When Life Gets Rough On You
When life gets rough on you,
there's someone who is always here
to wait for you, and whenever
you think it's the proper time
to end your freedom: just say
you want to be mine.
When life gets rough on you,
don't be ashamed to say it's true;
only then you'll know
that it will take two
to start endless days of laughter...
that we'll live closely together
just me and you!
When life gets rough on you,
I won't ever give up on you;
when life gets rough in you,
I'll be the one you hang onto!
