’m human And I know I’ll always fail Though I give it my best I know I need His grace If I’ll make it to another night You say I’m ignorant For what I believe There can’t be a God In all the bullsh** lies But what if Just think of this There’s a bigger plan than what you See His grace he freely gives His blood was spilt for me I still wonder why Cause I knew I deserved to die I will give you my heart And all you ask of me Cause I know home is in front of me My mansion up in the skies Heaven’s gates are opened wide You say I’m ignorant For what I believe There can’t be a God In all the bullsh** lies You say I’ll do my best To get great and famous Be loved by so many Become a memory But then you die What next?
