When We Walked those wetland Ways

I loved to walk Those Wetland tracks
So very many years ago
For nature did my mind attract
Flowers, and trees they made me glow

So very many years ago
I loved natures sweet mystery
Flowers, and trees they made me glow
They did keep me in ecstasy

I loved natures sweet mystery
I loved the parrots all around
They did keep me in ecstasy
Such sweetness on these trails I found

I loved the parrots all around
I loved the lizards and the frogs
Such sweetness on these trails I found
I used to wander with my dogs

I loved the lizards, and the frogs
We’d walk for miles beside the lake
I used to wander with my dogs
We’d often see a tiger snake

We’d walk for miles beside the lake
Sometimes it could be rather hot
we’d often see a tiger snake
The heat could scorch us Quite a lot

Sometimes it could be rather hot
Oh how I loved to walk those days
That heat could scorch us quite a lot
Bu me I loved to walk these ways

Oh, how I loved to walk those days
But now my legs are getting stale
I really loved to walk those ways
Guess me I’m just a worn out male
