When Mother Nature Heals a Broken Soul
When Mother Nature Heals A Broken Soul
Walk in Nature, to give it a visit
stroll its epic beauty, maybe kiss it
Touch ancient trees, rest in coolest shades
purge my saddened heart with deep forest raids
Don't tell my blue-shadow for it would cry
thinking it had failed not knowing the why
Pretending each path, journey into dreams
fleeing fish swimming in clearest of streams
As sun shines, see glory's majestic hues
find over again, those welcoming clues
Sing out loud, Mother Nature please, please bring
soft, joyous views to destroy heartache's sting
Sit in palaces of fallen red oak leaves
Heal this, my aching soul, as it slow grieves.
