What Can I Leave Behind From Me?
What can I leave behind from me?
My poems,
which aren’t bad,
but nobody needs them.
A few of my books also,
and my students,
who will not remember me.
What can I leave behind from me?
My loved son.
He is in heaven already,
and God is near him.
What will I leave after me?
My heart,
and a bit of my pencil.
