Where the Head Go's
A dream
A thought
A conversation
Or something written down
Can all trigger
My head to go
To fly away
To wherever
Heads go
Where it ends
I don’t know
Sometimes
It seems
I am just along
For the ride
Watching
The scenes pass
As a child
Would do
Out the car window
To events passed
Triumphs and defeats
Regrets and pure joy
Times of
Fun and laughter
Wilderness and beauty
Beaches and sun
Of summers had
Emotions felt
Forward
It can fly
Events
I wish to come
Events
I wish to stop
Just a daydream
To have
In my head
In my sleep
All the real fun comes
My head go’s
As if out of
My control
To place’s
Far beyond
Or deep within
I sometimes
Just don’t know
Locations and facades
Far yonder
Lurking closer
Who’s to know
Where the head
Will go
