What I Missed

As the soft rain began to fall A sense of sadness seemed to crawl A longing for something amiss As the light raindrops and leaves kiss Shiny shades of green all around Remind me that I have not found Something that does still wait for me When the clouds disperse, I will see What it is I missed yesterday Shining in the sunlight today Heidi Sands 5/20/18
