Waterfall

I am the water nursed toward the loving light born to rise and fall not the large wave crest willing its way to the top grasping at the sky nor the sad whisper landing deep within the fog grieving please not now born to rise and fall calmly reflect in the sun I am the water "The moment the wave understands that she is water, she loses all fear and enjoys much more being a wave, without a beginning and end".

Outstanding write, P.M., richly deserving of its placement in Brian Strand's contest...I love that poetic device, "I am the Water..." You made it work perfectly, as the poem is alive and breathing! Best wishes, Gershon

I FAVEd the combination of your poem and the quote below. Whose is the quote "The moment the wave understands that she is water, she loses all fear and enjoys much more being a wave, without a beginning and end"? Well done and congrats on your win, P.M.

This is a beautiful poem written on the subject of water. I find the water calming and relaxing. I like the sound of the waves hitting the shore. Have a nice evening my friend.
