When Playing a Game of Statue
Let a friend toss you
and assume the shape
of what you’ve become.
A swan, a fountain,
whatever’s in your imagination,
you are.
Have faith.
It’s all in the game.
Look at the cloud above you
and call it by name.
Watch as the winds
take it to the horizon
before you end your play.
This is your dream
of eternal lives.
Remember who you are
while wearing different faces.
